Hi there - thank you for the information on the google meet update. However, I still have trouble presenting and viewing my participants. When I present, I have to switch between the slides and my google meet to maneuver the slides, unlike zoom or webex, where I can click on the slides while I am presenting and view my students. Please help!

yeah, I don't think you can actively present a slideshow and view the meeting participants. The only way is to log-in using two devices or ask someone to keep tabs on your participants. I've assisted for a work training event in my office, and the presenters aren't able to see any of the participants because their screen will only show their presentations (bc if you change tabs / change windows, you can't control the slides anymore), so I have to be there to keep tabs on the participants' attendance or attentiveness.
