    is there a way to copy and paste something that would work for multiple dates for example multiple people for years of service

    The formula used is not recognized since office 2016, completely outdated.

    DATED IF no longer works on MS 365 updates. If it works for you still, then great. But no longer working on most. The video is outdated.

      It doesn't even come up as an option when I type =DATEDIF in a cell

      @@jasonfitt I managed to overcome this after a couple days. My excel somehow reverted back to normal and DATEDIF returned.
      I think it has something to do with the excel file itself maybe. But it’s come back since this post was made.
