At PEER Kindness, we understand the impact of peer cruelty. Two years ago, we lost Cait Haynes. Cait completed suicide after she endured repeated bullying from her peers. She had food thrown in her hair, chewed gum stuck to her locker, untrue sexual rumors spread on a false social media account, and a fist punch to her face. We want to change those social norms. We want to create a community where bullying is no longer accepted and kids learn to stand up for themselves and for each other!”
WE need to recognize bullying. WE need to respond to it. WE need to report it. Together WE can create a safe and inclusive environment for our youth!
