Krishn cried two times in the entire show. One when Draupadi was being disrobed and second when Abhimanyu was being slaughtered. By the way, thanks for making me aware of Krishn in my life🙏🏻.
I didn't skip a single second of this entire vedio.... Thats how much i love this show and specialy the cast .... And i feel so happy that all of us love this show soooo much..... And i really used to watch this show with my parents together we would sit and ignore everything happening around...best time of my life....and when this show came to an end it left a void... literally cried a lot.
No doubt that POOJA SHARMA is a fantastic Actress but also she's intellectual person as well. The way she answered to the question was commendable. I'm really impressed by her acting skills and her personality. For me, She was the STAR of the show ♥️
I think one thing that is seriously underrated about this show and wasn't talked about or addressed or appreciated enough in this round table meet is the title music and the entire background music score in each and every sequence. Alongwith the magnificent writing of the show....the background score was equally contributing to the goosebumps that we still have whenever we rewatch. It created and held the entire vibe of each scene!

22 days for the Cheerharan sequence!😮 I can only imagine how hard it would've been for the cast to hold the same emotions and performance and to continue it..not to mention, to keep the same setting, visuals etc for 22 days must've been very tough! But iss show ke writers main itni himaat thi Ki uss cheez ko inhone Hataya Criticism ke bawajood.

Hats off to the makers of Mahabharat. I truly salute you for making such an epic show, which will remain in everyone's heart till eternity. Ten years back I don't know how but I guess my conscience told me to watch this show and God knows how many times I have re-watched it in hotstar. I have just lost the counting now. First I'll say is the cast, hats off to the makers for selecting one hell of a cast that no one I repeat no one can replace. I don't think anyone else could have justified the roles like This Cast has done. Even after watching it for so many times yet I get emotional whenever I hear the soundtrack of Mahabharat. I have watched many shows in my life from daily soaps to mythological shows but I have never heard such a soundtrack before. It's a masterpiece. Now coming to the main point, one of the main reasons why I am so much in love with this show is because of Draupadi and Arjun. Yes it is true from the starting onwards I don't know why but I have always shipped that couple and seeing Pooja and Shaheer as Draupadi and Arjun, I just couldn't stop shipping them. But yes the scenes that you showed between Arjun and Draupadi, I can't describe how perfectly you have described each and every scene so beautifully and that soundtrack of them, uffff what can I say. I have heard many romantic soundtrack but never like this. This soundtrack of Draupadi and Arjun is purely magical. It is something so divine that it actually feels as if it is god's own sound. This sound purely is a surreal feeling to the ears. It is divine. Thank you so much skt sir for making this Mahabharat and bringing it into our lives.

Chopra's mahabharat. One of the best part i loved were the dialogues choosen that were really imapactful and respectful as compared to today's top budget religious films.
I recently got to know costumes for this show were designed by Bhanu Athaiyya, the Oscar winning costume designer who also designed costumes for Amrapali, Gandhi, Lagaan etc. When I got to know I was like “tabhi… tabhi costumes looked so amazing in the show”. Really. I loved the styling of all the characters.
One of my most favorite serial on Mahabharat. I have lot of issues with the storyline but the dialogues written for various scenes were so extraordinary that it felt like the scene really exists in the Mahabharat. I love the portrayal of 'Draupadi' by Pooja Sharma. She is One of the finest actress I have ever seen. Saurav Gurjar played Bheem briliantly. I genuinely felt many times that his portryal of Bheem was close to the descriptions given in the Mahabharat. Other actors too were excellent.
Blessing for us that I have seen Mahabhaarat from 1 episode to last .. And still watching on repeat whenever I'm in low time This show actually gives me strength and courage to face it ... OMG!! I cant just tell how useful this serial has been in my life. I used to watch in daily during my school days , Iam from a non Hindi speaking Northeastern state and through this i learnt speaking good "shudh Hindi". Won a cluster level Chinmaya Bhagwad Gita chanting competition. And now, In UPSC journey, it helps me a lot in understanding and visualising the chapters in Ancient History. I cant thank this show enough for helping the little me so much, in so many ways. Love u all.

