Thanks so much for being here everyone! I appreciate each and every one of you :) Please let me know in the comments how you go about hugging someone you're interested in on a first date! Let's go, let's grow! ✨
That's a nice accent he has. A handshake is the proper thing to do on a first date. The hugging is just way too much on a first date. If you like them, just say "I had a great time" and smile at him. If he likes you and wants to see you again, he will PURSUE you and make his interest 💯 known.
Hi there! You're the second person to mention just doing a handshake. I personally am a first date hugger. At this point in my life, it's pretty rare for me to go on a date with someone that I feel uncomfortable hugging. That being said, in the case I don't feel comfortable hugging, I'll just say bye and keep a good deal of space between us. Thank you for the comment!
Hi there, thank you for the comment! Yes, this video is more for the end of the date. For the beginning of the date, if you're seated when they arrive of course be sure to stand up, make eye contact, and smile when greeting them. If you've never met them before, I think a handshake is perfectly fine. If they go in for a friendly hug, then that works too. I wouldn't overthink and just let it flow naturally. During the date, be sure to ask your date questions. I've been on a lot of dates with men who don't ask me much about myself which is a turn off. I think this often happens due to nerves. I hope that helps :D
Does hugging a girl get you friendzoned? I finally got a number from a girl at my gym after telling her im attracted to her. I then hugged her because i used to shake her hand lol. Then as i walked away i ubbed her arm.... is that "too much,". I don't want to be frendzoned 😅
Hugging a girl certainly does not equate to being friendzoned. Tbh if someone is friendzoned I don’t think it’s ever one thing but a variety of things that added up to not being romantically interested. In any case, that’s simply not your person! But the right person who is going to be interested in you regardless of if you shake hands, hug, etc. The most important piece is communicating how you feel / that you’re interested in a second date.
It just feels weird 😐 I don't get it.. For me hugging feels Almost like a violation of personal space... And you don't know how to do it and then it becomes even more strange and weird and feels,, Just doesn't feel good... And humans do this a lot
Girl shook my hand before and end of date, and still said she had a nice time and scheduled a second date...idk how to even get to the hugging part right now, about to go on 2nd date...
No need to rush the hug! If she told you she had a nice time and scheduled a second date, she's clearly into you! The hug will come in time. If after the second or third date there's still no hug and you'd like one, simply communicate that. "Can I give you a hug?" For me, it's sooo attractive when a man just communicates with me. :)
@@RebelFitz Thank you, you're right and I thought about asking her if I could hug her, -- but I've read about how some women find that attractive while some women say "if you ask to hug or kiss its a turn off" and want the guy to more confident and direct. But on the second date, I walked upto her and she took out her hand while I opened my arms at the same time for a hug, and she readjusted to hug me lol, it was slightly awkward but turned out ok cuz she still wants to hang out.
I think the best advice is from people who have what you want. If you want a healthy relationship get advice from people in a healthy relationship. If you want to be fit get advice from people who are fit. Keep whatever advice resonates or feels good to you, and discard the advice that doesn’t.

This sounds like how it should be at the end of the date, but how should you approach at the start of the date?

Odd recommendation. Just stick to cooperate handshake.
Hi Devin! Ah interesting, you just give a handshake after a first date? Nothing wrong with that!

I personally enjoy hugging people that I’m comfortable with but if hugging isn’t for you that’s perfectly okay!

Yay! That’s great news! Thanks for sharing :)
The best way for men to remain single is to take dating advice from women.
@@misterchubbikins I think it’s the opposite but agree to disagree :)
@@RebelFitz are you femsplaining males lived experiences to men?
@@misterchubbikins why are you so bitter?
@@ArifFajar2144 no bitterness. Just warning men who may stumble upon this channel of misinformation to not buy the lies.
