I have never seen or watched a perfect step by step video I really appreciate it
Thank you. I appreciate it!
Great video. A simple thing like turning the wheels to get better access to the bracket bolts was a game changer.
👍👊
Excellent DIY video! I performed the same repair today with Napa premium rotors and ceramic pads. The parts cost $130.00 (after my $20 coupon) and 1.5 hours of my time, but would have cost $400 at a local auto repair shop. That's like making money!
Thank you. A few dollars saved makes a difference.
Nice video, I always tells my kids learn how to do a brake job and oil change on their vehicles. Just these 2 things alone will save them bunch of cash.
So true! especially the labor is going up on oil change and brake jobs
Thank you for showing the correct pin placement when putting these back in! Everyone else just says, "Just push em back in" and skips the details.
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much. I learned everything I needed to know so tomorrow I am going to perform the same job on my car. Great video!!!!🙏
You are very welcome
That bolt was TIGHT, LOL!! Can you believe that I still DON'T have the Earthquake cordless, I have to get one for the van. Great tip on cleaning the old clips, and I think we have the same wire brushes, I got my set from Harbor Freight. WAIT! Where's your Q-Tips for the 007, lol?
THAT WAS SO COOL video editing with the little window showing the other side, I have to try that! Great job and explanation Hector, really great job!
I have to put some Q-Tips in my car. I always forget. lol. I should have used the Earthquake on those bolts to see if it was able to take them out.
That would have been a good test for the Earthquake, maybe on the next brake job.
nice job, picture in picture. another good video hector.
Thank you my friend!
Just watches your vid..great DIY and informative...I laughed when the brush broke, same thing happen to me
🤦🏻♂️
Good video. I came over from Astral Auto to watch.
Thank you my friend. I appreciate it.
Thank you for teaching me how.
You’re so very welcome 🔧👍🏼
Thank you for this video, they asked me $ 1200 for 4 brake pads and rotors, I ain't a super cheap guy but that seems excessive.
You are welcome!
@@NoneMechanic101 if you don't mind me to ask. I saw that the fluid reservoir is basically empty, i haven't filled it since I started working from home in 2020. I bought 2 12oz dot 3 fluid refilled but when I pour it does not go down...any idea of what it can be?
@@nicolapansini5656 The reservoir has to be filled to the line. It only goes down after constantly using the brake pads. If you filled it and the reservoir gets empty right away. There’s a leak somewhere.
@@NoneMechanic101 correct but in my case it is empty and when I pour the fluid in, it stays on the top, doesn't do down...
Thank you so much for this video. You helped out so much!
You're so very welcome
Great video. Thought the pin with the little hook was supposed to go in behind the caliper.
Good call!
Good job. Good video and explanation.
Thanks!
I know I’m 5 years late but can you make a list of all the tools needed?!
Great video. Thank you sir.
You're so very welcome🔧👍
Great vid
Thank you
Appreciate chu bro 💯💪🏾
Thank you
Best tutorial !
Wow, thanks!
Great video!
Thanks!
Good vid
Thank you!
Why the brake reservoir have to be open when pumping the brakes at the end of installation?
The reason why I do it is because if the reservoir is closed it can brake the reservoir also the brake line because of the pressure.
@@NoneMechanic101,thanks .. I just change out my 2011 Maxima front and rear pads and rotors over the weekend and i had the top close when I was pumping the brakes to get the piston back in position... Good to know to keep the top off for future reference..👍
@@mikal9624 I'm glad everything worked out. Good job!
Love the video thanks for the step by step. What is the spray that you used to clean the rotor?
Brake cleaner. Thank you👍👍
I just subscribed.
Thank you!
Thank you very much. I've changed my brakes before and now I think I can do the rotors. What do you call that spray you used to clean with?
Brake Cleaner
@@NoneMechanic101 thanks
Is there any possible way you can list the tools and sizes you used? Attempting to change mine this week for the first time…
I didn't mention them in the video?
Ok so the title says Nissan Altima and at the end of the video you say Nissan maxima. Which one is it? I have a Nissan Altima
Nissan Altima. Sorry about that
Probably a dumb question.. but do all 4 tires on Nissan altimas have brake pads & rotors?
There is no such thing as dump question. I'm not sure but the ones I worked on had rotors and brake pads. I don't know about dis brake
@@NoneMechanic101 how different is the process for the rear brakes???
@@LA_Native It depends. But in this car is almost the same. The only thing is that the brake pads are smaller
🔥🔥
👍
Is the maxima same is Altima ?
Cause the video says Altima then at the end you said maxima 😂😂
@@babiitee2304 nope. My bad
@@NoneMechanic101 so it’s a whole different process for an Altima?
@@babiitee2304 This is a Altima. I made a mistake by saying Maxima
@@NoneMechanic101 okay thank you so much ❤️
How come other ppl put the ears down? 🤔
🤔
altima or maxima
Sorry about that. Altima
@@NoneMechanic101 he he he I thought there's something wrong with my eyes
There is no 2015 Nissan Maxima
Holy Cow you are absolutely correct. This is 2015 Nissan Altima.
