Bro. I just want to say I REALLY appreciate your channel. The effort and information you put in your videos are top notch. I not only learn about the ball i want, but I also get a good bit of information that helps my game. Thank you Luke
Awesome videos watch them all to see ball reactions on the new stuff. Just curious what camera do you use thats on the tripod in the video with the screen open. Thanks appreciate it
Keeps giving me reality check and polished reality vibes, really interesting ball trying to figure out if its a ball down form the x-cell or just a different shape only Excellent vid as always sir!
I was strongly considering an X-Cell (because I wanted an Alpha Crux and that's super close), but it seems to me the Origin drives harder on the back (is more continuous). I have a Reality (my Reality Check really drives though when it matches up with the condition) and Super Nova, and while those aren't probably as close, they're examples of balls I have I can't get to really continue through the pins with my lower rev rate.
Was Zach happy with the pin down choice in stead of pin up? Im thinking of going pin down since i have a pin up HRP. If it doesn work i might need to just get an attention star to fill the slot 😅
Everyone talks about importance of breaking a bowling ball in by throwing it several times. This confuses me. A solid at 1000 grit will go to 4700 after several games. A pearl with 5500 will go to 4700 after several games. Is this the objective for most bowlers, as I don’t see many bowlers resurface balls on a regular basis. I love my hazmat solid out of box surface. After it grits up a lot, my game drops. I have to have my PSO clean it back to surface condition. My BW 2.0 was horrible for me until my PSO suggest I add polish to surface and now it works for me as number 2 ball. So I guess my question is does doing these cleaning changes to my balls every time they grit up or down hurt the longevity of these bowling balls in any way? Thanks.
Factory polish makes the ball a little too over under for a lot of people. So they will change the surface right out of the gate to get rid of that factory polish. But if it works well for you, there’s no reason to change it. and there are no long-term ramifications for changing the surface. I have an IQ tour that I have polished up and sanded down many many times and it’s still performs.
Nope, actually helps the longevity if you take care of it. I keep trying to drive home the importance of surface to people but it doesn't seem like too many people listen. I'd say keep doing what you're doing
I find the same thing . I have immensely improved my game through surface management. I try to tell people i know how easy it is. But most are afraid to do it. We can only lead the hoarse to water but we can't make them drink. Keep up your great work best informative videos out there. ukeRosdahl
Nah, this is actually somewhat of a ball up. Stronger core plus stronger cover, you'd be looking more at something like the Attention Star to be the step down.
@@LukeRosdahl ahh gotcha. These ever changing 900 global covers are confusing lol. Will definitely look into the Attention Star. Would the Road Warrior be an option in that spot as well?
Well, 900 Global tried to get an "origin" story out one ball and tried to go "Harsh" on the new Reality ball over the summer. Both look good on their own rights.

This is hands down the besting bowling ball channel on you tube!!! I subscribe to many, and Luke is most informative.
this Ball from Zacks hand makes this pattern look like a house shot.. :D

Old camcorder that I've used for a while, but it's really great. Sony FDR-AX43 I think is what it is.

It's actually a ball up from the X-Cell at the same surface, the cover on the Origin is quite a bit stronger.

Yeah, sounds like you like the stronger cover stuff better, so might go that direction instead of the X-Cell and just knock the polish off.
What ball would you recommend I should get next if I have an exotic gem and a top thrill?
Probably something in between them, something like the Ebonite Real Time would be a great one to stick in there.

Yeah he really likes this one.

What's his reasoning to make it pin down? As most of his pearl asyms were pin up?
Really strong dynamic asym and he doesn't need any help getting the ball to move, so he did that to take the edge off the ball reaction so to speak.
Would this be a good ball down from the Eternity Pi?

Road Warrior is a couple balls down, definitely quite a bit weaker than the Star.
