Not looking below but I can tell you exactly what it is. It was the LBC Keyed Fletton . Designed specifically for new build internal walls intended to be plastered. The slots on the back were called keys designed to provide...you guessed it a key for new plaster that would otherwise only rely on suction bond. No longer in production now sadly. Stronger than a delicate thermalite block. My house's internal walls all built with them.

I have never had an issue with a customer paying the invoice always fast. Builders on the other hand I’ve waited months so I will only work for 3 local builders that pay fast and can organise a job

I will ask him …. I have about 10 dingers but used a marshalltown on this job. I love the dingers but they wear out so fast spend more time reshaping them on the sander it’s a pain in the backside esp when their nearly 3x the price
@@Theoldbricklayer Everyone agree's about the Dinger. They did look into getting them hardened but not sure if that happened. I grew up using bucket handles so I do love the Dinger, faults and all

Those bricks are called key bricks, the groves where to make plaster key into the brick to keep it bonded on.
