Dry salt lake instability

Dry lake simulated on personal Fortran code.
Parameters are: lake depth: 10; horizontal aspect ratio: 1; horizontal length: 24*pi; Rayleigh number: 100.
The sides show the salinity (the darker the saltier) while the top plane shows the salinity flux in the vertical direction (red is upward, blue is downward). Every 10 seconds on the video corresponds to 1 time unit.
