Dancing with our hands Tied

ED SHEERAN live performance tutorials PLEASE 🥺
a man who is not afraid to say they like taylor swift AND sees how amazing she is as an artist... we love to see it and have no choice but to stan and subscribe!
💯💯💯💯
Shade never made Taylor less talented oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh....
And real men listen to Taylor Swift. ☝😁
Wait, are there any people afraid to say they like Taylor Swift?? Are swifties being persecuted or somethin'?? Please enlighten me cuz I'm not a swiftie but I do like her, and I'm not afraid to say I like her to other people. And I never heard of a man being hated just because he's a swiftie.
@@joejonas3584 watch this video called The carefully crafted narrative of Taylor Swift. Maybe it will help. Here's the link ua-cam.com/video/w2XtejIt4p8/v-deo.html
No choice in the matter!!
Finally her guitar skills get some recognition.
They deserve it!
It’s just 4 chords, what do u mean skills😂
@@niekvanwensen ikr lol
Taylors always been more about articulation, than fancy chords. It sounds cool, I wish I could do it. Unfortunately I can't play with a pick, at ALL. 😆
Cathy O exactly. She also has great rhythm and uses dynamics often. Plus her playing is always really clear and crisp.
*Her fame does overshadow her talent as an artist.*
i see you everywhere in taylor videos, especially the folkfore one haha
Yet people still underappreciate her
@@pritabunga9257 hehehe... big swiftie here.
I'm here for 8:11 Derrik pausing and crushing over Taylor's vocals WE STAN AN HONEST MAN
It deserves to be crushed over! This was one of the best performances that I've seen from her
@@DerrikRockne EASY ...
Check out 12:23 for more ;)
I know right? Damn... She IS amazing.
btw she sounded exactly the same in live
Who else here can’t play guitar don’t even own a guitar, but still watched the whole video anyway 😂
meeeeeee
@@WarriorPhantom17 me! I came here coz I want to see more people appreciating her guitar skills!
me lmao
Me 😇
I actually searched for a tutorial video for this song cause I thought it is easy to play as everyone says her guitar skills are basic. Nevermind
My favourite part of this video is when she hits a high note and his face goes 🥺😲✨🎆🎇☺️
"Her vocals' sounds amazing.."
Man now this is A CONTENT. You're a friggin genius im really amazed how quickly you picked the whole thing!! Aghhhh thank youuuuuu
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
your ability to hear and translate those beautiful tones on the fly like that it’s simply amazing
Thank you! 😃
I'm being honest, this is a visual and auditory enjoying, conerlia Street is so good and you are so handsome. I like your beard.
haha thank you!
Check out her Grammy Museum performance of Wildest Dreams... intimate crowd and overall amazing vibe.
Also the acoustic version of Treacherous (from the Red album) is super beautiful - just her with a guitar in a living room, playing for fans
YESSSSS PLS
@@buzzcutseason142 I wasn't thinking of it as a reaction only - I've seen his other videos, so I'm aware that they're tutorial based. If it's not something he can do, that's cool. Just figured I would throw it out there.
Hey Sarah! Those performances seem to be the most requested so far. I'll check them out. Thanks for the suggestions!
@@DerrikRockne Awesome! Love your videos!
swifties will love these timestamps

Yes. You could do a version of you playing like that on top of Taylor like Santana did with some artists. It would be so COOL !!!
SAME
TOTALLY AGREE!!!
AGREE OMG I KEEP ON REPEATING THAT
Same here
Check her grammy museum performance!! Wildest dreams and blank space
I second this request XD
The Grammy Museum performances seem to be the most requested videos so far! I'll check them out. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@DerrikRockne The live version of Wildest Dreams at the Grammy museum is done with an electric guitar, which totally changes the vibe of the song. Would be cool of you to do a quick listen of the song as it is, and then listen to the electric guitar acoustic. Might get the chanche to share some cool insight on how to extract the core of the song from a version, and change it's vibe and do a different version with another instrument.
