I did the glue mix formula and really like it! The second sanding is what I have not done and will from now on. I also found that if you wait a few minutes before rubbing it works even better.
I use Martin’s Mix with an applicator. Sand to four hundred grit then burnish with canvas. For a super glass edge I resand with 600 then burnish. Like Ron’s the Martin’s doesn’t like a burnishing wheel. Canvas is much faster and leaves a better finish.
I literally was just searching for your Elmers glue and water mixture through your other videos that you had mentioned it on and now you go ahead and make a video awesome 👏🏼 😂 🙌🏼👍🏼
Great video. If I wanted to dye the edge...should I dye before I apply the glue solution...or do you think the dye goes last after the burnishing/sanding is done?
Sup Aaron great job on the leather edges how come you sand it and did not lick the leather just asking Aaron did you use edge magic on your leather Aaron? have a great day today Aaron and Janie Sue and Marsha and doc My friends!🇺🇸
We can always count on you for some simple tips and tricks as well as the harder stuff. It is appreciated mate thank you
I've never heard of Elmer's and water! I'll definitely try this. 👍

Yes, I meant to cover that. I dye my edge after the first sanding and using the edger.
The watch band Aaron is wearing is there a video for it. That looks amazing

Grade school with your boogies! LMAO I’m going to try this!
Thanks!
For some reason I never get any notifications from UA-cam that you have put out a new video.
It's not enough to subscribe any more, now you have to click the bell button too and then it will notify you I believe.
One question... Do you ever use Edge Kote?
Not a fan of edge kote
Where do you get the sanding drum/wheel for the machine?
It comes with the machine. Leather Machine Co sells other grits as well.
So I guess that your glue mix also seals the edge? No wax needed?
Correct.
If you dont mind me asking, which leather did you use for the interior of that project?
Buck Brown harness from Wickett-Craig
What kind of Elmer’s glue
Just regular ol school glue
What grade sanding wheel or sand paper do we use
220 is the wheel I start with
How do you choose when to use the Elmer's mix versus tokenole versus Ron's?
@@davidjenks7392 Honestly, I use whichever is closest to me when I need it. Ha ha ha

I used a mixture of glue and water
Glad I didn’t share a desk with you in grade school 😂
I'd have been very respectful with my boogie placement. I'm a gentleman. Ha ha ha
