A Landy called Noel, episode 9

Just a super short vid, A lot of effort went into moving cars around that wasn't filmed. A big thank you to my old friend Yan who's help that day was invaluable. He helped me a lot back thirty years ago when I first set up my classic car restoration business - it reminded us both of those halcyon days.

Why do we torture ourselves with these old buggies?
Because they are so bloody cool!
They endear themselves to our sole.🤯( and we are gluttons for punishment). Lol

@@calsurflance5598 Hi Lance, it is a strange relationship one has with one's Landy. I can't really describe it to a mate who doesn't get it. (Because they don't go fast), but the love I feel for my Landies is very strong.

I went to show my Landy to a friend and she immediately said
“ I want it!”. 5 minutes later, another woman stopped right in the middle of the road and said
“ your car is so cute, I had to take a picture”. If I go to the hardware store it literally draws a small crowd.
They are understandably more common in the U.K., but here in the U.S. they not often seen. Here in California they are very rare.
As I was working on it yesterday, I noticed I was grinning like the Cheshire Cat .
It’s not a pretentious car, so people don’t resent it like some flashy sport car or a $100,000 lifted truck that is all show.
It makes people smile just looking at it.
They are just fun!
