Ordered the Ulanzi from AMZN. Bounces right off on the bike when you hit a bump or try to bunnyhop. I doubt snapmounts would fare any better. I'd say either one is not great for action sports. Going to return them and try the Ulanzi quick release mounts.
@timtimzi What mount did you use when riding the bike? Chest Mount with Lanyard? Does the front plate come off the inside plate or does it slide down your shirt/upper? How to hear from you.

I was looking for this video. I have ordered for an original Snapmount thinking the N52 magnets would be better than the N20 on ulanzi. Then i heard a few reviews that the Snapmount thumbscrew is fragile. Did you feel so? How's ulanzi?
Its too early to tell for Ulanzi. I have no problem with the snapmount thumbscrew. But on the snapmount, the adhesive on the magnet becomes loose from the body, so disengaging it becomes problematic at times
@@SNAPMounts you are seriously reaching under everywhere whenever we type Snapmount. Lol. Well, I'm from India, bought your pride Snapmount through a friend in the US named Thejeswar. It took almost a month or more for the mount to reach me through him. Incredible innovation. So far no issues. So even if the thumbscrew breaks, it's not easy for me to send it back from India nor for you to replace. Anyway, I'll ask if i need help. My suggestion is to keep the magnets a bit more safer (if possible encapsulated in plastic (that may reduce the strength I know). Because the glued sticker on the magnet slightly moves. Another suggestion is to add a 1/4 universal female thread somewhere on it. So that we can quickly mount the entire set up onto a crab clamp or any mount for the places where no magnetic surface is available. Good job . Dr.Sreeraj
@@EbsImagination i have snap mounts and it's garbage for the price. 2 of them the magnets came off and 1 the ears broke upon lighly trying to put on a mount,... so i rather go with ULANZI for the price. Inboxed snap mounts and gave me a lame excuse.. the out of warranty and i mishandled.. pfff c'mon bro you know your crap is china made and suks.
I wish i can post photos here and show you what happened to my snap mounts and what they wrote back to me . Ulanzi i see half the price and does the same job now. all same plastic .
nice compare. It’s helpful, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
do they have the same amount of magnet power?
Yes they do, same magnet power
yes and half the price. buy ULANZI,,, trust me
Does this have stronger magnets than the Snapmount?
It is just as strong
amazon review shows a picture of the Ulanzi not being able to close all the way with a Hero 7 due to it hitting the arm.
Может . Есть маленький переходник
the adapter has the interface going in the wrong side. it's useless for mounting on head or wrist. I wish it were in the middle like snap mounts.
Probably so they don’t get into a litigation

I agree. I made a video before this one playing tennis, not as I expected

So I'm guessing this product is discontinued, eh?
Both are still selling currently. Alibaba should have it or aliexpress