My younger daughter loves Arjun! She is just 4 years old and she saw promo of Do Patti recently and immediate response of her was "Aai he's OUR Arjun".. She is so obessed to Arjun that we had to buy her a bow and arrow. My elder daughter is huge fan of Bheem and keeps asking me to make laddoos 😃. But above everything we all love our Krishna ❤ Whenever my daughters sit for prayers, they imagine Sourabh ji as Krishna and they feel that he is always with them. How Shaheer welled up while speaking about the impact the show had on him and how it changed him as a person and the respect and responsibility he felt for the iconic character of Arjun, the tears in his eyes whilst talking about it says it all! Truly, he didn't 'do' the Arjun role, none of the actors 'did', it was divine intervention that extracted the performance out of them.
I’m so glad for one reason that these are real actors they respect their characters and they are still serious about those things they are not laughing on anything,I’ve seen actors laughing on serious vulnerable situations also when they talk about their shoot , respect yaar🙏😌😌
And the amazing part is they are addressing each other by the name of their characters... like Samrat, Parth, Bhrata Bheem, Pitamah, Taat shree, Govind - Sakhi... ❤ They all are so adorable and serious about their craft.

I recently watched mahabharat for the first time and this show has impacted so much on me especially krishna's verses of initial episodes..I listen to them on repeat ...I have recommended to this show to my roommates and we used to sit together at dinner watching 3-4 episodes in one single shot...this is true that this show will be remembered for the coming years..Lots of appreciation and love for this cast and this show.

We need a part 2 of this reunion with the other cast members as well. Every single one of them were brilliant. I have read Mahabharat many times, watched the old show as well, but this show exceeded all my expectations. The lessons in each episode touched my soul. Krishna, Draupadi, Arjun, Shakuni all characters were brilliantly written & acted. I don't think another Mahabharat series can be attempted in near future and if it is, it'd be a huge challenge for them to surpass this show. I have so many memories associated with this show as well, of watching it everyday, of discussing it with friends. It's a big part of my life. Thank you for making this.

It is really shocking to know it was her 1st show but she nailed the character of draupadi❤ and how beautifully she answered that question she is good both as an artist and a human being.❤
This case is literally the best .. Krishna, Draupadi, Bheesm, Shakuni, Dhritrashtra, Arjun, Kunti, Matsyagandha Samrat, Bheem, Tau everyone chosen so carefully. I can literally see them today as their characters despite of their western clothing.. That’s the power of acting . This Mahabharata was literally the BEST 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I used to watch Mahabharat in starplus daily when i was in 8th standard back then alongwith reading our supplementary reader on Mahabharat in school😊.... It feels so good to see all the actors who played their respective roles fantastically in one table after so many years This show is truly nostalgic and brings back tons of memories 😊❤

It started with a vlog of mumbaikar nikhil in which he said I always watch krishna vani, so I searched for it and btw that was a really bad phase in my life breakup, family issues etc. but when krishna enters everything starts to change.really krishna vani changed me. And then I decided to watch Mahabharat full, and the rest is history,the world's best show which will be me till death 🙏, Thank you sir for making it 😊. It will guide our youth 🪔.
As a Chennai guy, idk if they will ever get to know about the impact the series had on almost all states including TAMIL NADU thanks to the impressive dubbing done by DUBBING ARTISTS especially KRISHNA VA who is now is a regular in other TV SERIALS atm in TAMIL but yes this series can't be recreated even in a MOVIE capacity I believe 😅
I am a mechanical engineer from Tripura North East (India). My age is 24 . I really love this Mahabharat When I am Upset or I pass through any kind of depression I see this Mahabharat's some of my fav episode and it gives me the power to follow up. I really saw the whole series many times during the lockdown period I finished the show in just 10 to 15 days . Literally it gives me goosebumps and makes me cry all the time. Love you all ❤

