  • I love me some baby back ribs, but the time, equipment and effort it takes to smoke them traditionally, is just too much for me.
But...that doesn't mean, I'm not going to cook them; it just means that I'm going to cook them the easy way.
While my version may not QUITE as good as the pro's, it will still fully satisfy. The ribs are insanely tasty, takes about 1 hour of active time, and about 2.5 hours of cooking time, and is simple enough that anyone can make them. The three things you need to get right are:
    1) Getting flavor with a rub
    2) Cooking at the right temp for the right time
    3) Getting a final char on the ribs.
Check out the video to see how, and let me know what you think by putting your tips in the comments!

Looks great and the only thing that would make them better is if you cut the ribs before they cook so the dry rub and eventually the bbq sauce is all the way around the meat. More surface area equals more flavor!

That’s the way I do it . The vinegar in the mustard acts as a tenderizer and the mustard itself acts like a glue for the rub.

Could I finish the ribs in my broiler to finish the ribs if it were raining?
