Thank you so much for sharing, I wish I had seen this video 6 months ago. I faced the same issues in my first semester in France in an engineering major, the no feedback, rescheduling, long lectures, a lot of assignments, and loneliness. It was a mental war at some point haha. I would add the absence of the industrial partners, as now we are almost done with the first year, and we haven't heard anything yet. A lot of things has changed in the second semester when I moved. Covid was a factor, but also for me we are the first batch of the program so they are still figuring it out. We sent them our feedback and hopefully things will be different for the next batch.
Hi Maram, thank you for sharing your experience with me and others! It is essential to send feedback; hopefully, some changes will come in the upcoming semesters. I still hope you have a pleasant experience despite the mental war. You are a warrior :)
I feel like and I hope that the poor quality lectures you experienced were about the lecturers and it varies according to the institutions. But as a lover of the Erasmus Mundus idea since I frist heard about it, this video offers crucial info. I've done 2 separate Erasmuses during my Bach's, in 2 different countries and being an Erasmus student was awesome both in Czechia and the Netherlands. I would've never preferred to spend my 2 semester of Erasmus rights in only 1 country. I still feel extremely good about doing it the way I did. And this is basically the reason why I liked the Erasmus Mundus idea. Spending your semesters in different countries with different people but when I think about it now after learning about your experience and how you felt lonely I am kinda scared of feeling the same.
Can you do a video of your whole experience, like how you got accomodations when you move from one country to another, and can you work in the country you're studying in?
Thank you for your sharing. You are really beautiful and you have a kind heart. The information you have shared in this video is really helpful for me.
Not being able to discuss ideas with colleagues and professors is the opposite of what universities were made to Universities are hubs for ideas and sharing knowledge, not writing essays
Hi Lenka! I’m very glad that I found your video because I’m preparing myself to apply for Erasmus Mundus Master Join Degree and exactly the same major with you. If you don’t mind, could you make a video about the interview questions that you got in the interview section. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for sharing your opinions and experiences! I wanna know if that's only happening to the scholarship candidates or just all international students in Europe. I'm just contemplating about studying abroad in Europe. Thank you 🙏
Hi Lenka, i am sharing a small part of my rejection mail :- " on the basis of the specified criteria and the merits of your application file. We regret to inform you, however, that your application was not successful." . So the course I applied for was different from my Bachelors course and my work experience, though I did some online courses & certificate programmes and have also written a review paper regarding that field to make up for it, but it looks like I would have to at least do a diploma course online, if I wish to showcase myself as a suitable candidate for the course. . Please do suggest some more tips as to how to make myself more compatible to the course. Also, I am very thankful for your help through these videos.
Got the scholarship. Many thanks. I shaped my SOP and other documents on the basis of your instructions in relevant videos. Can you make one or two videos on how the recipients of the scholarships should prepare to start the journey.
@@chicacheca Hi Chica. Thanks. I will be studying in the International Law, Global Security, Peace and Development (ILGSPD) program. Again, many thanks for your contents. I played and paused your videos so many times to write down the instructions while I was writing the SOP and LORs. Words are not sufficient to describe the influence of your contents in one of my possible life changing event.
@@lawyermasfi thank you Riad for your feedback. I am sure you will have an amazing experience while studying in Europe! Your success is deserved. Congratulations! 😊
@@lawyermasfi Hi Riad! I am so proud of your achievement. Would you mind if I ask you some questions about this and your professional background in order to prepare for the application process? Thanks!

Do you think it was worth studying in those universities because of their academic environment, or do you think you would have learned the same by studying on your own? What is it that you feel really helped you to grow being in those universities?
Hi Yosef, great questions! I wouldn't change anything, but I would say that with my previous tourism background the EM programme didn't offer much additional knowledge in the field. I find very helpful the last semester in Sweden since it was a country I would probably never choose to live in and therefore I obtained a deeper cultural understanding. What helped me besides that, was the absolute diversity. I think only few programmes will be as culturally diverse as EM programmes.
Hello, I have one question since im considering to join the program. 1) is this degree same as regular master degree? 2) Is it worth being in 2 3 different countries instead of at one university
No, but you can apply for a Master's related to Veterinary Medicine under Erasmus. For example, Erasmus IDOH and Erasmus LIVE, programs which accept Veterinary doctors.
i want to ask... im interest in material science and engineering. Are they teach how to deal with advanced lab instruments, like XRD, SEM? i know u came from social studies, but still, please respond..
@@MelihKurtaran Is they will provide same opportunity as European countries provide basically i am asking about to getting job after finishing masters in Canada or usa, is this really possible then !

Exactly, I often prefer to have neutral expectations and be nicely surprised than be super hyped and disappointed. 🙂 have a great say Layag!
