Gravenberch has been a revelation. As Slot has said, the energy the midfield three are showing without the ball is outstanding, allied to their technical abilities. Liverpool also has Endo who showed what a great CDM he can be last year (remember that game against City?). Gravenberch is only 22 and has a massive future ahead!
In Ajax, everyone trust and even rely on Gravenberch, so he shines. In Bayern, he lost the trust and in turn, his confidence. In Klopp's Liverpool, he's already half man. Even Klopp's given chances, he made dodgy decisions and didn't want to take the risk, like making half turn, etc. So Grav looked average but there's still glimpse of his quality, here and there. But in Slot's Liverpool, he regains the full trust from Slot and his team mates start following the cue. More importantly, Grav himself step up and takes the challenge with both open arms. He start doing and unleashing the things that made Bayern other big club wanted to sign him as a teenager.
@@Alien_Cuts What a dimwit simpleton. He play three positions during his career. He can play as 6, 8 or 10 And competition is exist even if we trust someone. That's how adult world works, naive kid.
I am grateful to Klopp when he takes the risk of signing former wonderkid "who lost his touch" (thx to bayern don't give him game time). Now he is showing his lvl and probably will grow more in the future. Same thing can be happen with Juventus throw away Italy hero Chiesa who is struggling with injuries.
Let’s be honest Klopp is a genius because Grav and Judd Bellingham were the 2 players coming up destined for stardom but Grav had a set back going to Munich couldn’t get a game
The problem is not that he has impressed, he did that last season as well and was known as a top talent in Bayern and Ajax. But somehow he has never managed to keep his form stable. It might be attitude or personal problems or something. I really do hope he comes good, but let's not forget it's only 3 games. Curtis Jones has similar problem, he can show up and have 2 good games and then next 2 games he looks like he should be playing in the Championship
@jonb3150 i mean in ajax he performed wel in almost every game. And at bayern he had rough players to compete against at his age. We all know how tuchel thinks he always has his favorites he wont step away from those players, same problem he had in chelsea. I think he will be a great addition to the team this season.
Gravenberch has always reminded me of Paul pogba in his abilities, frame and style of play. Amazing to finally see him showing his level, hopefully he stays fit 🤞
He was never given the game time, and when he did, had little time with the ball at his feet. So glad to see this has changed, the guy has so much talent
I have said it all along…. We should not waste money on an average 6. My own view, unless we can get Touchemeni or Rodri, we should not do it. Graven, Morton, Bajcetic and Endo this year knows our style and can do great job. Graven at 6 reminds me of Viera who was one of epl best 6 ever.
I watched him play against united and i was amazed by his performance. I was also amazed by the fact the commentators were mentioning nothing of how well he was playing! So fair play for u to spot this and make this accurate judgement, thank you!
Ryan was an amazing talent, but as we are used to at Ajax they always go directly to a topclub with players that are near impossible to bench in front of them. Just glad he finally gets to show his potential again and be the star we know he can be.
We don’t need any players, awe have a well balanced squad until the end of the year, great video, Gakpo and Gravenberch will be great. I love the fact Slot is so tactically astute and has made Jota a number 9 so eases the pressure of Nunez. The subs bench had quality cover for every position too, which was awesome.

Yeah I don’t care about the goals win nothing I’m still stuck on the berches driving run for the first disallowed goal this guy is another level and he’s not back at his best yet is still to come …
Klopp knew Ryan had this potential, but I wonder why Klopp barely played him and couldn't get the best out of him? Also, I wonder why Klopp changed the way he used Dom. Dom started off so well for us and so many were saying he could be the next Gerrard. But for some reason, he started to use him defensively and he wasn't going forward so much. Tactically so far, Slot has been better then Jurgen specially defensively and the pressing from them under Slot is like how we used to press when Klopp first took over. Slot basically plays a similar way to how Klopp did, but has tweaked a few things and seems to have made it better. It might also be down to the players renewed enthusiasm playing under a new Manager for the first time in years and a new way to play.