This show can not be compared, replaced or remade in centuries. I have watched it multiple times, but want to watch it again and again, every single frame shows how much of a efforts everyone has taken to bring the show to this level of popularity. I have watched this show so many times that now I recite the dialogue along with the characters, I am watching it right now too and honestly I have lost count of the number of times Mahabharat is playing on my TV and all I can say is no matter how many times you watch it, no matter from which scene or from which episode you start watching it - you can never get bored! It is always as fresh as the first time and I connect with it even more deeply each time. BR Chopra's Mahabharat was undoubtedly a masterpiece but this show has captured our hearts in ways that can't be explained. Never seen such a streamlined historical show (Of course other than Devo Ke Dev Mahadev). All the love and respect to every single person who gave his/her best to make this show a cinematic masterpiece. I will keep on watching this with the same level of interest even when I have kids and will surely show them too! Pranipat🙏
The Game of Dice sequence was the most artistically brilliant scene of all time. Every actor- be it the Pandavas- Bheem, Arjun, Yudhisthir, Nakul- Sahdev (right from where Sahdev said "Bhrata Bheem, bura samay usi ko kehte hai jab adhar ke liye jis rassi ko pakda jaaye, wahi sarp nikle. Mujhe bhay hai kadachit aj sab maun rahe..." to the point where Krishna consoles Draupadi when she had shut herself up in a room), be it Duryodhan, Shakuni, Karna, Bheeshm, Dhritarashtra, Kunti, Gandhari... All people came and gave their best. The other few underrated scenes which I absolutely love are: 1. Gandhari's wedding (I still brawl my eyes out when Kripacharya says "Rajkumari Gandhari ne bhi ek Bheeshm pratigya li hai...) 2. Gandhari's difficult pregnancy and her abusive relationship with Dhritarashtra, to the point when he chooses to sleep with her maid, abandoning her in disdain and pure agony after which she hits her stomach. That scene is extremely triggering to watch. Every woman in this world must have cried unconsolably. 3. Draupadi's birth 4. Draupadi's dharm-sankat, when she finally decides to wed the five pandavas. She and Krishna share a wonderful conversation, not before Krishna reminding Dhrupad that he was the one who prayed for miseries in her fate. 5. That tiny scene when Bheem shares a long stare with Draupadi after she tells them that she won't leave them... Absolutely romantic. 6. Vastraharan obviously... However one thing I loved the most in that was Bheem's acting. I for once forgot it was an actor and I was engrossed into believing that Bheem himself is on the screen. He was so enraged, and the way he was disoriented, weeping, helpless- I couldn't be anymore convinced that this big man has feelings. Chef's kiss... 7. Keechak Vadh.... It was too good. 8. Shanti Prastav.... That was perhaps SRJ's moment of glory. Although he carried the persona of Lord Krishna throughout the series, however even more than Geeta Saar, I felt the divinity shine through him when he was debating with the kauravas. The way he glared at Duryodhan- goosebumps.... There was another scene when he did the same, it was Shishupala vadh. Its kinda creepy to watch him lose his temper and be genuinely angry. So yah, I felt the POWER of Lord Krishna permeate through the screen when he was blasting all the chatacters during the Shanti Prastaav. 