  • 4K Japan walking tour - Miyajima Island Tour in Hiroshima. (宮島の散策 広島県).
This is a 1hr walking tour video of Miyajima Island in Hiroshima prefecture, Japan. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations from Hiroshima city, and is a short ferry ride away from the city.
After a few days of nonstop cycling, we had some rain in the forecast and decided to have a change of pace and have a "normal" tourist kind of day walking around Miyajima Island. This is day 6 of our 2020 Japan cycling trip, and you can watch the full playlist here: • Japan Cycling Tour【4K】...

My wife and I were there in 1983 staying with an aunt & uncle who are both now gone. We were on our way to tour China, which only a few years prior was still a Bamboo curtain to Westerners. My memory of Miyajima was the emphasis of wooden rice paddles as the island souvenir, guess that has paddled away now.

Whatever happened has its reason and i do not feel any "unfortunately" about it and i wish you will feel the same too and replace the above "word" with something more positive. Keep up the good work. All the best in your new workplace and looking forward to your new experience sharing. Thank you so much in advance.

I couldn't help but notice how spotlessly clean it was. Not even a candy wrapper on the ground. Would you and Thuong do more of these walking tours together, please? @Nguyễn Xuân Phúc PM my wife comes from the Philippines. I've been there three times now, and I would have to say it is much like how you describe Vietnam. I love the people, so friendly and hospitable, but no matter what town or city you visit, it's much the same. They are just dirty and run down. Shame, because I had thoughts of living there with my wife. I know she would like that as she would be closer to her family, but she knows that after time i would be miserable there. She is very thoughtful and understanding. We do, though, go back to visit when we can. At least with insurance money and built up equity, if something should happen to me, she would be able to live quit nicely with her family with no financial worries. I can at least provide that for her.

Thanks for the tour. We were there in 2016 and it brings back many fond memories. Many more deer and sidewalk food vendors were everywhere selling delicious seafood (grilled oysters, octopus, fish). I remember it took 15 min to get a clear photo on the shore edge in front of that big red torii because there were so many people. ⛩️🦑🍡
Hope you were able to try their special okonomiyaki and visit the atomic museum and other sites and foods. 🗾🙏
54:40 Periwinkle snails. Tasty snacks in Vietnam steamed or sauteed with lemongrass and chili or tamarind. Ốc xào me, ốc hấp sả ớt
We almost attended a Carp game but were denied at the door because it was sold out. Even tried buying extra tickets down the road but everyone was just looking at me like I was insane. I guess ticket scalpers are very rare in Japan. 🧢⚾😜
