This is probably the most solid performance of Sanitarium I've ever heard from them in a while
I travelled all the way from Hungary to Denmark just to attend this concert and I can say that it has been arguably the best musical experience of my life so far. It is so great to see them rock even over 50 and putting out such a masterpiece with Hardwired... to Self-Destruct almost 35 years after Kill 'em All. The best band on the planet, no doubt about that. Keep rocking guys!

I wonder why they don't play much of Load/ReLoad these days. It's kinda clear that many fans want those songs.
Frankly Frank they still aren't anywhere near as well liked as their other stuff. I LOVE those two albums, they're actually my favourite apart from Kill 'Em All, but I get the impression they're still very much underdogs
This was a pure awesome show, glad James got well enough for playing these 15 songs! It really made my whole year better having that experience.
I have been listening to Metallica since I was 2 years old, and it always stuck with me, through my whole musical journey, and now I have a really wide taste, I just love music, there is such good experiences to get from it.

The first solo sounded pretty bad to my ears. He definitely hit at least two wrong notes and his phrasing is really crappy.
The second solo was pretty good, I guess.

love em or hate em, they are metallica. no one else will be. im 42 years old and remember when i first heard them over a fuzzy reception radio station and i never heard anything like them before. nobody sounded like that. everyone has their opinion about them and thats fine. but much like led zepplin, metallica was a staple in in music. i prefer the sound they had way back then, but things change. long live metallica!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do play drums. From my point of view lars playing is often times amateur. someone with 4 years experience can play the same, if not better than lars, who has had near 40.
I've been playing drums for 4 months. I can already play a lot of Death Metal, Groove Metal, and Black Metal, and I'm in a band.

I pay everything for see again the old metallica , when they played with the powerful , furious , rage , angry and speedtest, but now they play slowly , obviously they are old, but they can play more speed again . I wish see the old metallica like the 80's on 2017 again . please more speed.

You can use your computer sound settings to raise the pitch by one click and this will sound just like the album version. That's what I do on most Metallica live videos and it makes them sound much better.

I'm usually a pretty harsh critic of Lars (since I came up with Metallica back in the 80's and seen him at his best back then)and I gotta admit he nailed this one.

Well, for one, he cant keep a steady tempo in this song, and his obnoxious fills dont help.
This is not the best example if you want to dismiss Lars critics.

Out of tempo, mindless fills (seriously, does he need to make a fill in every bar? He literally hits the snare because he feels like it and not to contribute musically). An amateur can pull this off with just 4 months.

A good example would be The Thing That Should Not Be Live Adelaide 2012, or Atlas Rise at Hong Kong.
TTTSNB (The Thing That Should Not Be) live Adelaide was the best; if not a perfect performance from Lars live.
I rather like the way he played on the Bogota version of Atlas....those rhythmic tom fills before Kirk's last solo are very tasty. Especially for Lars.