(A nice fact about Taylor is that she writes all of her songs with the explicit goal of them being good even if you strip down all production).
Taylor finally getting the props that she deserves. If more people were like this and tried to understand how complex it is to do what she does... maybe just maybe you know.. great video dude. Subscribed! :)
Thank you!
Yeah i have tried to sing it and play it, its hard. I can do it well just by playing guitar only or singing only. But both? So damn hard
Every freakin time he shakes his head...
DUDE I EFFIN FEEL YOU DAMMIT !!!!
I second anyone mentioning the Grammy museum performances. Blank space is one of my favorite acoustic guitar performances she's done. Also, better man at the bluebird is wonderful.
Added these to my list!
I actually love her Grammy museum wildest dreams performance. It’s so beautiful
I don’t play any instruments so I’m here listening to you speak Greek but enjoying anyway
so I'm a novice guitarist, I'm training in classical and only know a few basic chords (the D/F# thing is completely new to me), so I'm not up to playing at this level yet, but you explained it so well! I'm very impressed by how you instantly parse what chords and patterns she's using just by listening. Taylor is my favorite artist so it's an absolute dream to learn her songs. I'll come back to this video when I feel a bit more confident in my skills. and you've earned a subscriber! seriously, great work. so clear and easy to follow.
Thank you and I'm glad it helped!
The way she plays this song on guitar reminds me of the song "Collide" by Howie Day a bit
Great song!
come on swifties, this guy deserve more views and love 🤧🙏🏻✨
Thank you!
You are like a youtuber who must have at lest a million subs cuz that is the number which suits you...keep it up..and dont forget us when ur at million subs
That's too nice! Thanks, Nasreen!
@@DerrikRockne WELCOMEEEEE...you deserve more...👏
I’ve been trying to figure out how she played “Better Man” at the bluebird cafe for so long. But it doesn’t show the guitar itself enough for me to figure it out cause i don’t have the ear to know which chords she is playing. If you get a chance, a tutorial for that would be awesome. Also, I love the vids. Keep up the great work!
I'll be doing that one in the near future! Love that song. Thanks for the suggestion, Ellie!
I think she plays the same chords of this song (in a higher key)...G D Em C with the nut (I hope it's correct, I'm not an english speaker) at 4/5 space (I believe)
I was at that show, and the vocals were really good!
I bet! That's cool that you were there!
I would suggest that you watch her blank space acoustic performance in the grammy museum which is set in a more queit tone. By the way thank you for these helpful videos, your T Swift tutorials are really useful.
I'll check those out! Thanks!
I remember watching her video and saying, if one day I learn to play the guitar I want to learn this song and death by a thousand cuts too, and you covered them both, thank you so much, you got yourself a new subscriber!!!
Thanks for subscribing!
It's amazing how this song can be broken down into parts like this. For casual listeners, the song itself is nice because of the melody and lyrics and the meaning. But hearing you dissect her performance, the conscious decision she makes in subtly increasing the intensity from verse to chorus and her overall dynamics - it really widens my perspective on her as an artist. Thank you! Looking forward to more of your content.
It’s amazing to witness how fast he picks up the tune then strum. But, Ha! He can’t help but praise the vocals of Taylor Swift 😂😍
That last part sounds exactly like one of her best songs called All too well
I wish there was a guitar close-up of her acoustic rendition of Dancing with our Hands Tied!
And Taylor's vocal has never been the strongest part of her skillset (although the delivery has always been on point) but recently she's never sounded better
Agreed!
I love the reaction at : "CITY SCEAMS YOUR NAME" 😂
pls. Do the wildest dreams Grammy performance or the Delicate at the spotify fan event. 😊
I wasn't expecting her to belt it out like that so soon! I'll check those out - thanks for the suggestions!
yeah i saw fan videos taken from iphones of this performance before the fully-produced version of the performance came out and she sounded the exact same!