9. The scene where Arjun and Duryodhan visit Lord Krishna for his army. Before that Duryodhan and Balram have a wrestling match and Arjun arrives a little late to seek alliance. Balram was furious and he decided that Dwarka will be neutral in the war. Arjun explains solemnly that their side was being disregarded, but Balram furiously replies "Dyut sabha mein yuvraj duryodhan se bada adharm Samrat Yudhisthir ne kiya tha. Apni patni ko daanw par lagaya. Apne BHAIYON ko daanw par lagaya. Weh hota hai sabse bada adharm. Itna hone ke baad bhi jab unse puchha gaya kya unhe apne ap par garv hai? Tab we uth sakte the. Par unhe apne dharm par ahankar ho gaya. Aur jab kisiko apne dharm par ahankar hota hai, tab usse keval adharm hota hai." I love this whole sequence, well upto when Arjun demand's Krishna to be on their side, even when he coudnt give him the army.... 10. Karn-Kunti Samvaad. I think it was one of the most emotional scenes ever. A wonderful recreation of this iconic scene. Its one of those episodes which can be sold stand-alone... You wouldn't need a context for the scene, you are plain aware of what's going to happen. Aham Sharma and Shafaq Naaz put their soul into this scene and its truly iconic. 11. Krishna's one on one samvaad with Bheeshma and Drona. They are so practical and powerful. I often go back to them for seeking answers of day-to-day life. 12. The time when Shakuni invites Krishna for a game of dice. After the bunch of heavy intense drama, we loved some hilarity. Shakuni mama against Krishna, has always been fun to watch. 13. Gandhari's shraap. That poor woman deserved an outburst and its great that you all put it that way. Reeya Deepsi did a phenomenal job in portraying the rage of a mother who lost her kids. I believe Krishna's that dialogue (which is word to word taken from the epic BTW) is the real meaning of God. Its the basis of self-realization. One who understands it, reaches enlightenment. That's what Krishna was- everything- from joy to sorrow, from rage to punishment, from good to evil- God is everything. God rejoices victory of dharma, and silently endures all the sadness of the world. The show ends with that and I absolutely adore this show. I agree, the star of the show was the writer. Phenomenal work, and truly great effort by all actors. Thank you so much SKT, for bringing this show to us. Keep doing these podcasts every few months. We love some Behind the Scenes and we'll always love our actors, creators, writers- the whole team behind this magnanimous series.... P.S. a couple of scenes do come to my mind which are not as big but still quite wholesome. One scene was when Bheeshma was disappointed and furious at the Pandavas for marrying the same girl. At that time Draupadi visits Bheeshma and has a long conversation. That was a very wonderful scene I must say. And another was when Bheeshma feels defeated after witnessing his nation being divided. He visits Ganga's shore and asks "kiska dharm patit hua hai". At that time he was visited by Shikhandini. I loved that whole scene with Ratan Rajput's cameo. Her as Amba and then changing into Shikhandini- I believe it was technically brilliant. Also the dialogues were heavy. I still remember how Amba/Shikhandi promises to come to him when he will be dragged to hell by the stupid throne. She had so much hatred against, it was fabulous what Ratan achieved in her short role. Also now that I remember, Dronacharya's revenge was also a technically and artistically brilliant episode. The way the camera moves and then flashback comes, with the music and everything- fabulous. I think that episode can be standalone. You can sell the series based off of these episodes on an international forum....
To count on some more, like :- 1) Abhimanyu 's death sequence. 2) When Krishna comes to console Draupadi after the Cheer Haran sequence and she says... "Mujhse door rahiye Govind, main ab maleen ho chuki hu." 3) When Draupadi says that she doesn't want a war if it costs life of all her sons. And Krishna lays emphasis that it was all already destined to be that way.
Saurabh was a RJ before coming to television and I used to listen to his morning stories and that was too about Dharmik stories ❤ and use to love that. After that when I saw him as krishna his voice reminded me that I know this person and after googling it I found that he hosted a radio show with the name Arth with Saurabh Raaj Jain in 92.7 big fm. God bless all you actors who gave us such meaningful messages through Mahabharat and that last lines of Krishna is such a gem. God bless you all❤