Klopp has always been very stubborn. The winning formula for him at Liverpool was a midfield full of workhorses and people who could run a lot without getting tired, which is why he tried to make his new midfield play like he made Hendo/Gini/Milner/Fab play, which obviously didn't work. Klopp's pressing at the beginning of his tenure with us was also far more relentless than what Slot is making us do right now. Which is why we used to burn out every single January
spot on comment!! That workhorse midfield was used to tidy up and compensate for the aggressive highline which left the 2 centre half's exposed as the fullbacks were so high. Once that midfield started to break up and burn out the team was never quite the same.👍
There were some issues at the end of Klopp's tenure. VVD was looking disinterested on the pitch in most games, that's whey we conceded so many goals first. He seems to have put that behind him , maybe he wants a new contract with improved wages. Szoboszlai started well, but like many players who come the PL and show their quality early on, there's a drop in performance around November, because the pace of the PL is relentless, and the succession of games takes its toll. For example Costa scored 14 goals in six matches for Chelsea at the start of his London career, and then almost stopped scoring afterwards. Casemiro also explained how he needed to adjust to the PL and was finding difficult as football was played at a more laidback tempo in Spain. It's no surprise the PL garners so much TV money, because most fans know that it where the competition is toughest in terms of the effort needed by players to keep their team at a competitive level.
Agreed, except one thing. Gravenberch didn't suffer from any competition at Liverpool. He had difficulty adjusting to the Liverpool hard pressing kind of play, but now the wait has started paying off.
I’ve been hugely impressed by Ryan so far this season. He is as technically gifted as Trent and Dom, but the thing that stands out for me the most is his potential to recognise and release his strength for reading and disrupting the opponent’s play. If he can harness his gifts for intercepting the ball more regularly and for sensibly imposing his physical presence, then along with his technical abilities, he is legitimately world class
@@christopherhall619 That's because football is played at a snail pace in the Bundesliga, and the players who ply their trade there are fresher when it comes to play against PL teams, especially if the game is in the second part of the season. People also seem to be forgetting he's merely 22 years old. He went as a talent from Ajax to Bayern at a young age. Now he can finally settle in and show what he can do.
Ryan Gravenberch's brother Danzell plays for my local club FC Den Bosch. He's not as smooth as Ryan but he's a silverback gorilla-shaped striker. We love him 😁
I can see future of mid of Bajcetic, Graven and Szobo.. both Bajcetic and Graven can double pivot and if we need to play single pivot we have seen Bajcetic kicking the crap out of Everton giant midfield and wipe out Man U attacker in pre season to get the ball. Graven can play 8 or 10 making insane number of combi. Add to that Macca… we will have best midfield in world.
I think it's not just about the competition in midfield last season, hell we lose Szobo for almost half season because injury. Bayern just did dirty to him, we can see it in his first starting match for Liverpool. He was SO out of touch (because almost no game time for a year) & has low chemistry with other player. But there's briliance & vision in his game. He kept trying to do his things even it makes him looks bad, result 1 assist in that game. That's when I know why Klopp signed him. Now he is showing his level when he performs, He is not failed wonderkid. He has the will to reach his potential.
