Palestine, Hebron - One thing we looked most forward to was our little trip to Hebron. Hebron is a illegally occupied city in the West Bank and holds one of the most significant religious sites. Therefore it has always been a place with much history and conflicts.
We went there by bus, and it was actually weird being the only non-Jew people in the bus, because normally non-Jews don't take this route. They have to drive much longer routes including different chechpoints. We had the tourist-bonus.
Arriving in Hebron, we were surprised by how empty it really is. The buildings were left, the stores where closed. There were just a few people on the streets, who vanished behind big walls. It was a strange feeling, walking in this "ghost-city".
We finally arrived at the Ibrahim Mosque and felt overwhelmed by the history and significance of it.
Our day in Hebron was really short, but still one of the most memorable parts of this trip. It helped us understand the situation much better.

Hi, ja wir waren genauer gesagt im August da und sind rechtzeitig noch rausgeflogen! Aber man sieht, egal zu welcher Jahreszeit du dorthin fliegst, die Situation ist immer angespannt! Wann warst du genau dort?

Please let me understand, where did you feel it was a prison? Where did you feel apartheid? Was there a place they didn't let you go because you are Muslim? by bus? In the places of worship? What a lie! When i traveled to Jerusalem they had the SAME thing entering the city for the jewish side, muslim side, and christian side. Its just protection/security checkpoints.
Please, write "checkpoints Gaza" in Google visuals.. they are referans to the general check points applied to Arabs.