Whenever I feel lost I see these Mahabharata selected episodes... The whole series watched more than 7 times + live on channel... It is the best which our generation got.... These guys were that good that even today if someone tells me to think about characters... These faces reflect automatically

My 5 year old daughter(now 11) and 10 yr old son absolutely loved this version of Mahabharat and still binge on it from time to time. Amazed why they liked it so much with no pushing from our side. It shows how well the actors performed that children were moved. How can we thank all of you who made it! You made our jobs as parents so much easier,immersing our children in our rich heritage! May Lord Krishna shower his blessings on all of you!

Yes, that was the first Mahabharata I viewed. This was pushed forward directly-indirectly by divine grace. This masterpiece needed to be brought forward and it came. How beautifully every artist brought the character on table is just marvelous, magnificent, mesmerizing, outstanding…..the attributes to add to the list to appreciate is endless.
What a roundtable! Shaheer Sourabh Arav Pooja Rohit Saurav and host SKT talked with so much clarity and confidence is what moved me the most! The fun , laughter , backstories have my all heart. It was a legendary show. That time I was only 13 and used to love the show. My whole family would sit together to watch the show. what a memory. I have learnt a lot of things about life from the show.

Mahabharat was truly EPIC🔥 and I feel it's bcoz of the People who Onscreen played their role brilliantly, and also who were off camera did their job so well. Again saying that the casting was perfect. Krishna, Yudhisthir, Arjun, Bheem, karn, Duryodhan and My fav ones are Draupadi and shakuni Mama. They both were FABULOUS. I think one thing that is seriously underrated about this show and wasn't talked about or addressed or appreciated enough in this round table meet is the title music and the entire background music score in each and every sequence.
Alongwith the magnificent writing of the show....the background score was equally contributing to the goosebumps that we still have whenever we rewatch. It created and held the entire vibe of each scene!

Hats off to the makers of Mahabharat. I truly salute you for making such an epic show, which will remain in everyone's heart till eternity. Ten years back I don't know how but I guess my conscience told me to watch this show and God knows how many times I have re-watched it in hotstar. I have just lost the counting now. First I'll say is the cast, hats off to the makers for selecting one hell of a cast that no one I repeat no one can replace. I don't think anyone else could have justified the roles like This Cast has done. Even after watching it for so many times yet I get emotional whenever I hear the soundtrack of Mahabharat. I have watched many shows in my life from daily soaps to mythological shows but I have never heard such a soundtrack before. It's a masterpiece. Now coming to the main point, one of the main reasons why I am so much in love with this show is because of Draupadi and Arjun. Yes it is true from the starting onwards I don't know why but I have always shipped that couple and seeing Pooja and Shaheer as Draupadi and Arjun, I just couldn't stop shipping them. But yes the scenes that you showed between Arjun and Draupadi, I can't describe how perfectly you have described each and every scene so beautifully and that soundtrack of them, uffff what can I say. I have heard many romantic soundtrack but never like this. This soundtrack of Draupadi and Arjun is purely magical. It is something so divine that it actually feels as if it is god's own sound. This sound purely is a surreal feeling to the ears. It is divine. Thank you so much skt sir for making this Mahabharat and bringing it into our lives.

swastik productions has no doubt taken a lot of efforts to select the best actors, dialogues, set, songs and costumes to make the best of mahabharat, making it one of the most memorable mahabharat after B.R. Chopra's mahabharat. One of the best part i loved were the dialogues choosen that were really imapactful and respectful as compared to today's top budget religious films.
I recently got to know costumes for this show were designed by Bhanu Athaiyya, the Oscar winning costume designer who also designed costumes for Amrapali, Gandhi, Lagaan etc. When I got to know I was like “tabhi… tabhi costumes looked so amazing in the show”. Really. I loved the styling of all the characters.

One of my most favorite serial on Mahabharat. I have lot of issues with the storyline but the dialogues written for various scenes were so extraordinary that it felt like the scene really exists in the Mahabharat.
I love the portrayal of 'Draupadi' by Pooja Sharma. She is One of the finest actress I have ever seen. Saurav Gurjar played Bheem briliantly. I genuinely felt many times that his portryal of Bheem was close to the descriptions given in the Mahabharat. Other actors too were excellent.
We want Shaheer and pooja as lead in a show. And shaheer, pooja and saurabh in one show. ❤️

OMG!! I cant just tell how useful this serial has been in my life. I used to watch in daily during my school days , Iam from a non Hindi speaking Northeastern state and through this i learnt speaking good "shudh Hindi". Won a cluster level Chinmaya Bhagwad Gita chanting competition. And now, In UPSC journey, it helps me a lot in understanding and visualising the chapters in Ancient History. I cant thank this show enough for helping the little me so much, in so many ways. Love u all.

