If you feel unsafe in Palestine, maybe you should question the acts of the Israeli government.
Why do they act some random civilians though? if they want to see them they probably want to support them.
it's cool that you are visiting palestine as a friend. you will be surprised to hear that people generally do not mind Israeli's or Jews visiting as long as they're visiting as friends not as occupiers. the Israeli media wants you to believe that you will be murdered if a jew enters palestine, but people generally are very friendly and welcoming. Just keep in mind that it is illegal for israelis to enter palestine zones A under the most recent agreements the same way a palestine cannot enter Israel. you will not be imprisoned if the police catch you, but they will ask you to take you back to israeli areas (worst case scenario).
the reason people do not want an israeli filming them is because israel routinely uses facial recognition to make lives harder for people caught on film doing anything out of the ordinary. I was protesting in palestine against the 2014 war in gaza and when crossing the border to jordan they pulled me aside and told me because they found a photo of me at the protest, I am put on a terrorist list and cannot reenter my country after leaving (a ten year bad).

You know, I am not trying to sound negative. But, I also traveled in Palestinian towns quite a few times. I have been to Ramallah, Bethlehem, the Arab side of Hebron, Shechem, and quite a few other places. It was almost always fine. One time a friend of mine and I walked into the Silwan Valley. We were trying to find a Biblical site, we saw in an old tour guide book. We were walking and some Palestinian kids asked us in Hebrew, "what is up?," and we responded in Hebrew. Because we responded in Hebrew, they realized we were Jewish. Immediately, one of the kids splashed me in the face with a cup of water he was holding in his hand, and then they they started throwing rocks at us. I mean, they were kids, but getting hit with rocks is still extremely scary. Thankfully, most of the rocks hit my legs. Also, thankfully, an adult came running over and started to back them up, and we kept moving quickly. So, yeah, I mean, basically, most of the time it was fine. But, man, that was a very unpleasant experience.
I’m a Arab American with some family living in Ramallah. It can be dangerous to be an Arab in parts of Jewish dominated areas and Vice versa. For example I would not visit Hebron without a tour guide, as I’m sure you’re aware tensions are heightened there. The best thing to do is to keep a low profile. I only speak English to the Israelis military. They tend to treat you better then if you speak Arabic. Just be careful, there is a lot of hate there unfortunately.
You know, I am not sure that I think the two Palestinian girls were being racist. I think it is also possible that they were just so surprised that they didn't know what to say, because they have never met an Israeli walking around in those areas. I will also say one more thing. When I was walking in the Silwan Valley, it was 2017. I think there were about 5 or so houses that were owned by "settlers" right at the top of the hill going towards the entrance gate to the city of David. We were walking down from the top of the hill, but we went further and we traveled about three or four streets deep into the Silwan Valley. Now, I realized after the event, that it might be that some Palestinians assume that any Jewish people who would walk in that neighborhood are trying to see if they can a get a house or a piece of property. I just realized later, that there can literally be political implications when two Jews walk into a Palestinian neighborhood that has already had a couple pieces of property purchased by "settlers." Although, I don't know if it is the same thing with the two Palestinian girls, because no Jews have bought property there. But, I am saying that they might have just been completely confused about why an Israeli would go into that neighborhood. They may have even wondered if he were some type of undercover police, although they may not have had time to articulate fully why they felt strange about it, you know. I just mean, it might not be as simple as they were just "racist," in some of those areas.
@@theisraelig5162 I’m not, it’s not every village. But some are very intense. Particularly some villages near settlements in the Westbank. Especially in Hebron. @@theisraelig5162 I come from a nation of law, order and tolerance of others. When you go to Israel or Palestine that tolerance simply doesn’t exist in some parts. If you want to point the finger at “the bad guy” and act like one side is 100% innocent then that’s up to you. Most of the settlers just want to raise their families but there are extremists within the population and many of which would like to rid the entire territory of The westbank of any Arab. Sorry for writing so long. I want to be fair to my former teacher and the Palestinian refugee. I might delete this comment later as I am ranting off-topic.
I want to add something about the Moroccan teacher. I described his absolute worst. And it only happened one time. The rest of his life he was a great person. He was a very competent instructor, a loving teacher, and a kind of paternal figure. He never ever was violent, never raised his voice, never showed angry. Never was he presumptuos or unclean. He kept Ramadan with a smile sorrounded by ignorant people that ate snacks all day around him oblivious to the fact that Ramadan exists. A gentleman and a scholar.
The Palestinian refugee was also a nice man and a good muslim. He happened to have an encyclopedic (and very accurate!) knowledge of jewish history in Europe and especially during World War II. Perhaps he studied so much looking for an answer for why he suffered so much from the occupation of his homeland. Obviously he does not like the occupation but seemed to be very mature about it. I always knew I would pay a price of remorse and impurity for being a zionist (or supporting zionism from abroad). He knew of my jewishness yet treated me very kindly. That day the remorse price inside my psychology hit harder. I'm still a Zionist, but feel it is a moral duty to push harder for better treatment for the Palestinians. And to push harder for a settlement that is better than the current situation. Palestinians deserve dignity, freedom and prosperity.

I went with my grandson in the US for prayers on Fri. Jummah
He looked across the street and pointed out a Jewish family with their Robes etc.
He turned to me and said Grandma look over there does are our cousins. They go for prayers on Sat. And we on Fri. I got very emotional and said, yes indeed. They are the people of Prophet Moses
( Peace be up on him)
It is our job to teach Jung children respect for all.
