I couldn't agree more... but you heard this already in the video... 😉
I hope you added this to your collection as you seemed so excited. You could feel like that every day with this funky pilot on your wrist ; )
Moser is fast becoming one of my favourite brands... Alexander is great at this.
Don’t blame me if your credit card 💳 gets stress! 😂
@@WatchAdvisor you are so right... 😂

Thanks, Alexander for another terrific video. I haven’t much followed the Moser brand but I really like this simple and elegant timepiece. It celebrates a bygone era in watchmaking. Looking forward to your follow-up January 9. Happy New Year!
David Levin There is so much interest about Moser that we need to do more videos about the brand... Please click on the link to get a first impression: www.h-moser.com/en/company#history_1805 Looking forward to the 9th and for today to our Live Chat that starts at 19:00 CET... maybe you want join in...
Edouard is moving the watch industry forward, his out of the box ideas, his critical thinking and innovation for both product and go-to-market put many Silicon Valley companies to shame. Many industries can learn from him. Count me on board; I’m in!
Love your comment! Thanks for sharing...
Awesome video. Im in the process of purchasing a Pioneer Centre Seconds in blue. What a stunner! Cant wait for the video! Moser is so under appreciated in todays market. Great video Alexander! Happy Holidays to you and everyone at WatchAdvisor.
Agreed! A stunner! My colors and these wonderful Globolight numerals... Go for it, go for it! What you will see January, 9th will also blow you away, but is something totally different ...
Thank you for your trust!
This such a beautiful wristwatch! Do you agree? And PLEASE let me know what you think about the new Globolight numerals. Globo what? The answer is given in the video ...
WatchAdvisor Globolight looks impressive, I must say. But are Moser just “catching up” with what other brands have recently achieved ?
That’s for sure a more popular design... It’s what I would call bread and butter and helps Moser to quicker amortize the investment in the in-house automatic caliber... The design is in line with the brands history, so for me absolutely ok...
WatchAdvisor Agreed, my friend 👍
This channel deserves more views and subscribers, excellent work.
Thank you very much! Love your comment! We are still young and steadily growing with the best audience in the world ...
What a gorgeous piece!!
I realize I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Emerson Chaim Flixportal :D
@Denver Aarav Thanks, signed up and it seems to work =) I really appreciate it!
@Emerson Chaim You are welcome :)
I love it! Beautiful
Is it a coincidence or do you know that I will review a new Moser soon?
Love the video, as usual, but the watch kind of leaves me cold, maybe if I saw it in person, or got to film it myself, it might change my mind 😉🤔😏😁
Give it a try! If in general you don’t like the style though it will be tricky... In terms of quality & make a top notch...
Wonderful, what a gorgeous blue. As for the secret watch if it is the one on the gentleman’s wrist it looks like a brushed case finish Chronograph perhaps on a metal strap, I can’t see it clearly enough but it looks a handsome watch just from the wrist viewing!
I will write soon Alexander. Happy New year to you.
Try it on your wrist! best is always to go for a touch and feel... Looking forward reading from you... Einen guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr!
I like H. Moser Cie. as a brand. The watch presented is very beautiful.
.....and happy new year!
Happy New Year too! Bread & butter for the brand... they need to amortize the investment in the development of the own automatic caliber ...
I ❤️ Moser!
cps7553 👍💪
For clarification: Are the hour markers a mixture of both ceramic and super lume?
Yes!
Finally, a Moser that I can mosey around with!
Joseph Knecht Let me be curious. What prevented you doing this with some of the other models of the brand?
@@WatchAdvisor This watch is both elegant and sporty: in my view, suitable for most occasions.
Joseph Knecht I hear you and I agree...
Gorgeous flieger. The wire lugs look awesome too.
More than this! Simply a very, very beautiful sporty-elegant wristwatch ...
Ich bin kein Fan der Moser Uhren aber die gefällt mir schon sehr gut.
Danke für das Video und den kurzen Einblick!
Dann unbending die einmal näher ansehen... wer weiß entsteht da noch eine Liebe für die Marke...
Moser dive watch in the future?
thawasly I have no clue! 🤷🏻♂️
Please tell us the size of your wrist so that we can understand how the watch fits.
H C 17,5 cm
This is one of the most beautiful watches I have ever seen
I 100% agree!
Such a fine watchmaker
Sorry I didn’t catch the Price tag...?
mentioned in the description of the video ... 13.900 CHF including VAT
I have this watch and it is a beauty...