How Shaheer welled up while speaking about the impact the show had on him and how it changed him as a person and the respect and responsibility he felt for the iconic character of Arjun, the tears in his eyes whilst talking about it says it all! Truly, he didn't 'do' the Arjun role, none of the actors 'did', it was divine intervention that extracted the performance out of them.

We need a part 2 of this reunion with the other cast members as well. Every single one of them were brilliant. I have read Mahabharat many times, watched the old show as well, but this show exceeded all my expectations. The lessons in each episode touched my soul. Krishna, Draupadi, Arjun, Shakuni all characters were brilliantly written & acted. I don't think another Mahabharat series can be attempted in near future and if it is, it'd be a huge challenge for them to surpass this show. I have so many memories associated with this show as well, of watching it everyday, of discussing it with friends. It's a big part of my life. Thank you for making this.

It is really shocking to know it was her 1st show but she nailed the character of draupadi❤ and how beautifully she answered that question she is good both as an artist and a human being.❤
This case is literally the best .. Krishna, Draupadi, Bheesm, Shakuni, Dhritrashtra, Arjun, Kunti, Matsyagandha Samrat, Bheem, Tau everyone chosen so carefully. I can literally see them today as their characters despite of their western clothing.. That’s the power of acting . This Mahabharata was literally the BEST 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Btw Mahabharat changed me totally from atheist to theist. It started with a vlog of mumbaikar nikhil in which he said I always watch krishna vani, so I searched for it and btw that was a really bad phase in my life breakup, family issues etc. but when krishna enters everything starts to change.really krishna vani changed me. And then I decided to watch Mahabharat full, and the rest is history,the world's best show which will be me till death 🙏, Thank you sir for making it 😊. It will guide our youth 🪔.
As a Chennai guy, idk if they will ever get to know about the impact the series had on almost all states including TAMIL NADU thanks to the impressive dubbing done by DUBBING ARTISTS especially KRISHNA VA who is now is a regular in other TV SERIALS atm in TAMIL but yes this series can't be recreated even in a MOVIE

