mine says memory card error so i need to buy another memory card that's fit for the cam😭😭😭😭
try reformating the sd card in the setting. Worked for me.

@@sandyaroha6608 also there is a 2gb limit. If your sd card is over two gigabyte then it wouldnt work.

u just need to buy new batteries💀.......i have one too and evn i have to buy new batteries😭

Just found it at the bottom of my drawer and I see it's missing the contacts for the batteries, I wish I could get it somewhere because it would be lovely to see it working again.
Its a very nice Camera...Its video mode is excellent 1gb card can record 20+ min of good quality video
Its a great camera, I just made a video mode test for my channel, it has great video. It may not be HD, but still great for filming with.

that was my 1st camera until it fell of a tripod, never use a bad tripod always but a decent product never slack off its a fact of life

I have one and its photos are overexposed. Does anyone has ever opened it? I can't find another cheap camera with so much functions as options.
I came here hoping that he will explain how to use those function buttons to set the time and date for the camera for example instead of just pointing to them saying what they are for.

I have this camera which I purchased at the HSN and it came with a nice canon printer as well. I really lucked out on this purchase because they were having a special. My problem is that I don't quiet know how to manage the camera. I do take photos & videos but I don't know how to use the features that it has nor do I know what they mean. Is there a video that you-tube has available on the actual functions of the Canon Power Shot A460 & where can I get it.

my first camera, my parents had it i think before i was even born and used it to film and take pictures of our adventures since until it broke for no reason and as technology becomes better and it eventually became forgotten
I have bought a canon 460 power shot camera. they are very good in picture and video result. one day my son return the camera and found out there is something wrong. I brought it to the service center. the service man said my warantee had expired. told him when under the sun the picture is over expose. he charge me P250 for check-up. but before check-up, he is charging me P4500 to change the lense . a friend introduce to someone who me only P1500 . in general, your distroy ur good name.
I bought mine in 2007. I still use it today. Yes I could pick up a better quality video recording one for £50 but I think that might be just spending money for the sake of it. 640x480 10fps? It seems faster than 10fps when I watch some of my sample videos back.

yes i have that camera power shot a460 i like it very much but i have one problem i dont know how to used wt by my self ,i mean to take a picture wt by my self without the help of another person
@tattoozombiegirl the camera is meant to come with a camra to tv cord. you plug the single ended side into your camera. (youll find a circle slot for it) and plug the other end of the wire with 2 plugs into the tv. yellow is video, black / white is sound. then put your tv onto TV / AV or VIDEO INPUT. turn your camera on, and playback. wala

this camera is the best.. better than 7.1 MP kodak.. and cheaper
