- It's clear that Zakir Naik didn't have any Quran verse to prove that it discourages for Muslims to seek waseela ( though he believes there are some 25 verses as such!!!) & such an expert who quotes chapters & verse numbers couldn't quote even one single verse to defense his belief!
Dear viewers this shocked everyone who was witnessing it live & further more we have given our challenge for Zakir Naik to accept & we may give him time till the day of judgment to make his mind.
May we always pray that the Muslim Ummah is kept united & not divided with the innovation of such unreliable 21st century speakers. He may be specialised in Comparative religion & probably an expert in it without a doubt but this doesnt give him the license to speak on Islamic sciences bluntly.
May Allah guide all of us in the right path

Zakir Naik shouldn't give any reply to these idiots as they have went too far, negating Shia Muslim. They worship besides Allah others who can neither harm nor benefit them, and say, “These are our intercessors with Allah.” Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Are you informing Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or the earth? Glorified and Exalted is He above what they associate ˹with Him˺!” (IS TAWWASUL THRU NABI SALLAHU ALAYHI WASALAM WORSHIPPING OTHER THAN ALLAH? Only translation and sharp memory is not enough for understanding islam. For your kind information, I think you should have heard about Durud e ibrahim, now read its translation, "oh Allah bless Muhammad and his family as you blessed ibrahim and his family." What is this called? Waseela or is it shirk?
Seeking waseela is not obligatory in ahle sunnah, but recommended by allah. If you won't seek it you are not doing anything against islam, but if you label waseela seeker as mushrik than you are going against above mentioned ayats,so shirk will return to accuser. And last point when durud e ibrahim was taught to ummah by prophet (s.a.w) at that time prophet Ibrahim (a.s) was in grave. So before labeling seeking waseela from grave as shirk, just think who taught durud e ibrahim.

Regarding the point" Prophet Ibrahim Was in grave at that time" - We are not asking from Prophet Ibrahim we are asking from Allah to have mercy upon our prophet as he shown mercy to Prophet Ibrahim..(We can make Dua for dead person right )
In Surah Al fatiha which is called Mother of All the surah. in that surah it's mentioned "You Only we worship and From You only we seek help" (Iyaa kana budu wa Iyaa ka-nasteen ).. Here we are asking help from Allah only..
All the reference in this comment regarding waseela is at the judgement day where prophet by Allah's command intercede for us..
There is thin line between asking help from Allah and asking through waseela same line is crossed by Christian by asking from Isa (Jesus).

If Zakir Naik knows 25 verses in Quran Sharif that states that Wasila is haram then in front of these people why was he unable to state even a single verse to defend himself, this is because Quran Sharif itself says that ask for Wasila, and Quran Sharif does not have even a single verse that proves Wasila is haram.

first of all, zakir naik is neither Allah nor the prophet nor the angel. since hi is a human being. sadly he has to make mistakes. Has Allah ordered us to go to Jannat via zakir naik? shouldn't we also try to read Qur'an and hadith by ourselves? yes, zakir naik may make mistakes but most of the times he has been right and doing good deeds. so we should praise his work and criticize the mistakes in constructive way....

Zakir Naik says false sentences, he says that he is stating from Quran that Wasilla is haram for Muslims whereas if you read Quran I am damn 100 percent sure that there is not even a single aayat that proves that Wasilla is haram whereas there are aayats where Allah(S.W.T) says to take Wasilla.
My message to all Muslims is that you yourself read Quran because then only you will be able to find where Zakir Naik is lying and giving wrong and irrelevant messages to people and I am damn sure that after reading Quran Sharif you will find aayats that proves that Wasilla should be taken and is not haram.

Hey, if you are following Dr. Zakir Nalayak, then tell your doctor to reply as just understanding doesn't result in any solution to the issue raised by scholar Mohammad Ehsan Qadiri. At last, it's about the belief of Muslim Ummah. If he was true, he'd have replied ASAP or even till date. But if he's lied about verses of Qur'an, I wonder who will save him and his followers on the day of resurrection.
Dr. zakir naik is human been that still learning and many things he has given good answer.. no one perfect no matter how smart he is. He always said islam is only one not divided as mention in Quran. he has lot things to do. he is not a machine . give him time to answer. We r responsible with our own choice.. dr. zakir just sharing knowledge n information that he know.

