    He takes some amazingly beautiful photos of nature. Some of his rare jaboticabas came from our nursery. It’s neat to see someone starting a nursery with some of our fruit trees. And some of our trees came from him. Trading rare fruit trees is the best way to go. Very cool Paul!

    Its would be nice to let go of the remaining lawn. Fill them with trees or create a meadow.

    He's right fruit trees don't follow the rules. In the wild, they grow closely together. Hope they gave you some casava cane too. Like breadfruit, sweet potatoes, and taro, they're a Polynesian staple. Cut the canes to about 8-10 inches, stick it in the ground, and leave it be. Another great tour of these two's edible collections.

    The white sapote variety is Denzler supposed to be nice size and sweet. And the starfruit they mentioned is Sri Kembengan it is reliable and sweet.

    What’s a nam wah? There are so many trees you both mentioned with no explanation (or identifying label) that novices like me have no idea what you’re talking about but would love to learn. I don’t know anything about UA-cam either (other than posting) but I have seen other channels post labels just like when you watch a cooking show and they type the ingredients as they add them to the recipe.

    Why grow something if you can't eat it? Answer: For wildlife. Who is going to pollinate your fruit trees if you don't provide food, host plants and habitat for pollinators? Plant some native flowers and shrubs along with your fruit trees!

    • @chrisevans1213
      @chrisevans1213 Рік тому +1

      We also have natives growing in our yard and sell some natives.

    • @georgweyand88
      @georgweyand88 Рік тому

      Great. I think the space above the septic tank and drainage area would be usable for a native wildflower meadow since you can't plant trees or shrubs there.
