It's funny cause a couple of the real life counter parts of the Alleghany did have boiler explosions. One of them was so powerful it sent the entire boiler flying to a near by river. Alleghanies also did mainly pull coal trains up slopes so that's a bonus. Keep up the work, fan since 2018! :>
Frantic next time you do this please read the discription on how to operate the train and turn off natural disasters. Other than that it was a great video.☺
@@FranticMatty I have it downloaded and I jumped out while it was moving so I need a vtol to attach to it and slow it down same with the queen of ralis and just wanna tell you the wheels on it or bugging out when I go to fast
that looks like its based off of 4014 or "Big Boy" which was the largest steam engine ever created, restored shortly before 2020 and still roams down near Texas, its truly a beast
Steam engines have a pressure release valve that keeps the boiler from exploding from overpressure What causes the boiler explosion is when the boiler has low water level and the water moves away from the crown sheeting causing it to heat up and when water comes in contact with the over heated crown sheeting it instantly changes to gas causing a massive pressure increase that the pressure valves can't cope with causing an explosion
Wow, did she really? That's incredible! Do you know if there's any footage of that anywhere? I spend a lot of time at The Henry Ford and I knew that they had to expand the back doors to get it into the museum, but I never knew she arrived under her own power!
the Allegheny class was a 2-6-6-6 mallet built for the Chesapeake And Ohio Railroad by the Lima Locomotive Works in 1941. also, btw, don't say "2 by 6 by 6 by 6". just say "two six six six". and those are coal hoppers.
Hey frantic! Whenever it’s nighttime in you storm works videos, it’s very every hard to see anything. I know UA-cam makes things darker, and your screen might also just be brighter in general, but if you can, try and find out any ways you can make the screen brighter on UA-cam.
that's how it is in all recording programs and those of us who know about it try not to record or stream during dark times in a game for a long time. :)
Hmm. I can't tell if this looks more like union Pacific's big boy or Norfolk And Western's class A or another union Pacific locomotive. A challenger. Or is it the same as the big boy but named a challenger?. Actually what is this
The coal load is nowhere near the amount of coal cars that C&O engine can pull in real life I have a HO scale model of it and have read a lot about them
Frantic please do ur videos better, read how to use the creations, actually maybe learn how they work, better plan out what ur gonna do in the video and disable natural disasters smh...

Which Allegheny that explode that way?

There was no instructions 😕 and tsunamis are fun :P
Yes

Trains cool dude
that tsunami was so funny, i noticed it at 15:47, and i was just waiting for you to notice xd
that looks like its based off of 4014 or "Big Boy" which was the largest steam engine ever created, restored shortly before 2020 and still roams down near Texas, its truly a beast
EOT is End Of Train so EOT light is End OF Train light generally removed and attached to the last car of a train.
Steam engines have a pressure release valve that keeps the boiler from exploding from overpressure
What causes the boiler explosion is when the boiler has low water level and the water moves away from the crown sheeting causing it to heat up and when water comes in contact with the over heated crown sheeting it instantly changes to gas causing a massive pressure increase that the pressure valves can't cope with causing an explosion
Also the sheet would melt, causing all the water to flash to steam
Ironic that Frantic was pulling a train when I was making a miniature railroad
Edit: EVEN more ironic, I was making a hopper train, like Frantic did
even MORE ironic, one of these locomotives actually did explode in real life
Frantic: are we moving i don't know
Me: seeing it being push back by
the wind
Fun fact, Allegheny 1601 arrived to the Henry Ford Museum under its own steam.
And she is the most photographed thing the museum
Wow, did she really? That's incredible! Do you know if there's any footage of that anywhere? I spend a lot of time at The Henry Ford and I knew that they had to expand the back doors to get it into the museum, but I never knew she arrived under her own power!
Frantic the water injector adds water in to the boiler and the fire then heats the water to make steam to move
Nice vid
EOT means (end of train) there what replaced the train caboose an EOT is a tail light for trains to put it.
Dont say u will hopefully do something
Just say you WILL do that thing.
Be confident yall
“Well the ground mechanism on the locomotive has failed and im about to die in a boiler explosion”
EOT means End Of Train it should be one when no other car behind the tender.
I may be wrong but i think that the real-life version of that train is called (Western Maryland 1309)
Always have more ventilation for the pressure relief.
Frantic actually pronounced it right the first time

also, btw, don't say "2 by 6 by 6 by 6". just say "two six six six". and those are coal hoppers.
Don’t forget the BlueRidge class 2-6-6-6s built for the Virginian Railway
Ah•le•gee•knee
Allegheny moment

it looks like there is an effect applyed
that's how it is in all recording programs and those of us who know about it try not to record or stream during dark times in a game for a long time. :)
HEY THATS A BIG BOY ITS A AMERICAN STEAM LEGEND
Funny enough they almost the same weight as a UP Big boy
You should BUILD a steam train, you heard me right.
Alleghany! There is one in a museum near me
I like how the character literally just pics of a pound of coal in his hand
Coal is actually pretty light as long as it’s not full of moisture
You may remember building a tank to my specifications, can you make a series of viewer specification tanks? ( in sprocket btw )
is the heart a yes or a no?
I’ve pulled 30 cars before which is a lot for storm works but nothing in real life
Can you make some videos on Ultimate Admiral dreadnoughts again
not so fun fact: an allegheny locomotive DID have its boiler expolode in real life. the force was so powerful that the crew in the cab were vaporized.
Frantic some Steam train release steam from two funnel.
English man operates American steam locomotive, instant crown sheet failure
Confirmed we had our fair share of Crown sheet failures
Also i saw the tsunami from the side window
whats the biggest train workbench cause i can load this in?
It is 10 cars including the fuel one
Hmm. I can't tell if this looks more like union Pacific's big boy or Norfolk And Western's class A or another union Pacific locomotive. A challenger. Or is it the same as the big boy but named a challenger?. Actually what is this
i used that loco b4 me and my friend were doing an ' excursion' then he blew it up and killed himself
C&O H-8
EOT=end of train
hey frantic, can you point out how i am to open the research tree in the classic game mode? im pretty stumped man.
Go to the map and click on the vial at the top
Next time how about you test if it works
the EOT light is for signifying End of Train. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End-of-train_device
The boiler hass not exploded its a safty valve activating
The coal load is nowhere near the amount of coal cars that C&O engine can pull in real life I have a HO scale model of it and have read a lot about them
First
Theres no train station i can spawn this
8th like
I am disappointed when I saw "Chesapeake And Ohio" instead of "Norfolk And Western".
N&W never had them, the C&O and virginian were the only two to have them
2-6-6-6 no 6-6-6-2 yes
ben