When Allah says clearly in Quraan al kareem....I quote.
"O-Messenger(saw) if they ask you about me..tell them(means all human kind)that I am very near.I answer the prayers whosoever calls on me."
And at other place Allah says
"I am more close to you than ypu jagular vein."
So why should you ask the waseela and for what...when you can directly communicate with your lord and he has not put any assistants inbetween.

And ayat that denies wasela are for disbeliver. If you will read those ayat they clearly says that " those whom you *worship* are not capable of intercession in court of Allah."

What is meant by tawassul and waseelah is four things:
the kind of tawassul without which faith cannot be complete, which is seeking to reach Allaah (tawassul) by believing in Him and His Messengers, and obeying Him and His Messenger, This is what is meant in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Do your duty to Allaah and fear Him. Seek the means of approach to Him…”
[al-Maa’idah 5:35]
This includes seeking to approach Allaah through His Names and Attributes, or by doing acts of obedience and worship by which one seeks to approach Allaah, and so on.
Seeking to approach Allaah by asking His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to make du’a’ for one during his lifetime, and the believers asking one another to make du’aa’ for one another. This follows on from the first type and is encouraged.
Seeking to approach Allaah by virtue of the status and virtues of some created being, such as saying, “O Allaah, I ask You by virtue of Your Prophet” and so on. This is allowed by some of the ‘ulama’, but this opinion is da’eef (weak). The correct view is that it is definitely haraam, because there can be no tawassul in du’aa’ except by virtue of the Names and Attributes of Allaah.
Tawassul as it is understood by many of the Muslims of later times, which is calling on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and seeking his help (or seeking the help of the dead and so-called awliya’). This is a form of major shirk, because calling on or seeking help from anyone other than Allaah with regard to something that that only Allaah is able to do is a kind of worship, and directing worship to anyone or anything other than Allaah is major shirk. And Allaah knows best

Actually I read the Qur'an and I debated with many Muslims alone, they failed to answer me. Many of my points and proofs were left unanswered and denied by these Muslims. Each time i'm taking on a topic they tried to change the topic and talk about something else by adding bias subjects.
To err is human... He is not angel... He always tells people what I am saying if it is go with quran and authentic hadith, obey it. if not, do not obey... I think other muslim scholars should help him, it will be helpful for the people... His dawah for islam is appreciable... I did not see any muslim scholar who was succeeded in dabate like zakir naik... I did not see any modern muslim scholar who attracted educated people to think about religion like zakir naik...

Since Dr. Zakir accepted and agreed to reply then he must fulfill his commitment. If possible he must deliver a lecture on this sensitive subject Wassila if he really knows all those 25 verses, understands them and sincere to his commitment as a Muslim. He always quotes the verse of holy Qur'an that .....produce your proof if you are truthful'. I think this is the time he should come forward and proof himself. We came to know that for it is more than 4 years now the questioner yet to be answered. If he doesn't know the answer and exploited Quran for his personal reason then must come forward to apologize and repent.

I am non-Muslim and I don't have much knowledge of Islam. I know only scraps. I recall one hadith and that stays stuck with me. Here is the hadith below:
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri said: “Marwan brought out the pulpit on the day of ‘Eid, and he started with the sermon before the prayer.
A man said: ‘O Marwan, you have gone against the Sunnah. You have brought out the pulpit on this day, and it was not brought out before, and you have started with the sermon before the prayer, and this was not done before.’
Abu Sa'eed said: *'As for this man, he has done his duty. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever among you sees an evil action and can change it with his hand (by taking action), let him change it with his hand. If he cannot do that, then with his tongue (by speaking out); and if he cannot do that, then with his heart (by hating it and feeling that it is wrong), and that is the weakest of faith.'* "