I'm not surprised....you can't fake something like that. I hope she posts more videos from this Paris concert.
@@DerrikRockne I think the entire concert is on Disney Plus
finally....!!!! someone who can actually teach us how to use guitar like how Taylor did.......!!!!
you were sooo impressed already at the beginning and i was waiting for you to hear the final chorus, i love you loving Taylor so much!! thank you for this tutorial
The final chorus is insane! Glad you liked it!
Thank you for recognising her amazing vocal skill
4:16 "she is as big as she is, for a reason"......very true......
One of her best vocal performances acoustic in my own opinion. You pick that up so well.!!
Check out her grammy performance
Will do!
Dude! You deserve WAY more subscribers! This is a really cool concept and the way to just listen and watch to identify the melodies is really impressive.
I just stumbled upon this video and Derrick I have to say you've made me a fan of yours! Great breakdown and lesson. I love that you took the time to appreciate her vocals too. Thank you for this!
Love this video concept! This did not only make my day but my whole year 👏🏻
the way he smiles every time taytay hits that note tho dang bro daaaang
i love how he pauses everybtime Taylor hits the high notes and his face is just so cute😍 thanks for doing this vid. proud swiftie🥰 i just subscribed too.😊 great job
This video is absolutely amazing. Your ability to recognize her tendencies when playing and teach is so so So good. The Swifties love you
Yaay a content I like!!! I heard this live version on Spotify and immediately felt the need to learn the song. This is well explained.
Im not afraid to say i love taylor swift! My friend had taylors music play at her wedding reception and ever since then i am proud to be a swiftie. I even started making friendship bracelets
Wow. Idk why this was recommended to me, but this man is gorgeous ❤️😂
Honestly, I don't even play guitar but I enjoyed this vid to the point where I badly want to play one
Just love it, Derrik!!! Keep it coming!
More to come!
Wildest Dreams live at Grammy Museum pleaassssseeeeee
Added to my list!
This video is so clear. In both your teaching and in production. The video is really well-edited, you chose perfect placement for the inlays, have great lighting, and the sound quality is fantastic & leveled. In teaching, you're concise and knowledgeable, and very easy to follow. Plus you're this handsome masculine man who's not afraid to show your admiration for Taylor Swift as an artist. I wish you were in LA, I'd totally pay you to give me more lessons. I've only known simple chords since around 2012 and haven't really taken the time to improve, but I plan to keep up with your videos and learn some things.
Man, you're so good!! I love you!! Support you always!💓
you're so talented seriously i love watching and learning from these cause you're so good and so respectful of taylor's playing. thank u!!! really appreciate it
Thank you!
This video was so fun! Really informative the way you broke it down. I love this performance and have been trying to find tutorials. Thank you!
Awesome! Glad it helped
I so enjoyed this style of tutorial and his review of this performance and song vocals is spot on!
You’re incredible for doing this. It’s amazing what you can pull from listening! Thank you for taking the time to teach!
Glad you enjoy it!
Thank you for this, I love Taylor acoustic guitar performances
Same!
I LIKED THIS! amazing tutorials
Thanks Derrik for recognizing how great our American Queen really is and for complimenting her on her talent. I was so blown away by her vocals on this one too. So blown away that I had to get Hulu for a month, because they had the whole Paris performance on there for a little while and I had to watch it over and over again. I brag about her constantly. She has such amazing rhythm, but to feel the lyrics like she does at the same time! I am so impressed with her. More and more every day.
You are such a great teacher. Thank you!
I started playing around the end of march and i can't believe that i am already able to play one of my favourite songs.
Of course my technique is far away from perfect and some of the dynamics are too difficult for me, but this tutorial really pushed me further.
Some of your explanations actually helped me with learning a few different songs too.
You are amazing!
Great tutorial video!! Keep it up!!
It's amazing! Thank you for this reaction☺
Amazed at how quickly you picked it up mann! I was looking for this since a longg time! Thanks Mate!
