Could you drop one 100% on the bass notes and sound selection for the bass soon? Or something along those lines that would be so epic.. I always feel like I'm picking the wrong bass and I struggle with the types of slides I want
Just download the main drill kits, 808melo, axl, the 1fay-something guy (whatever he'a called, kits good) or a stash from reddit and use the different 808s, your selection will be better with more practice it's not something you can teach. When you're making the beat and are ready to add the 808 you should have in your mind what type of sound you're going for, and then you just go to and pick the right 808 that sounds closest to what's in your head. You just get it with practice and experience
It also helps if you know how each main 808 you have sounds so you can quickly pick it without it throwing you off and distracting you

Im having trouble dragging the sample into the fruity slicer. Every time I click to drag the note the fruity slicer disappears. Can someone tell me how to get the Fruity Slicer to stay open while I drag the sample in there?

If it disapears bro just press the arrow next to the settings in the fruty slicer, and press on detached, it should work

Not necessary but try changing pattern in hook and verse so it doesn't get repetitive
