2019 Triumph Street Triple S 660 Quater Mile Time (4K)
Переглядів 825Рік тому
In this episode! I finally get to run my Street Triple down the quarter mile. It was a super fun night. Heaps of really fast cars and bikes, even an 8 second Supra. Unfortunately, I couldn’t film everything I wanted to. Hopefully, next time I’ll be able to film a proper video, and include some races other than my own. That being said, I hope you guys enjoy this video. The next drag video will b...

In todays episode! I’m finally getting the chance to take my Triumph Street Triple to a drag strip!! So, today I’m getting it prepared by removing some of the easy parts, and doing some general servicing. I’m not removing parts for weight loss or aerodynamics. By simply removing items that are easy to take on and off, may save you hundreds of dollars in repair cost in case of a crash. Hope you ...

How To NOT Paint Plastic Trim | 1998 Honda Civic Coupe EK/EJ8

In todays episode! I’m attempting to paint the license plate facia on the boot lid the same colour as the body of the car. It was quite challenging to say the least. But, I got there in the end with terrible results. If you learn anything from this video, it should be to take anything you want painted to a professional, and don’t do what I did. Hope you enjoy todays video. I know what you're th...
How To Fit Integra Seats Into A Civic | 1998 Honda Civic Coupe EK/EJ8

In todays episode! Those ratty old Integra seats that I cleaned up last week, finally get installed. There were a few hiccups with seat rails, but we got there in the end. Hope you enjoy todays video. I know what you're thinking! "why is this idiot building a crappy Honda Civic 20 years too late?". Well, to answer that question, we have to go back to the good old days of cheap Japanese cars. Yo...
How To Clean Seats You Find At A Junkyard | 1998 Honda Civic Coupe EK/EJ8

So, today, I’m cleaning them up and bringing you along with me. In the next episode we will install them into the car. I did film the installation with this video, but it ended up too long. So I figured id make 2 videos instead. Make...
How To Restore Faded Windscreen Wiper Arms | 1998 Honda Civic Coupe EK/EJ8
Переглядів 228Рік тому
In todays episode, I'll be restoring the wiper arms on my 1998 Honda Civic EJ8 Coupe. This is an extremely simple way to clean up the look of your car. I do apologise for the very poor video and audio quality. I'm still figuring out what works best for particular videos. This clearly is not a good video, but rather than waste the content, I might as well post it. Anyway, hopefully someone will ...