Thanks for sharing! May your HM&C continue to always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours …
Hello WatchAdvisor, Hello Alexander (aka Walter White ;-)),
Happy New Year! Best Wishes for 2020.
Thank you for the great video.
Dear Moser friends, thank you everyone for the comments.
I'll try to answer as much as I can. And hopefully you all will like what we have prepared for January 9!
Cheers!

Edouard, its good to have you among us! Next video we will do is about you and your career as a singer and songwriter ... 😉

Numerals are Zenith Pilot-esque ...
As with all the other brands using this particular (military) design it is part of the H. Moser & Cie. history... So neither one other competitor, nor Moser owns the design. So this is not a copy & paste action, but a legitimate way of reissuing a watch... This watch together with the other versions is the bread & butter collection for Moser. It also helps to pay back the enormous investment made to build an in-house automatic caliber ...
It looks very similar to the Zenith Pilot although two different price groups
Kan Ho Similarities to Zenith? Please look for answers I’ve given before here in the comments...
I’d like to see them offer green and red dial variants and perhaps even a salmon dial with blued steel hands, indices, and printing as well. I’d have to put a strap on it that matched the dial color. I’d also like to see them offer all of their models with automatics. I’m a big fan of HM&C; beautiful watches!
JumboJetPilot The overall quantities are too small that Moser could do so many variations with each model and the in-house automatic caliber is quite big, so it won’t fit in all cases. To develop more automatic calibers to me makes no sense since it is incredibly expensive and time consuming...
WatchAdvisor The only variation I ask for is dial color - and they already do that, just not with this model. A watchmaker really only needs a few models; just a few. But take each model offered, offer it in a wide variety of dial colors, dial hardware/text printing options, and leather strap options, and each model can then feel very unique; almost like the maker offers far more models than the few that they actually do. It also allows a customer to get something bespoke. Plus it removes the pressure of a maker having to continually update their line up. Armin Strom does exactly this and it works very well.
As for automatics - that’s how they should have done it from the start. Manual winding simply isn’t practical for some would-be customers like me.
@@jumboJetPilot I am sure Edouard and his team is reading here, so your comment is in good hands. You never know which one could be next. The salmon one would be very, very cool I think... Still take under consideration what I wrote above 😉
WatchAdvisor I hope they do read what I write! I love their dial simplicity. That said, I do need hour indices. Not necessarily minute indices but definitely hour indices. My next watch will be an HM&C. I love what they’re doing!
@@jumboJetPilot Thank you for your comments.
We love colors at Moser so of course you can expect more colors in the future. We haven't yet planned the next color for this line so I'll keep your comments in mind.
If you prefer green, check our Pioneer Center Seconds Cosmic Green...
After their talk about lume I was dissapointed to say the least, it went from really bright to almost gone in a few seconds.
The dial tho, simply gorgeous
You are referring to 2:57 ... This looks more dramatic than it is in reality... we should have filmed it with a wide open aperture setting... therefore it is also the fault of the camera... This is not the attempt to find an excuse ...
Just Wow...
Dave Lee For the moment just wow... January 9th you may agree or disagree...
Zenith Pilot?
Wrong! Please read in some of my other answers to this statement why the Heritage Centre Seconds looks like a Zenith, a Patek Philippe, a ...
A brand that has been a grail for a while and I agree that watch is stunning. Love the 3D lume numerals, the blue sunburst and the lugs. A slightly thinner case and an onion crown would of been the icing on the cake but it’s lovely. I’m really nit picking there! 👍😁
The in-house caliber used is quite thick, so it is impossible to make the watch thinner... An onion crown in fact would have looked very cool! Still, as it is, the Heritage Center Sesconds, is a stunner - at least for me...
Thanks for your comment. We build the case around the movement and it's difficult making it thinner.
It is always a trade off between size and power reserve.
Heinrich Moser Wow thanks so much for your reply Heinrich, I am truly honoured. I do understand that, and like I said was been really picky. Sure people including myself would prefer a longer power reserve than an ultra thin case. Looking forward to the new release by the way, not long to wait now! 😁
This is the trend now , back to the future.very nice
Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
That’s how you do it Patek! This is beautiful, Patek’s not so much.......
Alison Smith De gustibus non est disputandum! The Calatrava Pilot Travel Time is a nice watch, but I’m with you... the Moser with its new Globolight numerals is a true stunner...