May God Almighty give us
The strength to go thru the Hardship.
And respect each other!
Palestinians are good people.
TODA RABA for showing us the other side. Now I know I have to go on a Thursday! Haha. I am a Jewish Latina, so we'll see how it goes…
¡Saludos desde Toronto! 🇵🇪🇮🇱🇨🇦
I was surprised when I saw the bar guy selling alchohol but then he said he is christian it makes sense.
You are a hero in your own way for making videos like this! ☺️ Hope the content you're showing brings awareness to other people to see not all people in this world are evil. Islamic is actually a very peaceful religion just like Christianity and Buddhism etc. The food looks amazing to eat
Brother well played we need more ppl like u to end this hate butween isreal and palistan 👍👍👍👍👍
@@arielnamatiev3011 who are those ppl in gaza, nablus..etc?? They are palestinians and they live in palestine..
@@arielnamatiev3011 no such thing as Israel, most of you are a bunch of white migrants from Europe. At least Palestinians blood dates back 3500 you clown.
@@Openseason2011 most of us not from europe , and this country is ours.
Masha Allah Palestine is beautiful country ❤️ may Almighty Allah protect them and help them ameen.
For a guy who is trying to be all secret and discrete, you're really not all that discrete about being Israeli...It's like you're courting confrontation or something.
Well, I didn’t tell anyone besides the two girls. Trust me I don’t want a confrontation
This man is very truthful 13:00
U were playin with fire dude, i know u msde it out, but this is a nailbiter, especially what the bartender said.
Human nature core is kindness . At the end of the day we are all equal .killing is not in our nature , it’s evil . Judging is evil , racism is evil . This experience just goes to show that at the core people just want peace .
Wow, it’s crazy to see this place a year ago to today. How shameful this brutal conflict is.
I think I've seen in the comments that this is West Bank not Gaza. Not sure though I've never been there.
First of all this is West bank, and there always conflicts in west bank, from children getting things thrown at by settlers while walking in roads to IDF kidnapping people and taking over their houses whenever they want!
Bro i'm your Subscriber from Indonesia I want you to visit Indonesia the biggest Muslim population in the world Our country full of tolerance we welcome you as Israelis i hope you can visit Jakarta Yogyakarta Surabaya and Bali they all have beautiful places and the kindness of our citizen Hopefully one day you can visit Indonesia
Thanks for the invite bro, I’m currently on the other side of the world though
@@theSalukie really? did they change something? last time I was sure Israelis were banner to enter Indonesia
freePalestine 🇵🇸 #savepalestine🇵🇸
Awesome video bro! I appreciate you showing respect and feeling with the people of Palestine!
I am Palestinian living in america but I hope I see you when I’m visiting Ramallah! (Your secrets safe with me lol)
My brother I swear I always hope for a day where you can go into Palestine normally no issues and vice versa...
Haha .. Israelis can go wherever they want. I pray for free palestine and hope for their children. They don't travel the world after school, they don't even have pools to jump in, barely enough water for daily needs. Especially in Palestine Palestinians are not safe 😭
מרגש אותי שמישהו מעלה תוכן כזה! זה כל כך מעניין וחשוב. תודה רבה לך❤️
Islam conquering the entire Middle East. every minority in the Middle East is being converted to Islam, terrorized or dying. Israel is strong so they have to show some respect but they wish us out of here@@welshy8866
and we live with them long enough to know them. if you give them democracy they will use it against you. no matter what country they live in Muslims only support their Muslim countries and abuse the country they live in @@welshy8866
Peace 🇵🇸❤️🇮🇱
Israel should give the land that be stolen and then it would give peace
@@m.dthedemon4076 as long as there’s people like you on both sides more people will keep dying on both sides. At least understand that your extreme ideology (from either side of the conflict) is the cause of all the violence.
Imagine my grandfather stealing someone’s home and then I go there after 70 years to film how the owners are suffering. Shame on you
Lol pretty sure he’s an Iraqi Jew. Have you ever heard of the farhud. Search it up and maybe you will learn some important and interesting history to get done perspective, then I’d like to hear your thoughts!
@@geozap4518 no my friend. To be accurate it was given to the Israelites. Of whom some remained Jewish while others became christians and Muslims. The Israelites blood runs deeper in the blood of the inhabitants of the land than the imported European jewry.
Thank you Saluki it good that we know from both side of the story there are always both side to the coin right !!
I believe your an good man as a muslim
We just want to love peacefully and not wars
Thank you for sharing this video. It's my first time to see part of Palestine.
I don’t tell anyone I’m Israeli.
Proceeds to tell everyone he’s from Israel
You risked your life to do this vlog . That takes courage. Love from a Somali woman
You're from Somali and you don't know anything about your Muslim brothers and sisters? Do you know what Palestinians have to face as they protect Al Aqsa?
@@yusufdaoud5491 Mate the Israeli government and the settlers is the problem not the Jewish people. I'm not a pro Isreali supporter not pro Palestine. I'm just neutral but I hope peace prevails some point.
Its really a shame you have to lie about your origin and name bro💔 nice videos btw i just subscribed 👍💪
Sweet video bro. I’m American and visited both Israel and Palestine. I also really enjoyed the Dead Sea.
You are one helluva lucky guy, and I'm glad you didn't get lynched. I made a wrong turn once, got stuck on the wrong side of the Kalandia refugee camp, and got my car stoned. Not nice.
