- In this video I show you how to sand out cracks, fill with spray foam and level out with body filler. Tools used are small angle grinder, DA sander, spray foam, body filler. Along with some hand sanding techniques with 80 grit sandpaper.

Saw a guy put a dash pad from LMC Truck for a c-10 . He heated the cracked dry material with a torch and peeled it off, then he put the dash pad on and it looked great. Just wondering if anyone has tried that technique?
You should try Flex Seal Paste !

What are the things you used??
Does the foam stop the cracking from coming through the finish
the foam works as a filler.it all gets covered with bondo.
So you put the filler on after the foam?
Yes, it keeps from having a 1/2” of filler and less likely to crack. my next dash I do I’ll fiberglass over the foam then even it all out with filler.