Smart looking watch
pesoso78 Absolute cool to see it from a micro brand like Moser and absolutely in line with the history that started in 1828 ...
Are the screws at the bottom of the watch holding the lugs in place? If so, any danger of they becoming unscrewed and the watch falling off?
The four screws fix and hold the case-bottom into the case and have nothing to do with the lugs. The latter are soldered to the case...
@@WatchAdvisor thank you for the response.
Beautiful watch, i love it! When is the price revealed?
13.900 CHF including VAT. The price is also mentioned in the description of the video...
@@WatchAdvisor That's a bargain! Thank you very much Alexander!
@@obud3777 If it’s a bargain or not depends on the size of your purse... For what you get at Moser it is value for money...
@@WatchAdvisor Only Rolex and Patek Philippe is value for money; but i still want that H. Moser & Cie!
O Bud Many other brands as well, especially those from Swatch Group... We are talking about value for money and not keeping value, aren’t we?
Love Moser, beautiful watch!
Yes, very beautiful and still very much underestimated... But this is what many like with H. Moser & Cie. ...
a GMT option would be great for this beauty.
100% agreed!
Well they have come up with the dual time with the red dial.
Beautiful wristwatch, will the price be revealed on Jan 9th ?
13.900 CHF for the watch shown in the video. January 9th we will show you a complete new Moser watch and also publish the price of this watch...
Very nice timepiece. What is the price?
Adriano Banak 13.900 CHF ... please check the description of the video for more details ...
Very nice blue!
Dial and numbers remind me very much of the Zenith Pilot. Very beautifull!
Luca Chinellato In fact the design is NOT a Zenith and/or Patek Philippe design, but a military design. Also Moser has such a watch in its museum and so it is legitimate to reissue it.
@@WatchAdvisor Yes Alexander is an air force military style. Beautiful!
Beautiful execution but a little too retro for me. Should fit in nicely with the vintage and hypster crowd.
Will fit there and I predict also on “normal”/“regular” wrists... Take me as an example... I’m neither, nor and I find the Moser pretty cool...
Robbie Williams, now doing watches ?
respectanimals2 😂🤣👍😁
Thanks.... now everybody in the office calls me Robbie...
That’s pretty good , he’s a charismatic handsome bloke , flaunt it dude 👍
good sense of humour from both of you
I am happy you liked the video! Thanks for your feedback!
H moser vs jlc which is better?
It’s like BMW vs. Mercedes or Mercedes vs. Audi or BMW vs. Audi... I can’t answer the question since both manufacturers are operating at a very high level and do sell watches without a flaw... I know that’s not the answer you probably wanted, but in this case I can’t do better 😉
WatchAdvisor if you had to choose bw jlc reverso duo face and moser pioneer which one you would go for?
The Moser Pioneer since I am not a fan of rectangular watches...
WatchAdvisor do you own a moser watch?
Anmol Singh No, I do not. Not yet... 😉
IWC has a serious competitor coming...
Not really! H. Moser & Cie. plays in another league... much more exclusive and luxurious than IWC...
@@WatchAdvisor ha, totally agreed
Their watch is very unique
Absolutely ... and look what quality Moser delivers...
Is similar watch Glashutte Original Senator ....
May I ask you which one you have in mind?
It's just an opinion, but the H Moser looks a lot like the Glashutte Original Senator Excellence Ref; 1-36-01-03-02-30. But the Senator has 50 meters of water resistance and the H Moser Heritage has only 30 meters of water resistance.
Other point to consider is the price; Both are very similar. The Calatrava looks like the jaeger lecoultre ultra thin, the Cartier Tank Solo XL looks like the Reverso and the lamborghini is the Ferrari competition. Same but different in its history, birth and genetics.
I didn't want to bother anyone with my comment: H Moser is better than many companies.
My admiration and respect for all those who work in WarchAdviser.
I own a small jewelry store and I live in Nicaragua.
The dial is beautiful
Yesssss!
Lovely Pilot watch, both the mix of dial and the molded numerals, but 3atm = don't crash your plane in the ocean.
Tested to 50 meters to absolutely ensure the 30 meters, so there is a bit of safety 😂
@@WatchAdvisor :-D Yes, hope the rescue arrives in time.
I‘m a big sucker for blue dials - sadly an H. Moser is completely out of my world...
