  • Lower crossed syndrome or LCS is a physical condition where a combination of weak and tight muscles cross the lower body. This results from inactivity and poor posture. Signs of LCS are an excessive forward tilt of the pelvis and an increased arch in the lower back. Symptoms are pain and tightness in the bottom of the low back and possibly pain in the hips. If not treated, strength, flexibility and range of motion may decrease. Over time, this can lead to degeneration in the lumbar (or low back) vertebrae and chronic pain. This video is designed to prevent and address the condition.
