    Considering buying the JJ. That’s how I happened upon this video. Watched the whole thing and was thoroughly impressed. Great editing, videography was excellent, good mix of humor, etc... Hope more people find you and subscribe.

    Nice video! We bought a jumping jack this year and have loved it, but there is a serious lack of videos of them in the wild. I’m glad I found yours!

    I bought the 17x6 back in March of this year. My family has loved it. It saved us from having to go out and waste more of our hard earned $$$ on a 2500 truck and Toyhauler camper and getting further in debt. It is very easy to set up and plenty plenty of room for our toys.

    What a nice review. And kind of glad you got rid of the motor bike…my dad rode motorcycles when I was little, but said that after the third time he skidded out on wet leaves on a turn and got banged up along the road, he decided that was as hurt as he wanted to get and sold the motorcycle. Fun, but you can get hurt on them.

      I do, thanks! Our air mattresses don't fit that way. But for folks who aren't such sissies about air beds as us, that's the right call.

    Nice video,. Thanks for sharing! How does the Tacoma handle hauling your JJ and the SxS when loaded? Particularly interested in how it handles the Colorado passes.

    Why not make a frame to connect the single beds, to create a dbl or queen bed, opposite of the door side? Then reconfigure the cushions.
    * Might be able to use the table as a bridge, like many campers do in the dining area.

    Well I'll tell you what that was a fun watch :-) a little slow in the middle perhaps and some of the camping shots, but overall love the light-hearted silliness of the whole thing music was perfect. Nice job man!

    What about the warmth retention in the JJ? i assume because of the canvas and zipper build it does well in the elements? We have a baby now, and wanted to get something a bit more... controllable haha

      We did well with the Buddy heaters. But if it gets really cold, it would take more. Some people use diesel heaters.

    • @WorkFromHomeFriday
      @WorkFromHomeFriday  2 роки тому +1

      Another thing we had to learn: Air beds will suck the heat right out of you. Through trial and error, we figured out we can wrap them in a cheap comforter and then use a twin fitted sheet to keep the comforter in place. This insulates us enough from the air bed.

    Can it handle a 50-60 mph wind like a Springbar tent can?

      We've never camped in a windy area, but many others have. Check out the JumpingJack FB group and ask there. You'll get answers.

    Take a drill and drill through your ramps and the 1" sq tube they use for top rail.."Weak" I modified my jj by replacing the 1" with 2" sq tube 1/4" wall thickness for strength then drilled holes through my 10' L x 18" W folding Titan ramps and the 2" sq so I can pin the ramps while using them.Much safer

    So is this a 2 person tent? I have 3 little kids and a wife.

    • @WorkFromHomeFriday
      @WorkFromHomeFriday  6 років тому +1

      If you get the 12' tent, there'd be plenty of room. It feels giagundous if you're used to ground tents. S'pose you could put a kid or two on the floor. And with kids in there, you DEFINITELY want to do the jack stand trick to keep it from rocking all night. I suggest you find a place that has a couple in stock so you can see for yourself.

      Me, My Girlfriend, my Dog and My nephew (and his brother is up an coming) - will fit no issues. I have the 6x12 - best choice for us all. Haul our motorcycles and when the boys get of age - their quads. Worth every penny !

    How warm can you make it inside with the buddy heater?

    • @WorkFromHomeFriday
      @WorkFromHomeFriday  3 роки тому +1

      Our two Buddies kept us plenty warm. But, we haven't used it in really cold weather (summer nights in CO seldom get below the 40's), but I know many others have. You should ask this on the JJ Facebook group, where there are winter hunters and such. facebook.com/groups/197470893599998

      Well buddy.... considering it's capabilities, what it comes with as standard, and the price you're going to pay for a Toy Hauler trailer and the almost necessary 2500 truck to tow it (if you don't already have one), this trailer is a very viable and attractive choice for many people which will save them a considerably large sum of money
