    I own both cameras.
Using the Z30 (outdoors) in the sun light is a MAJOR challenge.
    Thanks for posting your video.

Thinking about it I haven't used it during the summer months yet, I got it in October, so will definitely have to take that into account soon. I do love a viewfinder in the sunshine

@@My_Photography_Journey I think the Z5 / Z30 are a great combo. Just that the Z30 back-screen gets wiped out outdoors with the South Florida sun.
I think Nikon knocked it out of the park with their Z line. That lens lineup (specially their primes) are high quality plus. They are NOT cheap, but excellent quality.

PASM is universal. P for Program where the camera sets both lens aperture and shutter speed, A for aperture priority where you set aperture and camera sets a shutter speed, S for shutter priority where you set the shutter speed and camera sets the aperture and M where you have to set both shutter speed and aperture and make adjustments to one or the other in order to get the correct exposure.

On most cameras, the P setting stands for program. But to be totally honest, I don’t know what it stands for on the Nikon

Yes!! That's it, thank you!! I think that's for choosing your own ISO but the camera does the rest? Never used it myself (if you couldn't guess!)

This is interesting, im a Z5 shooter and like landscape, did you consider the 24-120? Probably like many im a little torn between the 2 and its a lot of money to put into either one, I want to think 120 will be enough and I'd appreciate the f4 for lower light situations and shallower depth of field throughout the range, but also wonder if I would find myself wishing I had the extra reach if I went for the 24-120 and telling myself if I use DX mode it would get me close at 180, but then of course you also have the DX mode option on the 24-200 also, cheers

That is a very good question! For me it was that extra reach that I wanted, I take a lot of my pictures at F8 or F9 so I wasn't as swayed by the F4 as the 200mm. I also kept an eye out for second hand prices (on mpb.com) for the lens too.

I have the 24-120mm f4 and it's a great lens to use. It has the versatility and a constant aperture. It really depends on the type of shooting you do. I like to use this when I only need to carry one lens and it's very good for recording video.

I looked this up to review the Z5 but too much of the video refers to the Z30.........?

Oh sorry! I tend to compare the 2 as that's what I have most experience on. Here is one that's far more Z5 focused: ua-cam.com/video/AS_NMVc_xZo/v-deo.html

    Hi Steven,
What do you think about this combination to be used for pets photography ?
Would it work good, or i need to get Z6II ?

I have a couple of dogs and a couple of cats, these have been ok with this combination. However I prefer my Z30 with a faster lens too. I've not tried the Z6ii so can't really comment on that one