I am not sure if producers or any of the actors read viewers comments, but from bottom of my heart I want to thank you all making this masterpiece. This show can not be compared, replaced or remade in centuries. I have watched it multiple times, but want to watch it again and again, every single frame shows how much of a efforts everyone has taken to bring the show to this level of popularity. Every character deserves the audience love and appreciation. I enjoyed watching this round table. Waiting for more such conversations and your experiences. Thanks.
I have watched this show so many times that now I recite the dialogue along with the characters, I am watching it right now too and honestly I have lost count of the number of times Mahabharat is playing on my TV and all I can say is no matter how many times you watch it, no matter from which scene or from which episode you start watching it - you can never get bored! It is always as fresh as the first time and I connect with it even more deeply each time. BR Chopra's Mahabharat was undoubtedly a masterpiece but this show has captured our hearts in ways that can't be explained. Never seen such a streamlined historical show (Of course other than Devo Ke Dev Mahadev). All the love and respect to every single person who gave his/her best to make this show a cinematic masterpiece. I will keep on watching this with the same level of interest even when I have kids and will surely show them too! Pranipat🙏
Aisi mahabharat na pehli bani thi naa aage ban payegi . I can proudly say that , this is the masterpiece created during my era
The Game of Dice sequence was the most artistically brilliant scene of all time. Every actor- be it the Pandavas- Bheem, Arjun, Yudhisthir, Nakul- Sahdev (right from where Sahdev said "Bhrata Bheem, bura samay usi ko kehte hai jab adhar ke liye jis rassi ko pakda jaaye, wahi sarp nikle. Mujhe bhay hai kadachit aj sab maun rahe..." to the point where Krishna consoles Draupadi when she had shut herself up in a room), be it Duryodhan, Shakuni, Karna, Bheeshm, Dhritarashtra, Kunti, Gandhari... All people came and gave their best.
The other few underrated scenes which I absolutely love are:
1. Gandhari's wedding (I still brawl my eyes out when Kripacharya says "Rajkumari Gandhari ne bhi ek Bheeshm pratigya li hai...)
2. Gandhari's difficult pregnancy and her abusive relationship with Dhritarashtra, to the point when he chooses to sleep with her maid, abandoning her in disdain and pure agony after which she hits her stomach. That scene is extremely triggering to watch. Every woman in this world must have cried unconsolably.
3. Draupadi's birth
4. Draupadi's dharm-sankat, when she finally decides to wed the five pandavas. She and Krishna share a wonderful conversation, not before Krishna reminding Dhrupad that he was the one who prayed for miseries in her fate.
5. That tiny scene when Bheem shares a long stare with Draupadi after she tells them that she won't leave them... Absolutely romantic.
6. Vastraharan obviously... However one thing I loved the most in that was Bheem's acting. I for once forgot it was an actor and I was engrossed into believing that Bheem himself is on the screen. He was so enraged, and the way he was disoriented, weeping, helpless- I couldn't be anymore convinced that this big man has feelings. Chef's kiss...
7. Keechak Vadh.... It was too good.
8. Shanti Prastav.... That was perhaps SRJ's moment of glory. Although he carried the persona of Lord Krishna throughout the series, however even more than Geeta Saar, I felt the divinity shine through him when he was debating with the kauravas. The way he glared at Duryodhan- goosebumps.... There was another scene when he did the same, it was Shishupala vadh. Its kinda creepy to watch him lose his temper and be genuinely angry. So yah, I felt the POWER of Lord Krishna permeate through the screen when he was blasting all the chatacters during the Shanti Prastaav.
9. The scene where Arjun and Duryodhan visit Lord Krishna for his army. Before that Duryodhan and Balram have a wrestling match and Arjun arrives a little late to seek alliance. Balram was furious and he decided that Dwarka will be neutral in the war. Arjun explains solemnly that their side was being disregarded, but Balram furiously replies "Dyut sabha mein yuvraj duryodhan se bada adharm Samrat Yudhisthir ne kiya tha. Apni patni ko daanw par lagaya. Apne BHAIYON ko daanw par lagaya. Weh hota hai sabse bada adharm. Itna hone ke baad bhi jab unse puchha gaya kya unhe apne ap par garv hai? Tab we uth sakte the. Par unhe apne dharm par ahankar ho gaya. Aur jab kisiko apne dharm par ahankar hota hai, tab usse keval adharm hota hai."
I love this whole sequence, well upto when Arjun demand's Krishna to be on their side, even when he coudnt give him the army....
10. Karn-Kunti Samvaad. I think it was one of the most emotional scenes ever. A wonderful recreation of this iconic scene. Its one of those episodes which can be sold stand-alone... You wouldn't need a context for the scene, you are plain aware of what's going to happen. Aham Sharma and Shafaq Naaz put their soul into this scene and its truly iconic.
11. Krishna's one on one samvaad with Bheeshma and Drona. They are so practical and powerful. I often go back to them for seeking answers of day-to-day life.
12. The time when Shakuni invites Krishna for a game of dice. After the bunch of heavy intense drama, we loved some hilarity. Shakuni mama against Krishna, has always been fun to watch.
13. Gandhari's shraap. That poor woman deserved an outburst and its great that you all put it that way. Reeya Deepsi did a phenomenal job in portraying the rage of a mother who lost her kids. I believe Krishna's that dialogue (which is word to word taken from the epic BTW) is the real meaning of God. Its the basis of self-realization. One who understands it, reaches enlightenment. That's what Krishna was- everything- from joy to sorrow, from rage to punishment, from good to evil- God is everything. God rejoices victory of dharma, and silently endures all the sadness of the world.
The show ends with that and I absolutely adore this show. I agree, the star of the show was the writer. Phenomenal work, and truly great effort by all actors. Thank you so much SKT, for bringing this show to us. Keep doing these podcasts every few months. We love some Behind the Scenes and we'll always love our actors, creators, writers- the whole team behind this magnanimous series....
P.S. a couple of scenes do come to my mind which are not as big but still quite wholesome.
One scene was when Bheeshma was disappointed and furious at the Pandavas for marrying the same girl. At that time Draupadi visits Bheeshma and has a long conversation. That was a very wonderful scene I must say. And another was when Bheeshma feels defeated after witnessing his nation being divided. He visits Ganga's shore and asks "kiska dharm patit hua hai". At that time he was visited by Shikhandini. I loved that whole scene with Ratan Rajput's cameo. Her as Amba and then changing into Shikhandini- I believe it was technically brilliant. Also the dialogues were heavy. I still remember how Amba/Shikhandi promises to come to him when he will be dragged to hell by the stupid throne. She had so much hatred against, it was fabulous what Ratan achieved in her short role.
Also now that I remember, Dronacharya's revenge was also a technically and artistically brilliant episode. The way the camera moves and then flashback comes, with the music and everything- fabulous. I think that episode can be standalone. You can sell the series based off of these episodes on an international forum....
To count on some more, like :-
1) Abhimanyu 's death sequence.
2) When Krishna comes to console Draupadi after the Cheer Haran sequence and she says... "Mujhse door rahiye Govind, main ab maleen ho chuki hu."
3) When Draupadi says that she doesn't want a war if it costs life of all her sons. And Krishna lays emphasis that it was all already destined to be that way.

