For real, he was such a dominant force in the European scene at the time. The craziest thing was that he was absolutely good enough to win that event without cheating but he still did.
I also played against Simon He at the euros during the ninth round and after he was DQ, i brought my deck to the judge station and they saw that some of my cards were marked like the previous opponents of Simon The marked cards were : "Star hall x 2, Tower, eternity and master" I Started the game 2 against him with these 5 in hand.
Love the ways those people try to blame Rocco for He's DQ. Those judgment like "no proof omg 15 years old, Italian all cheaters" are simply meaningless, only useful to show your ignorance. 13 decks to prove him guilt. Rocco didn't gain anything from He's DQ, as he wasn't given access to top 16. I don't know him, but I'd love to test my skill against him and his team. Italian player are proud of them.
That's just low. People invest soo much money into these cards (granted i play MTG, but money is money). I know i would be pissed if my sleeves or cards were damaged. Props for the judges remaining calm and reviewing tournament rules.
To be fair, I would probably be smiling too. If I am not mistaken, players were already telling the judges that they thought he was marking cards and they were keeping a close watch on him. Simon's opponent here was probably warned about it and was happy that he could help to get a cheater DQ'd and banned. It's such a shame too because Simon He was such a talented player before this. He didn't need to cheat to win games.
QuickStrike0065 what a dumb fucking reason to be suspicious of a kid who knows he's about to be yugioh famous because he caught a well known player cheating. He knows he's gonna be hot shit for a minute.
@@heftylad he didn't get a free 2-0, they both lost the access to the next match and the next opponent got a free win. I was there and He's opponent was a friend of mine
What was going on with the argument between him and the other guy? I saw them yelling but couldn't hear and everyone was watching and judges were crowded and it was crazy.
Yami Yu gi : what a Minute! Something is Rubbing off my Fingers...! Joey wheeler : These Cards are Marked! ***Yami Yu Gi Rips the cards apart & throws it in the air*** Yami Yu Gi : Not Anymore!
because its the second event where this problem appear. And judge ask every player who play against him to show their deck, and same mark are on the sleeves (sorry for my bad english)
the asian guy hes sleeves are mark, which is cheating cause mark cards you can tell what cards are in the top of your deck which you know what you are gonna draw or mill.
PhenomRom ya i was bored so i decide to check on yugioh cheaters and i saw your commit . so this guy he tops and win alot of games but he got caught by hes opponent cause he notice that hes opponent sleeves are mark , and that is consider cheating
No, he was accused of marking the back of his opponent's cards so he would know what's in his hand. When using his nail to do this, he might also have pressed hard enough to damage the back of the cards through the sleeves.
0:40 Bieber Boy: The Shadow Realm awaits him and soon I will become Marik! Simon He: Draw your last pathetic card so that I can end this, Bieber. Bieber Boy: My deck does not contain pathetic cards. "To suppose" is not the correct verb in this situation. He cheated, the head judge wrote this in the official konami report, i could read it because i know him and the judge staff
Plot twist: Simon He marked his opponent's sleeves to accuse him of marking his own sleeves to get him DQd in order to get his opponent DQd. Justa theory though.
ha piegato le foderine delle carte che di prima mano fanno schifo in modo che mentre mischiava il mazzo all'avversario le riconosceva e le metteva prima cosi che aveva mani non giocabili
Glad I could help :) Just a small suggestion: try to understand how things work and why they work like that rather than studying every single ruling. Trust me, that'll give you everything you need to be a good judge. Oh and don't forget the policies/penalty guidelines.
Giusto una piccola cosa. Rocco non ha colpa, come ha già detto uno, infatti hanno trovato questo difetto anche nel deck di Scaccia e tutti quelli con cui più lui è andato contro. So,Fuck the Haters,Simon got the DQ.
I beat this guy when he came to my locals with aggro Kycoo and lily deck. You talking 15+ years ago. Never seen his face drop like a stone since. He got me back in his locals. We are 1-1
Ok first sorry for the bad grammar I'm not American but the judge should also cobsider the fact that his opponent maybe mark the cards on purpose so he can get what he need easier and how should simon know what cards he marked on he didn't turn the deck ovee and actually look at the cards
Yea Simon He isnt a player who would resort to cheating, if anything all he players who had the same marks on their sleeves were all in on it and made the marks similar for a reason (:>_
I'd hope he's topped more events than I ever will, considering I don't even play rofl. I just keep up with it and that's about it. And you do realize you are basing your impression of a person off a youtube video, right? You have never even met him.
I love how confident his opponent was, too many people in this game would be too scared to confront him sadly

I guess it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good site to stream new series online?
@Jacoby Theo Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it!!
@Gael Lucas You are welcome :)
Well your problem there was that you wrote spellbook cards on your decklist
He marked his opponents cards and stacked them against him

proof? even his friends of united gosus know he cheated lol
there lies the real problem: most top players cheat, some are just better at hiding then simon.
I don't have anything against your friend but even having evidence of marks on sleeves does not prove who the person was that made those marks.
And the italian players are the best Yugioh players in Europe.
From a French player.
Ninetales grazie man
Ninetales and a British
