Great vid ram! I have this cube too, and the way even layered cubes work the difference you found the actuator to make is sadly placebo/difference in set up compared to your other mgc. The actuator just sits between the spring and screw and doesn’t actually do anything because there’s no friction between the spring and screw on even layered cubes. Yj has announced a new 3x3 with the actuator, so I’m curious to see how much of a difference it will make on a cube where it might actually be doing what it was designed to do
Thanks! That’s rather unfortunate :( I could’ve sworn that this was faster than other MGC 4x4s I’ve tried. I’m guessing they may have used weaker springs or something in order to create that fast speed? In any case, $32 for this vs $20 for the regular seems a bit ridiculous.
@@RamThakkar they did make the internals primary plastic instead of white plastic, so I’m guessing that’s where most of the difference is. Forgot they did that when I wrote my original comment. Definitely not worth the extra $12, especially when the vin is much better imo

Hey! I’ve tried it and it’s probably the best GAN 3x3 atm, so if you really want a GAN 3x3, go for it. However otherwise, you’d be better off getting one of the Moyu releases which are cheaper and a little better in my opinion :)

is this cube uv coated? nice to see another cuber use that oll parity alg lol also for the pll parity, have you considered the inverse? inverse starts with Uw2 while standard starts with r2, for r2 you have to get in M grip(kinda) but for Uw2 you can just straight away start the alg from homegrip
@@RamThakkar for $32 dollars for a yj cube, i expected uv coating smh a additional $13 for that small change in screw area is kinda a lot for me, so i might just get the uv coated vincube
@@RamThakkarcube names are going crazy now. Like Gan stopped making 12 and 13 pro and called it maglev or leap and now they made a bad cube and made a better one and just called it pro.😬

Hahah OLL parity gang. Nah actually about the PLL parity, I should look into it. Btw the cube is not UV Coated, it's just standard glossy plastic.
