I visited Longbridge earlier today and had a drive around the site. There's literally nothing left now, I don't even think there's an MG dealership on site anymore. Very sad.
I had a tour of this factory when it was producing cars in the early 70's. I also visited the British Leyland Special Tuning Department based here, which was responsible for producing all the rally winning cars of the 60's and 70's. Very sad that it's all gone now.
It actually makes me angry to see what has happened to the British Car Industry, we had some of the best cars in the World, some great innovations , and sadly let down by unions and shoddy management..
I can appreciate what your doing etc. with this vid, I'm sure it was kinda interesting, but to show an MGF shell on a semi-darkened production, as a title is going to get viewers in hook line and sinker. To watch the whole vid only to be told at the very end that there is nothing was a bit poor.
Great video Tazer. That place looked massive. You guys are having such crap luck lately, hopefully it gets better for you. I loved the music and editing in the video. Keep it up !
Even with 2 of you it is a whole different ball game from solo. I remember 1 late night on my own in an abandoned old ex mental hospital bumping into an ex patient who was wandering around "thinking" I have killed his old doctor. That was a delight.
OMG! Yeah that would have freaked me out too. LOL 100% agree with you, I've done solo explore before that are on this channel (if you wanna check em out check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/3_8ErmGpDAc/v-deo.html) and the atmosphere is totally different. Your senses are heightened and you hear noises everywhere.
Walking around a car factory and we're told "There's some great architecture, kinda industrial". No shit Sherlock. Looks like a public school day trip to me , full of middle class people who wouldn't know which end of a screwdriver to hold
Hey guys right as per the comments below are from people that can't be arsed to go explore for them self I will ignore them and so should u guys right I have spent many hours on this site in the last year and yes there are cars there and a lot more like parts papers and the very lush MD office there is also a whole net work of tunnels thst they should of sealed up however I no of one that they over lucked and has a 100ft ladder witch takes u straight in to the factory I am hoping to get bk there again soon in Jan 19 before it is all knocked down and lost for gd if u would like to tag along then I am happy to show u the network of tunnels and the area it self before its gone for gd cheers guys hope to chat soon
Hey thanks for the message. I’m actually going out of the country in January so might be a bit difficult but if there is another time I’d be happy to tag along
@@TazerOnlineMedia Thanks tazer thanks for reply I will be more than happy to show you around the old tunnels and the secret way in to the factory where the old parts are and the old cars etc i all so no loads more tunnels around Birmingham that was used for the cold war era i would be happy to show u these so u can up load to ur channel. As I am still new to you tube and learning the ropes lol if u let me no when u are thinking about and I do a quick recon of the sites so we can be 100% sure all access is still open before u travel down cheers again and look forward to will be a honour to explore these sites with u and ur team keep up the good work guys see u in the new year
Grrrr click bait again. Why show a thumbnail of a car abandoned on a production line if you don't actually see this or film it. UA-cam is 99% click bait now...
I know as i work there :) was only there yesterday, the plant that you say is where the cars are is totally empty, this was the final line for the latest MG model, production stopped here earlier this year(car came in 3/4 built from china) this (CAB 2) was emptied around 5 months ago ready for demolition :) the only abandoned cars on site now are the old test/pre production models that are round the back of the press garage which is to the bottom far right of the factory pic you put in the video :)
TBH there is nothing to see there anymore as what will be left is just offices and a warehouse for parts here is a little map of whats what imgur.com/a/ECY21
The definition of “breaking” and entering is that something needs to be broken in order to be guilty of it. Not through an open door like we got in through ;)
So if you walk in through an open door to a house that's not yours it's legal is it? Same as a derelict factory. You could of all been killed and no one would of known
I suggest maybe looking up the uk laws you might gain some insight into what’s legal and what’s not. Doing a bungee jump puts your life at risk, walking across the street can put your life at risk. I appreciate the concern but I am a grown man and fully aware of the risks. And I still choose to take them because life is there to be lived, not to avoid risk wherever you can. We only get one shot, make it count and do something amazing.
Perhaps, but it wasn't that easy as we was on a road trip round the country and had a limited time frame in each area before moving onto the next. This was a last minute location that a guy on instagram had given me and given me a few details, so we were trying our best to get things together in the time we had. Unfortunately, urbex is not always easy to plan ahead for every detail. I mean this site there was know way we could have known they'd be demolishing parts until we got there. I mean we didn't even hear and demo going on till we got inside that big room. Oh well, we live and learn.

Let's hope that SAIC go the same way as MG Rover. And very soon.

Always good to get information on the places I visit from people have been there when it’s open. Thanks for the comment. 👍

I was a Longbridge boy growning up so shit to see it all gone
Wow, it was so dark in there I thought it was night. Too bad there were no cars.
Well there still might have been if we was in the right bit lol

Great explore, this is so huge building, there’s these Cars in here.
Thanks 👍
I used to alarm up those big abandoned places on my own in the dark. Could be spooky a times I can tell you
Hell yes, this was spooky with a whole load of us lol.

4:53 This looks like a live action Doom set 'You need a red keycard'
🤣🤣🤣
Enjoyed very much.
Ohhhhh thats where you went, isn't that factory demolished now? Was pretty cool watching your version, nicely edited too :)
Not sure actually although they were demolishing bits while we were inside so yeah it’s probably gone.
I subscribed man, keep it up , apparently is exciting and intriguing, but most important stay safe!
worldpeace32 Thanks! Yeah we try our best
Great video mate ✌✌✌We definitely need to head back before the hole place gets totally knocked down
Absolutely :D
Awesome explore, that’s a pretty huge place
Yeah and we explored less than half of it lol
Tazer Urbex - Abandoned & Forgotten Places oh man, it really is big aha

Couldn't you link a video of other explorer's seeing the cars
Why didn't they build special MG Rivers out of stock when they stripped the place out?
Hahaha love the music at the start, fits so well 👌🏻😂
Thanks Helen, yeah I dunno why but the music just kind of fit with the footage so I thought... to hell with it, why not 😂😆😂
Tazer Urbex - Abandoned & Forgotten Places it really did, especially the last bit with the thumbs up hahaha! X
theres nothing in both factories now, the land has been sold back to the owners, both factories are empty ready for demolition
Steves Cleenz hmm that’s not what I heard... but I have someone checking the site so sure they’ll let me know lol 😉

shame that mini was taken out by that really bad man ...now there is nothing to see
So these guys filmed themselves breaking and entering and post it online. Lol

Perhaps you should had got all your information before you set off

As usual more You tube crap. There are no cars here. EVERY MG BUILT UP TO 1982 WAS SO.D BEFORE IT WAS FINISHED.
