The word child has nothing to do with the age, i'm 15 and no one calls me a child because i'm not childish +-+ generally when someone is little and cute we call them a child because they resemble to there innocent ! the mystery of how sungchan and shotaro talk to each other has been solved 0:30 u can tell that they make efforts so that they can understand each other whether it’s thru japanese or korean. It kinda reminds me of Ten and Winwin on their trainee days, they also adjusted their own language so that both can understand each other. SM pls don’t separate them they’re gonna be the best pals :((

It makes me so happy to see Shotaro speaking Japanese because I am Japanese person who currently lives away from Japan and I just miss hearing the language sometimes. I'm so thankful for him and Yuta that they feel comfortable to speak in Japanese on Vlives and other times😊💚

(Also some people might not understand the "san" if they don't know any Japanese so I would probably use Mister or like a teacher for your closed captions because I think Yukichi san is the dance teacher, trainer, instructor, idk one of those so maybe Mister is the safest option.)
2:08 "you can do more right?"
(I laughed at your comment at 2:10 "Japan always play wild games but that looks painful" I'm sure Shotaro got rock solid abs because I did this similar training in America when I ran for the track team and I could only take one and I was done😂)

So after that of course the Wi-Fi gets bad and it's also a clip not connected from before so the context is missing, but basically from 6:55 to 7:10 Shotaro mentions the word お年玉 (otoshidama) which is when you get money from your relatives during new years which is a tradition we have, like kids get money from their relatives on new years, so Shotaro said when he has enough otoshidama, the training doesn't hurt his heart so much (since he isn't worried about paying for the training I'm guessing) but his body still hurts because he still has to train😂

I think what I gained from watching him speak Japanese is...he's literally so funny😂😂 I think once he opens up to other members and get better at Korean, he's gonna be the comedian of the group but I mean what's new, NCT are full time comedians who are also extremely talented. Speaking of talented, from watching this we can also see how hard working and talented Shotaro is I mean the clips were very out of context but from what I can tell, the dance crew he joined seems to have mostly older people but Shotaro pushed through to be good and always worked hard, I'm so proud of him💚
