  • Worked on a collaboration for the first time today. Happy and excited about it. No details about what it's about for now since we'll have to wait for the video to come out, so this vlog is just some personal reflections on what I learned from a more experienced youtuber.
I've always wanted to do a vlog talking about anything, so here's a start. Not expecting people to watch this, but still, I just want to put this out there. Good night! I hope you have a good day when you wake up :)

Finally, I able to finished today 31 Jan 2021 all your videos. :) I spent 1 month finishing it. Haha. I really appreciate the way you teach, it's easy to understand. It really helps us, promise. I really feel and understand you, maybe because we are the same age. Anyways, thank you so much. Please continue to make SMLAL video, please. Even translating songs will do as I love Malay songs. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. :) - OFW here from Singapore. :)

Lisse, can you please do more videos about learning malay? I love watching them. My husband is Malaysian, I'm from Belgium and will be moving to KL in 2 months. I know that everyone speaks pretty good English in Malaysia but I really want to learn BM.
Your videos have a perfect pace, you have good topics, it's nice to watch, etc.
    Terima kasih!

@@sierralisse8897 Hi Lisse! Good to hear that! I'm from Hong Kong but my husband is a Malaysian Chinese from Penang and his Malay is very bad. I'm trying to surpass him on Malay atm (I'm an absolute beginner!) and your videos really help! Look forward to your new videos.

You've been quiet, hope you're ok with all the MCO issues! We were planning to move to KL but country seems to remain closed, sadly...

Very well done for your first Vlog. You come out as a very honest person who doesn't hold back how she feels about something. When you are honest, it touches the viewer. Best wishes for your future en-devours .

I look forward to that video actually :) and you're absolutely right, collaboration is fun as you learn together as a team. To be able to entrust, assign roles, empower others, and to set clear goals and expectations for a project, those are indeed traits that a good leader should have. Frankly I have the same issue with reluctance to delegate because, it takes more time to train others to do what you're doing at the very beginning, but the power of delegation is that you're able to increase your output and save time in the end. Senang nak faham, susah nak buat. I hope that you get to do more collaborations and it takes a lot to share your thoughts as well, so thanks for sharing with us. Feel free to reach out to your subscribers too as I think a lot of them are UA-camrs themselves :) Jangan malu-malu ya! :)

what I picked up from this Vlog is love is in the air :) (but's thats good, it proves that the pandemic hasn't desensitised you, which is good)
secondly what I liked from this Vlog, similar to what you said in your first lesson teaching Malay was, you something like,
"let me know what you want me to talk about next and if you don't I will continue posting anyway"
that in its own is powerful and commendable! good luck with everything.
(saw your channel yesterday when I busy deciding which language to learn next, Malay sounded fun because you said there isn't any bad conjugations and neither any tones!)
    bless
