What makes you think that's not coming? You think this is all we're getting before a possible release? I'm 100% convinced that if it was 2 minute jump cuts you would have creamed your pants over it.
The reason being that there's no Hollywood involvement, zero corporate meddling, no third-party "expert" deciding how to market this movie or how the trailers should be. Francis Ford Coppola financed the whole movie himself, from start to finish and has full creative control, down to the trailers. Hell, there isn't even an US distribution partner yet, precisely because everyone is too chicken to invest on an unsafe bet. It's not your run-of-the-mill, by-the-numbers movie, and that's too scary.
What a novel idea: let a single partial scene that gives a taste of the film spark interest, but otherwise leave us without much of anything else that, in knowing, would take away from the eventual movie viewing experience. This should be done more often - count me fully interested!

So I beg to differ - I found this teaser trailer to be both relatively and effective.

A real trailer is a short film in and of itself. It's related to the movie, but also sort of its own thing. Coppola gets that, and I hope this is a return to form.
I have to say, the trailer did spark my interest. I literally thought he was gonna just and then he stopped time with just a snap of his fingers. That had me going woah! So yeah, big fan of Adam and seeing more about this film. I’ve always found that the films you know next to nothing about end up turning out to be more enjoyable than you thought.

The danger of having the ability to stop time is the next time when you really need to stop time, it does not stop. Conversely, the next snap of your finger may not resume the flow of time. So how much risk are you willing to take? To not have time save you from danger and death or having to spend an eternity with nothing changes. At least with 3 wishes, you know exactly your limit.
I like the part where he yells "time stop!" in a very strange way so that the audience of complete slathering worms understand what happened when we see the clouds stop moving and the cars stop moving. I think that's the most elegant and artistic way to communicate something surreal to an audience: just have a character awkwardly yell a non-grammatic sentence fragment that spells it out for us so we can roll our tongues back up, tuck them in our mouths change out our bib to a dry one and understand the rest of the movie while we pick earwax with our fingers in our greasy seats.

It didn't predict anything. It was film from the devastation of 911 that they decided to not use. It was out of respect that they stopped the production because it had so many similarities to the movie.
Remind me of god of war 4 reveal in E3 2016 , it was made by mature developer and from the beginning for not showing to much it still tell you that the story will be masterclasses just like this teaser.
So, from this trailer one could imagine that the character is in a dream, or an alternate reality. Or he is discovering he is a superhero, an alien, that he is a God of some sort. I believe that this "International Trailer" is a good tease, but a snippet of other scenes in a full trailer will be needed to show us if there is more for us to be invested in. They don't need to give away too much but at least give us an idea of what we would be stepping into. An example of this is the recent series on AppleTV called Sugar. It stars Colin Farrell, Amy Ryan, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and James Cromwell. I saw the trailer and thought, "Cool! A noire detective series with Colin Farrell." It didn't give away much at all. Detective hired to find missing daughter of wealthy Hollywood producer. I start watching the series and it has a really different feel to it. There is the central mystery and yet there's also another mystery of the central character. Then WOOOSH! the genre flips us on our head.
