I regret selling my Coach leather bag. It was vintage nut I wasn’t using it. Now it would be great, it had a top handle and could be worn crossbody. I totally forgot I had the matching small wallet too…..😢

I had several rounds of cleanup last year. I kept all the bags I used most even though I had not used them for last few years, cos I know I will fall back in love with them again once I start to use them.
That is definitely the way to go! Keeping the bags you know you will come back to:)
I completely agree that our styles can change especially if our lifestyle does. Thanks for sharing the reasons why you let these items go and prices. I really enjoy these types of videos. That's frustrating with the Loewe bag but as you said there isn't anything you can do about it now and it makes sense to try another type bag. I hope you find the perfect everyday bag soon! Xx

My hubby doesn't understand that my tastes change with time, and so I have let go of some bags and some slgs. I've lost money on each one but sometimes that's just the way it goes. On slg's I've let go of, I have re-purchased mini pochette and key pouch that I had sold prior but when I replaced them, I bought them preloved so didn't pay current retail.
50 years, my taste in fashion still continues to change & evolve. It’s never ending!😅
It is totally natural for us to evolve and change over time so the bags/SLGs we need/like change too! Glad you repurchased the mini pochette and key pouch at reasonable prices!
The toteme tlock clutch has a similar slouch to the puzzle and the tan color is stunning!

I had the Neo Noe for a couple of months, but then I started seeing it everywhere and I hate that LOL also, I didn't like that raw canvas edge and was paranoid that it was going to start cracking. Thankfully it was still hyped and I got almost all of my money back.

I've had my puzzle exactly like yours for years now and just a few weeks ago bought the edge one in pebbled leather. I'm not bothered by the new look of the edge, all I care about is its functionality so I still went for it. I had the chance to buy the old puzzle model in black but the dark grey color of the edge caught my eye. Hope you give the edge a chance haha

Bravo for sharing so openly! It helps us keep in mind what factors to consider as our tastes and lifestyles change and also how sometimes we simply cannot predict the future and what we would need. I think you might have a regret abt the puzzle but you have way more experiences and triumphs, it's all part of the fun of having luxury collection. ❤ Ps: you totally influenced me to get that Dior pouch, it's definitely something special, I'm in love with it!

Hi Isabelle, I’ve been watching your channel since the beginning and saw how you curate your bags. You mentioned the Loewe puzzle bag and I agree that it is a very functional bag. I also used to have it and sold it also but have you seen the new puzzle bag edge version? They have a lot of color choices and look less edgy, a little cleaner to the eye I think. I just bought the sand color and I think it is so pretty.

Very good video! You thought through all your sales, and also it only matters what you think. Evening bags are so tricky because they are so lovely but you really do need to have a certain lifestyle to justify the high price point of the designer versions. I have a few vintage evening bags that are beautiful and unique that work well.
I was so surprised you sold the beautiful puzzle bag. It’s on my wish list! lol. Yes, the new puzzle is not nearly the same bag. I don’t like it and may have to consider pre-loved.

I honestly think full sized wallets won’t be necessary.. I mean I already haven’t needed a full sized wallet for a while now!

I agree with VCA. I have the 5 motif Chalcedony and Agate bracelets and they are not your every day bracelets. They are pretty but they seems too delicate for my lifestyle. So I sold it to a friend and bought myself a cartier and I never regret it. I wear my cartier 24/7 and not worry about anything.

Shame your VCA necklace didn’t work out because I think that would suit you. I have never bought the VCA pieces as the stones are too fussy for everyday use.
I also agree with the 50% who thought you should sell the puzzle bag. Now it has been discontinued everyone will forget about it and the resale value will drop off. You sold it at the right time. ❤

Hi Isabelle it's totally okay to change our bags as our lifestyles and needs change over time! A bag is just an accessory and so as our lifestyle, needs and styles change over time our collection should be allowed to changed together with us. If we carried everything we bought since birth our place would look like those hoarder homes! By the way you look like you've lost much of your pregnancy weight! Hope you are doing well!

Your lifestile changed but in the next years will change again and again. When my daughter was born I used small bags because I carried all her stuff in the baby car. Now she is almost four years old and I carry all in a big tote and didn't use my puzzle maybe in a year. But she is going to grow and grow and someday I won't carry her stuff anymore. So I keep my beloved puzzle for the future.
I can totally see what you mean.. I agree, at the moment, I am still carrying small bags mostly as I have a pram/large nappy bag all the time. I can see that this will keep evolving until we don’t need to carry kids’ stuff anymore..
I agree- when my daughter was born (and for almost the first 2 years) I really only carried my LV key holder. I put everything else I needed in her diaper bag. Now she’s almost 3 and I’m carrying my bags again, and especially my neverfull so I can throw all of her stuff in too 😆

I hear you on the price of the puzzle bag. I have bought and returned that bag because I just couldn’t justify the price. I think if it was priced as it was in 2020 or 2021 I wouldn’t hesitate, but the prices in 2024 are just insane.

Our styles and tastes change--and that's okay! It really shouldn't concern anyone else imo! And it's not like you chucked anything in the bin--now other people can enjoy the items you no longer do and thereby extend their lifecycle! =D

Why do you think about resale when you buy? You purchased the item because you like the item, period. If you think the $ is not in your comfort zone, then do not buy in the first place.

Disagree with your premise that you’re allowed to change your mind. As an individual you ARE. But as an influencer, if you influenced us to buy these pricy things, then yeah we’re gonna comment negatively when you abandon ship. It’s just comments, that comes with the job.
I see myself as an individual who shares my thoughts and purchases on youtube, not really an influencer. This is also definitely not my job but a hobby. I also paid to get these items with my own money, so yeah, I am allowed to change my mind. Let’s agree to disagree.
Isabelle IS an individual and we are all allowed to change our minds and have regrets and triumphs like any human being does. I think maybe question why you think the responsibility is on the influencer when we all have free choice to decide what we want to do with our money. If I watched an advertisement and decided to buy something, I wouldn't blame the actress starring in the ad. Likewise, if a friend made a recommendation, and I decided to take in that advice but it didn't work out, I also would take ownership for my decision. I hope this helps clarify the concept of boundaries and ownership for you.
