    Excellent recovery BGA chips are usually 1 % gold by weight. You should still add sulphuric acid to the aqua regia to get rid of any lead that might be present. Also use distilled water when boiling in HCL the chlorine in tap water may dissolve some of the gold. Although you can still get it from your stock pot.

      Urea until it doesn't fizz any more, use just as much nitric as necessary and you could skip this step. Boiling the solution for a while also removes excess nitric.
      SMB until no more gold is in solution. Test with stannous chloride.

    Guys learning, the chemicals the easy part, a monkey can do it, and all materials on Amazon or AR Walmart! The physical work sucks and is worth it if you have a to of material to process. But you should learn 1st by refining a 2-3gram 10k gold ring. Its easy, cheap, and you learn what happens each step. Most process to little to see the gold their 1st time (I did 3 times). I moved to karat scarp, learned 1st try, and now have done ozts!

    Well i like watching your Chanell however there is one particular problems with this video
    The gold you extracted is not 24k ....
    Hence when you get a green solution and you drop gold from it it’s contaminated with other metal/metals probably zinc or nickel. You should have neutralize by adding specific chemical before even making AR. What you need to do is give the washed material a bath in just nitric acid with hydrogen peroxide. By doing that you will remove all base metals that could contaminate the solution later and makes the process much easier.
    Otherwise the whole process is just useless as you recover contaminated gold which you should reprocess again by bathing it in nitric , then ar again and dropping and melting.
    I like your content but please make sure that you show the stuff in a proper way.

    • @OmSoHum7467
      @OmSoHum7467 3 роки тому +5

      BGA top part hasn’t any lead or nickel, only gold wire bonding few amount of copper... You know copper doesn’t drop as gold sediment with smb adding... And I filtered the AR twice of time... So the gold has drop as 24K... When your gold sediment is not smokie or cloudy as in bottom of water body and looking cristal clear_ you can going to melt your gold powder. .. No problem... It's a experience...
