This was played at my Dad's funeral in February of this year. He fought cancer for 2 years. He had such a passion for Jesus and I'm relieved he's no longer in pain. These lyrics are just so true, and I hope I can make both of my Fathers in heaven proud.

Also, the rector at the Episcopal Church where I sing, sang this at her installation some years back and I got to sing it as a duet with her not so long ago.

This song, I first heard it on a C.S. Lewis tribute album. So far as I can tell from Lewis' writing (would that I could have met him) I don't think there was a single song on that album, nor any I've heard, which reflected the author's heart more than this one... I suppose this should be true of us all... The one thing I can say regarding that, though, is that I fall short... I long for the day when all that's wrong in me and all that is wrong in the world, is put right.
