This was from a pilot that didn't get picked up called Those Were the Days. They spoofed a lot of things from America's past and the result was hilarious.

What a hoot and fun to see and hear. I had those style shirts with different color pockets, collars, cuffs, sleeves, and even pants styled with different color pockets and legs back in the late 60s and early 70s...nothing could've been more mod and off the wall for us young folks who were rising to conquer the world in our opinions! ...Thanks for adding this video clip and so many others bringing back a sense of history filled with fun and even the depths of reality happening in our country here in the USA which seemed to encompass the world. ...The King Family still reigns as royalty.

There is a video of the King Sisters- don't know what year or episode- but they talk about being influenced so strongly by the Boswell Sisters and three of them break into "Sing a Little Jingle." I've never seen the footage but heard an audio recording of the TV show. Any chance you have that and that you could upload that? Thanks for sharing these great shows with us!

According to my friend David McCain (who helped write the Boswell Sisters biography), the clip in question came from a Hollywood Palace performance where the King Sisters talked about their years with the Big bands and their early influence. Do you have that show perhaps?
