The memories of 1995 of myself playing this in my mall are still so strong even in 2020, K.I. made me almost forget about M.K.2 but not quite as I could play both side by side and appreciate them at the time. Things I never understand: why some think the original Riptor (not the new one) was female given the ending. It never says Riptor laid those eggs... it makes more sense, IMO, that they were just more engineered individuals from Ultratech.
Thunder's ending is the one that doesn't make much sense since Spinal is the one who killed Eagle in the previous tournament but here it's revealed that Spinal was probably Eagle which doesn't make sense since is a warrior from over 2,000 years ago brought back to life by Ultratech and it was never stated in Spinal's Biograph for him that he & eagle are the same (where as in the original comic books and in the reboot storyline, Fulgore has been revealed to be Eagle in some way) I think Rare just made this ending weird and confusing as it is just to have people talk about it for goofy fun expectation reasons~
@@jupitermonkey5687 this the most likely answer i believe. Don't think they had enough resources to make a whole new sprite for Eagle's corpse so why not use the skeleton already in the game

Not as good as the Arcade version, but still an awesome port. Riptor and Combo's were the funniest, with Black Orchid's being the best ending.