Saurabh was a RJ before coming to television and I used to listen to his morning stories and that was too about Dharmik stories ❤ and use to love that. After that when I saw him as krishna his voice reminded me that I know this person and after googling it I found that he hosted a radio show with the name Arth with Saurabh Raaj Jain in 92.7 big fm. God bless all you actors who gave us such meaningful messages through Mahabharat and that last lines of Krishna is such a gem. God bless you all❤

My 5 year old daughter(now 11) and 10 yr old son absolutely loved this version of Mahabharat and still binge on it from time to time. Amazed why they liked it so much with no pushing from our side. It shows how well the actors performed that children were moved. How can we thank all of you who made it! You made our jobs as parents so much easier,immersing our children in our rich heritage! May Lord Krishna shower his blessings on all of you!

I loved loved Mahabharata...Initially I was skeptical and did not see the show...I started seeing it after being fan of Shaheer and then realized what I missed..but universe has it ways to help. This came to me when I needed the most and completed the series in b2b episodes!!...awesomely made..Pray the divine be with you always!!

Yes, that was the first Mahabharata I viewed. This was pushed forward directly-indirectly by divine grace. This masterpiece needed to be brought forward and it came. How beautifully every artist brought the character on table is just marvelous, magnificent, mesmerizing, outstanding…..the attributes to add to the list to appreciate is endless.
What a roundtable! Shaheer Sourabh Arav Pooja Rohit Saurav and host SKT talked with so much clarity and confidence is what moved me the most! The fun , laughter , backstories have my all heart.

I have seen this whole serial more than 50 times during these years. This is the best presentation I have liked so most. Every character has been shown legendary .

Even the lines and even the editors and team like when arav bymistake said writing part to Siddharth (he also did a lot in writing) but the editor also mentioned the actual names of writers (like such a huge respect to them) they didn't even like to just ignore small parts and this small line! This quality also makes this show and Team Special in my life!

I have seen Mahabharat 3 times and continue watching 4th times......and I never bored whenever I watched this incredible show and I am really very curious to know what happened behind the scenes.....and it was beautifully played the all characters as Saurav as Bheem, Pooja as Panchali , Rohit as Yudhisthira and Sourav as lord Krishna it was incredible..... And this show gave the correct message to the society. I am proud to be an Hindu and watching this show in my generation.
It was a legendary show. That time I was only 13 and used to love the show. My whole family would sit together to watch the show. what a memory. I have learnt a lot of things about life from the show.

Mahabharat was truly EPIC🔥 and I feel it's bcoz of the People who Onscreen played their role brilliantly, and also who were off camera did their job so well. Again saying that the casting was perfect. Krishna, Yudhisthir, Arjun, Bheem, karn, Duryodhan and My fav ones are Draupadi and shakuni Mama. They both were FABULOUS. Draupadi ki Casting late hui par BEST hui. Really a Masterpiece made in Indian Television ❤️✨
