ABOUT ALBERTO VILLOLDO
By his mid-20s Alberto Villoldo was the youngest clinical professor at San Francisco State University. He was directing his own laboratory, the Biological Self-Regulation Lab, investigating how energy medicine and visualization could change the chemistry of the brain. Anthropological stories hinted that there were people around the globe who claimed to know such things, including the Inka in Peru, the few remaining "shamans" in today's modern civilization.
For more than 10 years, Alberto Villoldo trained with the jungle medicine people. Along the way, he discovered that his journey into shamanism had actually been guided by his personal desire to become whole. Over the course of two decades with the shamans in the jungles and high mountains of the Andes, Alberto Villoldo would discover that we are more than flesh and bone, that we are absolutely fashioned of Spirit and light.

Thank you again. I was always wondering how it is I could be with loved ones right up to the 'gate' even after they had passed physically. It was such an honour to be with them right up to last before passing from this world. yet I never knew how it was so? It was never deliberated, just happened. Now I know. AHO.
PS: When I was a little girl- I saw the story of Hiawatha and always wanted to be Mini Ha Ha- as I saw her paddling on a crystal stream in nature with the sun glistening all around her. I have always reflected on that as relating to my 'natural state of the soul'. I just checked wiki on spelling - to find that there was a musical symphony created , many art paintings as well as MiniHaha finding a tragic end to her life. I will have to go back and re-find the story. My only memory was of that image in a canoe, that I always yearned for also as a child. Apparently' her name means 'laughing waters', or waterfall- that I relate very deep with also. I love the thought of having an Indian heritage, even if in a past life! Ha.

Is energy healing the same as Reiki? For example, Sadhguru suggests that it's not something that one should play with, as the practitioner can take in the bad!

Nice. Nice... but what about your 10.000 dollar training? Do you think that is ethical? I think it`s symbolic for unprecedented greed. I find the focus on marketing off-putting... sorry I have to say this, but I need to express my truth.
Can I afford that price? No.
Is it worth that price? Yes. Why does everyone want to pay little bit for cheap training? If it is one is desperate for the training I’m sure there are people that do it for almost nothing… do you know that in the original lineages of reiki, the master level is $10,000? Because it is just a trend now, everyone offers to teach it for a loaf of bread.
We must always respect the mystical craft and their priceless value. $10,000 can me made back easily if you have the training to do the work properly.
If it is I want to take such a course I will have discipline and patience enough to manifest the money I need so I can do the course instead of making an issue of the price. But if the ancestors will for me to take on this path one day then their will shall be done.