SkysaxonDragonslayer So welcome to the club my friend... 😉
Walter White?
Aaron Lee more like Mike Ehrmantraut..😉😂
Joshua Dantis 😳 I could be their double/stuntman... people have been mentioning Walter White quite often, now we have Mike Ehrmantraut too ... 🤷🏻♂️ Hope to see you in two hours for our upcoming Live Chat...
Great video Alexander but for me Moser is a brand that was setup to just take advantage of the newfound craze for mechanical watches post 2000s. Suddenly sticking the label of Moser or Ferdinand Berthoud or such , buying the rights to ancient drawings etc. does not make it the same Moser that can "draw from its history" from 1930s. or 20s or 1830s whatever.....
This is a new company thats just been setup to take advantage of the hype, with some dodgy family relations etc from the past ....just like many other microbrands......
The family Meylan (father Meylan was the former CEO of AUDEMARS PIGUET) has invested a lot of money in the brands they have gathered under their little holding. Edouard Meylan took over a ticking marvel founded in 1828 and has clearly given the brand an USP... I agree with you when it comes to those micro brands with no future and no history... H. Moser & Cie. , MB&F and Ressence are different for me and those who have a clearly different approach...
You are right many brands are trying to leverage that craze. Moser has been producing watches from 1828 until the 1980s, they faced issues at that point and went from one owner to another until it restarted properly producing in 2005 under the helm of entrepreneurs including the Moser family. We (The Meylan Family) took it over in 2012 at it faced numerous challenges.
I believe that Moser has an amazing history and offering ( i am biased of course) and therefore there is a place for it.
Time will tell
Looks nice but id never buy it. Not something that brings this brand to the frontline. Just too similar to whats going around. Blue dial, pilot antique. Expect more. First they make fun of other brands then they release this mediocre piece.
No, no... That's not fair! It is a watch inline with the brands history since these dials existed in the 1920s and also later ... It is more fashion-like and less no-branding-under-the-radar we are used to see with Moser. But still, mediocre is something else! Sorry! I simply don't agree...
WatchAdvisor you should buy it.
Greg M I probably will, since I really like it. Let’s see how the year 2020 starts and what other brands are presenting next year. In principle this H. Moyer & Cie. is already on a short list...
An another "historic" aviation model already seen at the neighbors from Schaffhausen, and some other competitors from Le Locle and even Geneve?! Come on Moser, you can do much better and create your own original designs ... no need for copy/paste ;)
As with all the other brands mentioned (at least by location) this particular (military) design is part of the H. Moser & Cie. history... So neither one of the mentioned, nor Moser owns the design. So this is not a copy & paste action, but a legitimate way of reissuing a watch... This watch together with the other versions is the bread & butter collection for Moser. It also helps to pay back the enormous investment made to build an in-house automatic caliber ...
@@WatchAdvisor Yeah maybe your right about the link in Mosers history of this specific aviation model but still didnt expect that this avant-garde watch brand would be following this crszy and boring trend of historic model resurrection in the lack of new ideas that the majority of watch brands are presently doing... After the swiss cheese watch, nature watch etc I was just expecting something in the continuation of H. Moser style. Cheers
Pete's Timepiece Safari 9th January you will discover something you will like... Be sure to be back at least then to see the newest H. Moser & Cie. watch ... And maybe we see each other tomorrow Monday for the Life Chat ...
@@WatchAdvisor Looking forward to see whats new again at H. Moser! Cheers!
I’m glad lm not a shareholder of this company - another case of an established failing watch manufacturer been taken over- now putting out overpriced “in house” timepieces relying only on past honours - or trying to - this looks like a direct design steal to me and for the bucks they are asking l say common sense dictates buy the Rolex!
Joseph Pykett The client of an H. Moser & Cie. gets a very fine watch manufactured in very small quantities. The buyer of a Rolex gets a very fine watch manufactured in huge quantities. 1.000.000 per year. You choose ...
@@WatchAdvisor Anyone who chooses a boring Rolex over one of these needs to get their head examined! Oh wait, he's a Rolex fanboy, why are you bothering with appeals to watch horology and established facts.
gmshadowtraders Many choose a Rolex as their first watch. Many choose a Rolex as a status object to define their rank among others. Many just by a Rolex because someone they admire wears one. Many buy a Rolex because they are told that the watch keeps its value. A minority buys a Rolex because it is a good watch, yet a perfect watch...