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much for your video! I love this song a lot and now I can play it on my own. Keep on doing these kinds of videos - there great ^^
Haven't watched one of your vids before. I love how in depth you get with everything! Thanks for the vid!
Glad you like them!
I’ve watched it many times and never skipped ads because you deserve it all and more. *YOU’RE THE MAN!*
appreciate you!
Thank you for doing this, this is magic
this is such a big help, Ive always searching guitar tutorials that could show me how she played it correctly, even the chords and the picking patterns, wow thanks ♥♥♥ hope u do more taylor swift tutorials and reactions soon.
More to come!
Everytime she hits the highs n he smiles oh my god my hearts melting 😌😌😌😌Taylor has always been my inspiration. Love you Taylor! ❤❤❤❤
Heyy buddy, this was so great to watch! You picked up the song so fast and you also teach how to play the chords so easily.. I can also sense a little bit of a swiftie vibe from you 🌝😜 you’re amazing!!!
Keep it up 💛🔥
Thanks for making this!! I was searching for a video like this
Glad it was helpful!
i´m from brasil and i just loved your video!! you teach so well that i think i understood everything! and i also just loved how everytime she sang "and baby, I get mystified by how this city screams your name
" he made sure to pause his own guitar to just quietly listen to her and prize her! you earned another fan
absolutely loved this
I love this precise tutorial ❤️❤️
Loved the lesson and your commentary along the way! Subbed because you deserve it. Thank you 💗
Thanks for the sub!
I don't play guitar, but enjoyed watching this. I listen to her acoustic version of this song and Daylight a ton.
I'm appreciating this whole breakdown from a musical composition/ tutorial perspective. I truly appreciate your willingness to openly admire her vocal abilities and guitar play. New subbie bc you're "reviewing" Tay Tay and for taking the time to educate
Thanks!
Thank you so much for doing this!!
I've always looked for this type of tutorials where I can learn how Taylor Swift plays guitar in her concerts, what chords she's using, what're the strumming patterns... I didn't find any 😔
Now finally I got what I wanted!! 😊And thank you so much for making it! Do more of this type of stuff please! ❤️❤️❤️
I love taylor. She’s so talented and I’m glad that you gave credit where it’s due for her vocals and guitar playing skills. Guitar playing isn’t just about the chords a person uses, there’s so much more to it. She’s also a great lyricist, songwriter and she’s is so kind at heart. She definitely deserved the artist of the decade award in my opinion.
I can't thank u enough for this
amazing tutorial! please do some more💙
Omg you're so good!!! Thanks for this
Awesome replay and analysis of a great song
Thanks!
Wow! Being able to watch her video and pick it up so easy is amazing! Between him and Taylor they got me wanting to learn guitar. 😍👍
You can do it!
this video is what I need ! Thankyou! I Stan and subscribe .
omg u r incredible man 😭❤️
thank u so much for it, ur a genius 🤯😍
I had watched this video some time ago, but I can proudly say that TODAY, I played the entire song JUST LIKE TAYLOR! Thank you for your videos, it's been of immense help!
I'm not sure how I missed this when Lover came out, but this was really impressive. You are obviously a talented musician, but an even better instructor. Incredible. Have a Swift day.
Thank you so much for this video. My daughter has recently started learning acoustic thanks to TS and we've been learning a bunch of her songs together. This is one of our favorites, and we both appreciate the level of detail and professionalism (as well as the fandom) in your videos. I know these must be a lot of work to pull off, but if you ever have a chance to tackle the iHeart Radio Jingle Bell Ball version of Welcome to New York we'd both be beyond grateful. Thanks again!
absolutely stunning tutorial
this is the first time i've watched one of his guitar tutorials and i am in utter awe how he can recognize chords in seconds and play it just by ear. i honestly aspire to become this good.😂
thanks araya! You will be!
Such a piece of art! Wow!!!

Thank you!
