I see a few comments about the sound. As someone who worked sound for 13 years, I can offer some insight; It seems like this mix that we are hearing was the mix right off the live sound console, and not a separate broadcast specific mix. The live sound guy mixes for the room, and a large arena has its own characteristics that he is mixing for, namely lots of natural reverb. So he's not adding any reverb to the mix. He's not mixing for the broadcast. This results in a very "dry" sound for us at home. A large scale PA (likely an Adamson line array, hometown choice) reacts quite differently than studio monitors, TV speakers, or home theater speakers. Additionally, I think they only played three songs, so they probably didn't fly a Reely brother out to mix their set, and/or it was possibly complicated by union contracts (for example, bands on late night shows are mixed by the union house engineer, they cannot use their own guy). Further, it seems as though Kristy was just handed an SM58 and went out there, and for some reason couldn't use her SM87 (if I recall that's her own mic choice). She's hitting all the notes square on, it just isn't sitting in the mix like we're expecting. Last but not least, we're seeing and hearing something that was recorded onto a VHS tape from the broadcast, and that significantly degrades the fidelity. I'd dream about how great it would be to get these original individual tracks to mix it properly, but they simply don't exist as separate tracks, only the mix from the live console.
I still yearn for the Kristy Delirium era. Did she also do Heaven's Earth and Till The End of Time? Also, the performance of this (live) is here (about 49:20 in). It's damn on par with her recorded version :D ua-cam.com/video/PVUzvoABQQo/v-deo.html
Sound equipment is bad for the band like this or soundmaster is lazy and dumb. I guess back-vocals from girl with the bass was tuned too much or muted at all in first minutes... She was barely making any sound. Song is great. But sound screwed this completely. I can only wonder how was it in real... Maybe worse than on the record.

Love Delerum!
Нектар для моих ушей. Эта группа не дооценена в мире.
Her vocal talent is greatly underestimated and unappreciated.
No it's not.
@@DanielMartinez-kh3sy Yes it is!!
I totally get it now...she did it as a single vocal
I believe this was the January 2005 performance for One World: The Concert for Tsunami Relief
This is not 2005? The Tsunami Benefit Concert?
Though not perfect, I was surprised at how well it translated to live.
I still yearn for the Kristy Delirium era.

I agree. And yes, she's vocals on Heaven's Earth and Till the end of time.
😐🤔 .....well, she tried. I'll stick to the recording.
where the fuck is Bill??
Do not try it with headphones! :(
а под политра водки звук итак везде, тебе 👍
Dammit. I tried it with headphones.
Also played along with my piano.
Guess I'm going to hell.
I don't care.
until you can hit the same octaves as christiey....tell me your BS. You cant. she's awesome
You mean Kristy?
if you really see, "Diva DANCE"
いつもライブ映像見てて思うんだけど、曲調とKristy嬢のファッションに“隔たり”があるんですよね(*´-`)
この時期こういうファッションが流行ってたのかな?
sounds pretty rough without her voice tuned
There wasn't any such thing as auto-tune when they recorded the album, but nice try
I know. I'm a male soprano, not counter tenor. Our voices are what they are. I hit c3 all alphabet. NOT MARIAH CARREY DOOOOOOOOGGGGGGG WHISTL!!!!!!!!
Damn. I always looked for a description of Mariah Carey's voice.
Dog whistle is perfect lmao ty