All power to Ryan at the moment. He has the chops but needs to play and get a few more games under his belt to really test his metal. Endo is not scrapped by the way. Plenty of games coming up where his own skill set will come into play. All good so far. Early days though and hopefully this reformed style of play will help with injuries as it all seems a little less intense. YNWA
Listen, its just 3 games into the season and it's 1 game PER WEEK, once it becomes 1 game EVERY 3 DAYS, everyone will realize we do need more squad players to win something. Liverpool is 1 or 2 injuries away from being serious contender this season. Dont get fooled by the stingy owner
@@Goldgotgame world class club usually run with 8 SENIOR MIDFIELDERS, and liverpool only have like 6 currently, thiago and matip released on a free, so we need at least 2 good players to replace the available slot
Why waste the money Steff at RB this season really smart move klopps staff running RB so safe progression for him also Morton on loan plus young Ty who shone in preseason no need to waste money
Why are Liverpool fans always focused on their players getting injured for them to be in a tight corner in terms of personnel on the field when the new manager has started to rotate to keep them fresh unlike Klopp's heavy metal football with less rotation, which is actually a plus to their availability this season 👍
Liverpool has indeed developed a strong reputation for their smart and strategic approach in the transfer market. They often buy players at relatively low prices and invest in their development, turning them into top-level performers. This approach is evident in players like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Andrew Robertson, and Virgil van Dijk, among others. These players were not necessarily the biggest stars when they arrived, but under Liverpool's system and management, they evolved into world-class talents. The club’s focus on data analytics, effective scouting, and a strong coaching team has been a key factor in identifying undervalued talent and optimizing their potential. This approach not only helps in creating a winning team but also ensures sustainable financial management, aligning with the club's long-term vision.
Iv new all along Ryan has it all to be a phenomenal player infact iv always signed him on FIFA I no that don't mean shit but honestly Iv seen his ability from day dot I garuntee in 5 years time he will be seen as 100 million plus midfielder
I'm not sure how we should know that this is his level, he couldn't get PT at his prior club and then was all over the park at times last year. Still, I could NOT be happier to see how he's playing, and fair play to anyone who truly saw this coming.
Dutchie here: I think its time to look at Liverpool not with numbers 6 or 8 or whatever. This is a refined version of Total Football'. And in this way a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 system isn't a thing anymore. Slot could say he playes a 1-3-6 system, or a 6-2-2 system. What matters is how good or bad his players perrform.
We still need a quality 6. Ryan can't be asked to play all these games and Endo won't give us the same quality. Depth is always needed. Ryan has been quality though, and will be better as the season goes on.
Im a liverpool supporter but the amount of content on Slott and our players just because of a 3 win start is well over the top. Promising but everyone calm down!

Can you imagine there's people out there that rate Jones and Elliott over Grav? Albeit last season Grav had a few stinkers in the 8. Never behind Elliott or Jones, shocking stuff from the gaffer
I'll be the first to admit I did not like Gravenberch under Klopp. Lacked confidence, poor body language - Generally looked frustrated. But the lad has been reborn this season and looks like an absolute baller, I'm excited for him to step back on the pitch in a red shirt this Saturday.

Maybe we should also factor in that players from other leagues need time to bed. Firmino struggled in his first season and then exploded afterwards. I don't think it was all down to Klopp, like it certainly isn't all down to Slot with RG.

People also seem to be forgetting he's merely 22 years old. He went as a talent from Ajax to Bayern at a young age. Now he can finally settle in and show what he can do.
Okay my G you got me. Subbed 😎❤️💛💚🖤✊🏿🇯🇲🏴
former dutch internationals consider Gravenberch to be better than Bellingham once he reaches his full potencial
Yeh yeh lets wait and see :) (im dutch)
Ryan Gravenberch's brother Danzell plays for my local club FC Den Bosch. He's not as smooth as Ryan but he's a silverback gorilla-shaped striker. We love him 😁
Damn they don't even look related! :D
@@JreTV-ib3en Danzell is his XL big brother lol
5:38 Then we see his legs open up?
PAUUSSEE 🤣
Chilll 😂
Big pause😂😂😂
I'm actually too scared to watch this!
Very good analysis I’m impressed by him too but only 3 games in
All power to Ryan at the moment. He has the chops but needs to play and get a few more games under his belt to really test his metal. Endo is not scrapped by the way. Plenty of games coming up where his own skill set will come into play. All good so far. Early days though and hopefully this reformed style of play will help with injuries as it all seems a little less intense. YNWA
From the 1st time I saw him play for us you could see he was a baller.Just needed regular game time
Also mate put a big push for ur channel and make more content, ur page will become the no1 lfc fan page !
