Thing is tiger conservation program is picking up.. tiger population has increased so much in india.. and tigers usually don’t live in groups and their territory spans very large area.. so these tigers are likely pushed out from assam reserves in search of new hunting territory..
So tigers if they have found a food source they will likely return again.. and especially if they get a taste of human meat, they will soon become man eaters.
It's us human that are overpopulating. It doesn't even need a 5th grader to figure that one out with the deforestation and urbanization. We're encroaching on their habitat.

Please, for once, be serious and just don't write whatever comes to your mind because you felt like it. We live here and we know exactly what's going on, we're not fools. Stop making assumptions.
We've cattles in the farm which have been attacked, we've people living in these farms looking after the farms.
Remember the last time something similar happened?
It was only a few years ago and because that tiger entered the village and posed a huge threat to the same villagers, they went in groups and killed it. Remember, all the condemnations and insults and words fell upon the innocent villagers.
Human lives are more important than that of animals, as I mentioned earlier, don't make a joke just because you feel like it.

Sure there are tranquilizers and stuff but if no one has accessibility to it and the concerned governmental department did not provide any other means/ means of help, what else do you do? Especially, when the animal is already roaming around the village and by the courtyards/backyards and attacking your cattles and you live just a few steps away from those cattles, what do you do? You are only a piece of meat to that animal and you are next after the cattles. Human instinct is to protect ourselves first.

Don't call names when you do not know how people live here. First - remember it's a village surrounded by forests, second - there's no accessibility to tranquilizer and stuffs, third - there's no means of help from the concerned governmental department, fourth - the animal was already in the village attacking your cattles, fifth - you live only a few steps away from your cattles. There's a lot more I can add but I'll only state these, and now, imagine, it's attacking your cattles and you are only a piece of meat to that animal. Do you think it's not coming for you? Human instinct is to protect ourselves first, CAVEMAN or NOT. They did that, I'll do it if I'm in such a state. Please don't try to tell me otherwise. You don't live here, I don't know if you've lived in a village or not. But unless you've been in such a situation yourself, don't be such a keyboard warrior.

Brother, we agree with your valid points. But this time, please force the forest department to do their real job.
We know the loss and risk associated with this case but we also have to think of the extinction events of these species.
The forest department has to really provide all the necessities to your Village to protect themselves, assist to capture the tiger alive, and finally work on rehabilitation of the captured animal.
Please don't misunderstand. We understand your plight. The last incident where the animal had to be put down wasn't the fault of the people. It was the govt that didn't do their job. Shame on the department and the people in charge of overseeing such cases.

@@invincible____67 From my perspective, it is not always essential to inject humor into serious situations. It may be more beneficial to offer constructive feedback or simply remain silent instead.
Not only dangerous for livestock it also danger for human life too, especially childrens who walk lonely.
We Naga's need lots of self check on reality. Everything and in every matters, we are likely to receive more negative, trolls and spams comments and suggestions and it's a sad things to know that, we tend to popularized those negativity, memes, funny comments rather than the positive thoughts people shares.
We ain't gonna move forward with such mentality and mindsets. Like the wise elderly once said : "When we realised, it will be too late." 👍 Sleeping underneath your parents roof, typing behind a screen isn't giving you any profit.
Same thing happened in my hometown and the culprit was a leopard. I'm not an expert but leopard are common in hilly areas.

Yes there's still a wild animal in that area i have also seen while driving at night above medzi I saw a like a big deer just a few years back.
As the youth President have said reference to fore father's comments saying " tigers have a particular route to pass through " it might be true , may be they migrates from different places or states with various reasons and searching for their survival , they are able to walk far distances , so there might be different tigers . We hope cocerned Deptt . wisely deals with the situation , so that not only lifestocks but human lives are protected at this situation 🙏

Back then in kiphire when i was staying there, we did got amuzsed when we woke up and saw duck head without it's body . I got shocked our toilet was far away so i saw it while coming back . After seeing it's head I saw headless body of duck again I called everyone and also rent house owner came , everyone was so confusing we couldn't figure out what thing killed the more then 5 ducks into pieces.

This is the right time for the Forest Department to put their Theory into action.....its been long we have Forest Department...but never heard of them into action so this is their only chance now to get into action....please approach the Forest department as soon as possible......and the public should be very careful from now..untill the situation gets normal.

Even me had an experience in my village people talking about tiger living in the forest so everyone went for hunting looking luckily it was shoot by one of the hunter but surprisingly it was not a tiger though they were saying it was just a wild cat but huge one so can't really believe whether it's a real tiger or not especially elderly people we tribals talk so serious and make situation so interesting 🙂
