I actually learned that I could roll my windows up by holding the key in the locked position on my X3 from this video. So cool that the DNA of this BMW is in mine from decades later.😔

My dad used to own an E32 740. We didn't have half of the functions displayed in this video lol. Car was still great tho, even 25 years old it's ride was far better than low/mid class sedans produced in the 2010s.
Love my '91 V12! Using the Manual transmission mode to launch the car when the signal turns green--an awesome feeling! I still have it, doesn't run, but still looks great! Someday though...

Despite the age of this BMW, still it has a very impressive technology. The heater for the outside mirrors will turn on automatically when it's below 41f. When you put the vehicle in reverse, the outside mirrors tilt down very quickly.
It s an option when you re buying a new 750... "Moustache rapid grower". You got to pay 50.000$ supplement... Very usefull... In the emirates,they ve also got an optional "beard rapid grower" on a special edition s bmw...

Owned my 1991 750iL since new. Has 166,000 miles on it now. Never had a transmission issue and never had a service advisor. Auto climate control never drains the battery. Not sure where you got all this incorrect information.
@maxboya Worked at a BMW dealer for 15 years. So many 4HP24 / 4HP22 failures the PD kept units in stock. Kind'a well know that rev'ing the 4HP22/24 in neutral would burn up the clutches. A common practive here at the time becasue our emissons testing required doing so. Also some older drivers trying to warm up their car more quickly in the winter. So many electrical problem wth the E32, pinched wires etc, somewhat common for customer to complain that they approched the car and CC fan was running just sittng n the garage followed by dead / weak battery preventng starts. I can tell you many of these cars were scrapped for wiring harness isses. The wires are too many and too thn. Glad yours is OK, they're not all the same. They drove great at the time though until Lexus came along and did everything better for awhile.
