thank you for this great overview and install of this rack. looks like a super sweet. can you say whether the fit shims you used actually come with the kit or did you come up with those yourself?
I’m glad you found the video useful. I love the rack even after putting it through the paces. Holds my Mosko Moto R40 perfectly. The shims do NOT come with the kit. I just used some shims I had in my toolbox. Thanks for watching
@ thank you. saw a system on an @rtwpaul video that has a mechanical center latch point onto a back plate (Gnoblin) but looks like you’re strapping onto the Globetrottin rack with no other plates, etc. glad to hear it’s working out for you. and thanks again for all your helpful video posts.
Yeah my Mosko Moto R40’s are the original version and the Gnoblin plate wasn’t an option, so I have the bags strapped down to the rack. Thanks for watching.
I'm surprised you were able to communicate so well with them. I've been looking into one of those racks for a couple months and the communication is the biggest hurdle. I'm probably going to go with a different rack at this point.
I know what you mean. Communication when I’m going to drop a good chunk of change on something is paramount. Fortunately for me communication was excellent. And I love the rack. Just recently had it out and it work flawlessly. Really happy with the rack. Good luck on whichever way you go.
I liked the streamline look and fit of the Globetrotting. Also, it seems like the globetrotting rack has a little more real estate to mount bags. When it was all said and done Globetrottin just appealed to me.
@@OldGoatsMoto Very cool. Rack looks nice on your bike. I rock Mosko Backcountry’s on PanAm and got the reckless 80 for the KTM. You won’t be disappointed.
I like you don't care about showing your license plate. I've never understood those people that hide their plates. If you're Ozzy, Metallica, or your car is worth 2 mil, ok, but not us average Joes.

Queda perfecto!!
Thank you.
Nice review. Curious how it will hold up offroad. I love my mosko bags.
Yes I’m curious to find out how they hold up too.
I went with the TNM rack, any particular reason you chose the Globetrotter?

Thanks man. I love my Mosko R40. Just wish they weren’t so expensive. lol
Haha no joke. At least they should outlast us. 😂

Haha yeah I’m not sure why they do that. I don’t know, maybe it will bite me in the butt but I hope not. lol
