This must be the most refreshing story I have ever listened to! I am inspired as a young lady who wishes to have a family of her own one day but also never wants to let go of her ambitions. I have noted all the nuggets shared.
Sooooo inspirational, @ Mrs Law you are really opening our eyes as womanwith this podcast. You are really reminding us that before everything else we need to remember ourselves our dreams and aspirations and to have options.. You are really doing God's work and to many more episodes of learning, opening our eyes and mindset ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was so short and sweet,I agree with what this lady has said I left home and moved to a different country before marriage, initially was meant to be to 2 years but I extended got married and had a son and my son as young as he is,he is well travelled and already he is talking about when he turns 18 he will have his first holiday with his mates and the beauty of it all is that we have dual Citizenship.
I think I needed this, thank you somuch. I wanted to find out how you applied mama , I am a physiotherapist and I once tried applying but I had no idea of the right way to go about that. Please assist and thank you for coming through
As far as I know, Middle East take only professional nurses. But it doesn't mean that the dream is shut, depending on your age, I would advice you further your studies and once you are a RN you can apply or you can try other countries like UK then further your studies as you work as a carer
They are part of my dreams which I had before having them. And all the sacrifices I take, they are part and parcel of those sacrifices. It is not ideal but its what works for us❤
Do you realise that when kids turn 18 they live their own lives?having kids should’nt be like a life sentence like she said her kids are happy,in school, well travelled and soon going to Uni.
If you knew her personally you’d know what a great mom she is❤❤❤ the kids gets it all, like this woman doesn’t miss any of her kids’s events, nothing…. She’s always home 😊😊😊just a week ago she was here for the gals matric dance ❤❤❤❤
@@SibsM93we know, that doesn't guarantee a comfortable life in SA. The American currency and it's domestic spend is different from SA. 200 000 quality of life in SA in not the same as 200 000 quality of life in America. I've seen American brag about making 200 000, you can't do that in SA.
Why are you so bothered about her putting herself first ? So are you suggesting she pour from an empty cup ? I mean, she never said she doesn't care for her kids, did she ? Have you spoken to her kids? Did they perhaps say something different? You are the one's that are transferring trauma to your kids by always sacrificing yourselves and dreams and then later in life expect/force your kids to live your failed dream lives..toxic.. if her kids and husband are happy about how she chooses to live her life, then let her be and live yours
We are living in a modern world, why not become modern as well? I believe my kids would have more traumas by having a present but absent mom who was forever working and under paid. Obviously it is not all gloomy and it has pros and cons. When I grew up my mom was working in Gauteng, we lived with our great grandmom in Marapyane, she was doing what was best for us, and we do not have any trauma bonds. My contract is a family contract, my kids started school here and stayed here for 6yrs until they decided that they didn't like it here. We had to do what was best for the family, and they are with their parents more than they would be with me if I was a nurse in SA. I'm very open minded we can discuss this further. I have roughly 70 days paid leave, which allows me to see my kids more frequently, every school holidays they come spent them with us. They know that they can come study here anytime they wish to. 45 mins is not enough to unpack all this😊

That time men put themselves and their dreams first all the time and no one questions that 😢 we have a lot of learning and unlearning to do as women...

@juliamaloka70 informative interview. Totally loved it.
Six figures = 100 000 and above. Its a six digit number
