Can't lie, this was a massive help to me! Even though my tail tidy was from a different manufacturer, it was installed the exact same way.
Glad I could help 👍
Dropping a like because this guy shoots things again if the content doesn't match his expectations. Hope you make a shitload of money from this channel
Thanks for taking the time to make this vid. Much appreciated
No problem. Make sure you subscribe for upcoming videos 👍
I am really grateful that you made this video, it helps a beginner such as me a lot. Thanks😁
You're most welcome. 👍
really great vid
It helps me alot
Amazing video and step by step tutorial! Hope you launch more of these. I'm just chocked on the price of the tails. Basically we reuse everything and we still pay about 170$ for it... Damn! That's expensive!
Yeah its a pricey one but in my opinion worth it. It comes with it's own number plate led light. And mounting bolts. And you don't have to actually splice into wires, which is nice. I do get it though. It is a lot of money. I just couldn't find one that I liked any cheaper. Thanks for the comment. Look forward to more.
We've hit 1000 views on this video. Thanks everyone for watching 😁 i appreciate all the support.
Merci Beaucoup☺, from QUÉBEC Canada !
Very helpful sir
Buen trabajo, good job brother, gracias. Bien explicado.
Hi, I watched your video and then bought a fender eliminator on amazon for around $40 for my cb300r 2022.
After 2 hours working on it , it's done. Thank you very much@
You're welcome.
Did you have to add a length of wire for the tail lights? I had the same tail today but the wires would reach without adding more.
No I didn't add any length.
Thaks for this.
Lessons learnt: reuse everything, it's easier that way
Black is the only paint
Thanks bro, a mf broke my left led indicator, I needed a toutorial to dismount the whole tail and change the final piece. 🤝
Way waayyy better than stock.
Are you a fan of bar end mirrors? If you decide to do that please show a video of getting those damn bar ends off ! Great vids so far !
That is actually next week's video. Make sure you click the notification bell so you don't miss it.
@@onecolektiv looking forward to it mate
Nice! thanks for this video. I hope to get this bike when I move to Australia next year. looks much better with the new kit!
Trust me, you'll enjoy the bike 👍
Hey man
Could you please share the dimension of the 5 Allen bolt holding the tail?
It was removed from my bike by the previous owner and the tail is vibrating a lot
When you had the indicators the wrong way could you have just seapped the connectors (plug left into right and right into left)?
It is very helpful! Thank you!
What is the distance between two hole on plate?
Just wondering if it can fit on Taiwan's license plate.
I'm not sure. I no longer have the bike.
Hey mate do you find alot of kick back of dirt from the rear wheel with the tail tidy esp. riding in wet weather? Just did a ride on my 300 and I was covered in mud...
Yeah with the tail tidy, I do usually get that dirt line up my back in the wet. I usually wear a high vis vest in wet weather conditions, so my jacket doesn't get too bad. It will be the same on pretty much any bike that doesn't have a full size mud guard on the rear wheel. If it is a major issue for you, you can get a swing arm mounted mud guard that looks decent and should stop that. Im considering getting one for next wet season.
is this tail tidy compatible with the honda cb125r also?
nice tutorial man!
I'm not sure if it will fit the CB125R. We don't actually get those bikes in Australia for some reason. 🤷♂️
Hey, I have the same bike the there seems to be some loud rattling noise when I ride (I think its the chain) Any advice?
Yes, most likely the chain. I have a video on fixing that. Check it out.
Just wondering where you purchased the tail tidy from? I'm based in Victoria, cheers ✌️
The exact link is in the video description. 👍
advice : don't do that modification on rainy countries ... your back will be wet and a mud magnet :)
Do you need to cover up the wires hanging under the license plate holder? With black tape or anything or is it just for a more clean look.
I just did it so it looks cleaner. There are other options like conduit, which look even better again.
@@onecolektiv Ok thanks for answer, think im gonna go buy some conduit then.
Did you have to splice any wires or was it complete plug and play?
It comes with wire connectors. Don't need to cut any wires at all.
notice how 3 out of 4 top vides have how to in the title
I see your point. Cheers, dude. I'll change the titles. Your a legend.
Please! Should show how the bike look like after installed
You can check out my mods overview video and see everything I've done.
my new licence plate light just has two blank wires sticking out, no adapter or anything. Can I reuse the stock number plate light? Because apart from that I kinda don't know how to proceed
It's difficult to use the stock one on a tail tidy. You can strip the wires and connect them with electrical tape at a minimum. Or go get some connectors from an auto parts store. Tell them what you're doing and they'll tell you which connectors you'll need. Then just connect the wires like in my video, if it doesn't work, swap the wires around and it should work.
@@onecolektiv why is it difficult? And do you know of a license plate light that is compatible with the cb300r?
You can try the stock light if you want. Its just not made for an aftermarket tail tidy so it won't fit properly. You should have gotten one with your new tail tidy kit.
From where can I order tail tidy
Pretty sure I put the link in the video description.
How many cms can you shave off like this
this is one bike i feel it looks better WITH the original set up
by "don't install them backwards" you mean to remember which indicator was orginally on the left side and which one was on the right side?
Yes exactly. It's really annoying when you put it all together and they're on the wrong side.
@@onecolektiv alright thanks, I'm gonna change a tail tidy sometime this week and change the mirrors to bar end mirrors. I'm going to leave the weight from the bar out if I have to but I heard that once you knock them loose it is possible to put them back into the bar a little deeper so that you will have the space for bar end mirrors. Since you knocked them loose before, is that at all possible?
I'm not too sure. I haven't tried that.