I know what you're thinking! "why is this idiot building a crappy Honda Civic 20 years too late?". Well, to answer that question, we have to go back to the good old days of cheap Japanese cars. You know what... I'm not going to sit here and justify my reasons. I just want to. That's my reason! I love these cars. I've had 2 hatchbacks before this coupe. I absolutely loved driving them. Painful to watch him having no idea what he’s doing
The engine is not running cleanly . Tight cam chain?
This one has had a programmable ECU fitted . The rev limit is 1200 RPM above factory . Engine damage is possible at this speed for an extended period .
2024 and I just bought one of Facebook marketplace and I need to try and get it running yay
Lads cheers for the video, I’ve picked up a 3he but the oil cooler is the version on the oil filter. Does this mean an engine swap has happened
I just painted mine black and they look the same lol
Hello! Thanks for the video. Did you disconnect the battery?
Sirf India me hi chapri nahi hote, ye h bkl videsi chapri! 😂
looks better than before at least
Bro what about coolant change where to drain it?
how to torque was the rear sprocket?
I love that other countries do learner licenses. It'd probably save the lives of some folks in the US... you can buy a 200hlp 1000cc bike here, day 1, and I think its a tad ludicrous.
Great video. Such a great tip about not having the bike in 1st to rotate the chain. My brush got caught in it once and it just dragged it though the cogs not way of stopping it. Scary thought if it were fingers
Thank you so much this video saved my life and me returning mirrors for no reason, I have a 2017 Honda cb300f and The handlebar complexion is the exact same thing I could not figure it out for the life of me you saved me thank you again
I get 4L/100 out of mine and I dont baby it
Givi looks nicer
👏nice one. You should track the bike too - even more fun. Short Q for you - going to derestrict a 2020 Triple 660 through TuneECU and an OBDLink LX in the near future. Wondering if you used this method and overlaid the downloadable 31037 map? I know yours is 2019 so might be VIN-dependent regarding the map coding but looking for someone who may have gone through the process. Cheers.
My 2019 has the 30111 map on it. It's fair to say it's slightly different. It is a very easy process. Just download the stock map for your bike, then download the derestricted map, then copy the throttle map from the derestricted one, then paste it to your stock map, then upload it to the bike. If you have any trouble, message me on Instagram, and I'll do my best to help you with the process with screenshots and whatever else I can.
@@onecolektiv Thanks. Interesting you say the difference is only slight. I've had the restricted bike on track up to the same speed of your 1/4 mile - shows how well the fundamental set up of these bikes is. My understanding is the main changes are noticeable over 6500 RPM. Is your throttle response quicker? I definitely notice the restricted bike being a bit lethargic out of tight corners. Cheers.
The way the restriction works is by halving power with the throttle map. Basically, you only have 50% throttle above 6000 rpm. So, when you de-restrict it, all you're doing is changing that throttle map to 100%
@@onecolektiv Yep, that's pretty much my understanding. Thanks a lot - I'll get in touch if I get into problems.
Easy done. Enjoy it.
Dang, that rear tire looks big even for a YZF600? The FZR came with a 140
Hola tengo un civic casi igual, el mismo color y compré un líp parecido pero el modelo de mi parachoques cambia un poco ya que es año 2000 voy a intentar instalarlo
Brilliant 😁. I own a 2006 Victory Hammer. 100ci 1634cc I ran 12.68@101 mph 80hp and 103tq at the wheel (59kw and 139nm). My bike weighs over 700lbs (317kg) with me on it.
I got my bike at 745 miles it’s now at 1400 should I do this yet ??
thanks for posting this.. after watching this, I'm definitely gonna pay the experts to replace mine . much obliged ! 😜
Thank you for this little video. I will install it on my Cb300r 2018 :D
Purchased a el hat hatch with teggy seats and came with the back ones too but they didn’t really fit snug might need to shove something underneath them
I feel like they could have done this in 3 pieces and you just have to take the center off first... super weird how they connected them all like that.
What about the black rubber, does it get in after filling the oil in the brake fluid receptacle
Great vid , btw where did you buy the adapters for the leds?????????
Great video, mate! Going thru financing as I type this on a Tiger!! Belly pan looks bad ass!!
What is your height and weight when filming the video?
You over thought it Scuff Primer Paint Clear Still looks good.
1996 98 et 99 00 are not the same
et phone home
I've had the damn globe sitting in my glove box for weeks and I knew about Supercheap doing it for a small fee but I wanted to feel like a "man" haha and thought I'm not going to get anyone else to do it, as I'll figure it out myself... cough cough bull shite😂 but something kept preventing me from doing it as it's probably just laziness but also I can't help but feel relieved that I didn't try and do it myself after hearing about the electrical stuff being screwed without those clamps. Your video has probably saved a lot of drama with people like me as I know those car electricians aren't cheap. I'll definitely leave it for Supercheap. I'd be spewing if I had to fork out hundreds of dollars just to fix the command centre thing. Much appreciated video. Cheers
Really appreciate rider insights from an owner's perspective. Thanks for making this.
Thanks excellent review. 👍 hi from Brisbane Australia 🦘
I have GSR blue confetti seats front and rear in my 2000 civic hatch you just need to do one side rail and it bolts in perfect and all the wires plug in. It tells me when my seat belt is unbuckled this is the easiest nicest swap for a little oem plus flair
Which side rail do you have to swap?
@@punpunproductions1579 I really want to say from memory the inside one on each seat. If you look at the civic seat and integra seat one will be identical so you don’t need to swap it just the different one so it mounts to the civic chasis like factory.
technically, you only need one on the driver side
Holy crap could the license plate be any bigger
if it was a kick start you both would have given up and changed the fuel. It is way cheaper than either, not to mention much better for the engine.
is the same 9:35 pulling off method applyable on the 2020 Street 660 ? because there seems to be adittionnals screws on mine and i cannot take it out like you (i don't think i can, should i say)
The 2020 is a slightly different model. I'd say it would be a different method.
@@onecolektiv i think so, thanks bro
Guys, its almost easier to just unbolt your front bar and take out the headlights, espeically if you dont have small hands
this is one bike i feel it looks better WITH the original set up
Hey man Could you please share the dimension of the 5 Allen bolt holding the tail? It was removed from my bike by the previous owner and the tail is vibrating a lot
On many motorcycles, these included, it's insanely easy to change from standard to GP shift or vice versa. Just flip the collar. Done.
Hi did you find out how to derestrict the 660 ?
Bro wanna sell the brake lever?
When you had the indicators the wrong way could you have just seapped the connectors (plug left into right and right into left)?
When is switched my seats from my ‘98 Civic LX with a set of ‘98 Integra seats the Integra seats sat really low in the Civic and it felt awkward being so much lower. Did you notice this with yours or since you put the civic rails on did it raise them up to the level where the stock seats sat?
I was gonna get some, but think I’ll pass now.
Do you have the *derestricted* video mate
where did you acquire this lip ?