My promise to you guys… i WILL drop consistent videos 🫡
Listen, its just 3 games into the season and it's 1 game PER WEEK, once it becomes 1 game EVERY 3 DAYS, everyone will realize we do need more squad players to win something. Liverpool is 1 or 2 injuries away from being serious contender this season. Dont get fooled by the stingy owner
Tbf, the only positions that are lacking is the defense. But even if we get injuries in the midfield or attack, we’ve got plenty players to cover
Squad depth typically doesnt become much of an issue until the second half of the season, theres talks of lfc going back in for zubimendi in Jan

More to come!
Busquets looked composed😮
i thought when we initially signed him was to play at the 6. yet kloop preferred him as an 8 box to box type. he tried to play him like henderson tbh
Iv new all along Ryan has it all to be a phenomenal player infact iv always signed him on FIFA I no that don't mean shit but honestly Iv seen his ability from day dot I garuntee in 5 years time he will be seen as 100 million plus midfielder
Gravenberch is the man
Our Busquet.
Even more technical than Busquet
he looks like a yaya regen tbh😭 what a player hes turning out to be, glad that ryan is thriving
our new patrick viera and mc allister petit lmaooooo
Not getting Zubimendi is the biggest blessing in disguise we couldve hoped for
I'm not sure how we should know that this is his level, he couldn't get PT at his prior club and then was all over the park at times last year.
Congrats you know ball, boss video
We still need a quality 6. Ryan can't be asked to play all these games and Endo won't give us the same quality. Depth is always needed. Ryan has been quality though, and will be better as the season goes on.
Im a liverpool supporter but the amount of content on Slott and our players just because of a 3 win start is well over the top. Promising but everyone calm down!
Good channel bro. 👍
keep up the content
Real talk bro
As a Real Madrid fan, Gravenberch is a player we need to look up to this season, Real Madrid might come for him next season lol...
Ryan is a baller for real ! Just needs that little bit of steel and he’ll be a lot better . The more he plays, works on scanning the play before it happens the worlds his oyster.have faith in the lad I’m sure Arne Slot has………… COYR’s 💪🏾
Nice one. Watch the highlights of the last 2 Netherlands Nations League games yet? He was standout player in both. Did you see that cross volley pass to Xavi Simons? Man! 💥💥💥
The LFC fans wanted a new number 6 all summer, Arne gave them the best one for nothing ??? great credit for JK in signing him, and also Arne in spotting his best position straight away.
Can you imagine there's people out there that rate Jones and Elliott over Grav? Albeit last season Grav had a few stinkers in the 8. Never behind Elliott or Jones, shocking stuff from the gaffer

One is not enough for a critical position as a #6!!
Too soon fam. EPL is a Marathon. Consistency is what we've struggled with in the past.
Patrick Vieira, we are coming for you! Like that!
I'll be the first to admit I did not like Gravenberch under Klopp. Lacked confidence, poor body language - Generally looked frustrated. But the lad has been reborn this season and looks like an absolute baller, I'm excited for him to step back on the pitch in a red shirt this Saturday.
Yah bro there's no need to get no6 we got Ryan❤
Yes Ryan gravenberch is good
But we need depth of the team
And quality of players you should highly
If he can keep the level up all season then I will be impressed but it’s only been 3 games.
Gravvers is on fire
Sometimes you just need someone to believe in you. At his age and the right manager he could be the next big thing in 6 position at Liverpool . I’d hate to
Sign someone to halt his progress. He been a important cog in the reds new style under slot 👏 gravenburch for 6 for me ✍️
Maybe we should also factor in that players from other leagues need time to bed. Firmino struggled in his first season and then exploded afterwards. I don't think it was all down to Klopp, like it certainly isn't all down to Slot with RG.
Lets not forget how the Eric ten hag era started at Manchester united and how its currently going
Its an good start, thats all indeed.
