I can't imagine seeing both the old Kingdom of Sarawak flag and the Union Jack together in real life and this is a rare sight for me. I was born in 1988 and I never got the chance to know how it feels like to live in colonial Sarawak. Thanks Mr. Rogge for uploading these one of a kind old film reels you have.

If only the old Sarawak Kingdom buildings are left intact and the waterfront build in front of it, it would be such a great and better view. but sighh.. the current gov only cares about profits.. Love the old flag too, I would prefer the one without the crown, that's the Sarawak Kingdom original one.

Indeed but there were no sound filmcameras at the time, so I had to improvise.
